Although there was construction in the front of the hotel, it was easy to get to the lobby through the back entrance. Our rooms were immaculate and the bed/pillows were extremely comfortable. We were informed the hotel was in the process of being completely renovated and I have to agree it needs it. Staff was VERY friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We just stayed one night, the room was clean and the bed's were comfortable. It was affordable and served a continental breakfast in the AM. It worked out fine.

Room needed a make over.

They were remodeling the front of the hotel which was an eye sore. Besides that everything was great. The room was very clean.

hotel was right next to freeway and outlet mall which turned out to be nice. rooms were clean, breakfast was nice, had mini fridge and microwave. tv's could be updated. beds were comfy.l

I stay in hotels everyday and although it was adequate and the night desk clerk Richard was great, nice and tried to help us with our reservation etc. We came in after a long day of traveling and work and passed right out when we finally checked in. The morning clerk was a different story. When I woke up I went to the bathroom and noticed that the toilet was not cleaned properly(had crusty something on it) as well as the vanity was dirty as well. I took photos on my phone and told the front desk and was told that she personally inspected each of the rooms for cleanliness, so I asked well what happened and she started blaming everyone else even me for not reporting it sooner even after I explained to her what happened. I would probably not stay here again.

The hotel was under constrution, however it was fine. The only probelm we had is the pillows sucked. to soft felt like a blanket.

Besides the mix up with my name on my reservation not due to the hotel check in took about an hour! The place is a bit older but none the less was clean and nice. To me personally the bed was so un comfortable :( when all I wanted to do was rest!! Made my back hurt! My husband didn't complain said it was fine. Another thing out shower was clogged water would fill up the tub. Not sure if they were aware of that but I did let them know before I checked out. I would stay here again and such a GREAT location next to food & plenty of shopping.

hotel staff were always friendly & helpful. hotel is being upgraded with paint, new entry. outlets & train transportation even for SF very close.

Everything was great, location ,price, service. beds weren't bad either .the only thing that made it a bad night for me were the pillows, you would need to put 4 of them together to make 1 good pillow. take your own if you decide to stay here .

The motel location is good. Next to Denney's and have discount by showing room key. The breakfast is ok. The noise insulation is not good on 2nd floor. Our room was next to the elevator and heared noise all night. We tried to keep our foot steps light, but still received complain from the frontdesk :-(

The quality of this Super 8 was pretty much on a par with the other Super 8's I have visited -- a fairly high degree of comfort for the price. I'm not including Super 8's that have exterior walkways and room entrances; those are noisier, more like motels and less like fine hotels. This Super 8 with its inner hallways, stairways, and elevator gave a sense of privacy. Bedding was very good. Lighting, a bit on the dim side, was adequate, though I noticed the lampshades were cracked. Breakfast was good, with waffles that you can prepare.

I was placed in a handicapped room, could not change it. Basically I was in the very front of the hall way, might as well just opened my door for the front desk to hear and see what I was doing. Never staying here again.

Perfect affordable place to rest your head before taking on another day of shopping at the outlets. Gilroy Premium Outlets not even 1 minute away drive. Very nice front desk people. The room can use more thorough cleaning but that's to be expected.

It was nice but the hotel's breakfast service shut down at 9:00 which for early for vacationers. Some people did not get a breakfast. Most other places keep the service open until 10:00.

Worst room ever place smelled of smoke and bug spray

I had a great time but the room was hot and the chiller wasn't working properly so it was very warm in the room.

my room was small and smelly,poor the dark decoration, but the location is convenient to eat and shopping.

A good value & excellent housekeeping. Only downside is finding good food close to the motel. If you plan to sleep in, the location right next to 101 means very early morning traffic noise, at least on weekdays.

We were tired and hot from a Renaissance Faire when we arrived early for our stay. The hotel had been full up the night before and the rooms were still being cleaned. The fine young lady at the desk was exceedingly warm and polite. She showed us an employee restroom where we could change out of our costumes, took possession personally of my insulin cooler to make sure it didn't get lost or damaged and checked with her staff on the rooms available. She was able to get us into a very nice clean room quickly and all of this with a smile...even if my husband was being a bit of a bear in the beginning. We will stay here again next time we go to Renaissance Faire.

A satisfactory room to sleep next to Outlet Stores

I hope there are better rooms than 109. Why I was put there I don't have a clue. I might as well been in the loby.

Room was nice, service was excellent, breakfast had decent choices. Only downfalls was no hot tub and the toilet seat in our bathroom was loose/falling off. I would stay here again

The bathroom doors need to be sprayed with wd40 .because at 200am opening the bathroom door makes a loud squeaky noise and it kept waking up my wife,!same room last year 207

Hotels.com said we were "GUARANTEED" a roll-away bed. We have five in our family. There was not a roll away bed and the hotel said that they never guarantee one will be available and that our room did not accommodate a roll away bed anyway. It was too small and would be fire hazard. My daughter had to sleep on the floor.

Just because the motel might be low budget, doesn't mean that they don't have to do any maintenance. They should make the rooms look decent. The carpet smelled like old urine. The sink would not drain as well as it supposed to. It was gross when you brush your teeth and you see all the water in the sink. The shower curtain was filthy and the shower head was awful. The knob to the AC was missing. The TV had no remote control. You could buy a universal remote for $1. This was our first time there, and will be our last time there at Super 8.

The rooms are nice, not any too big, but definitely comfortable and accommodations are satisfactory. For the rate it was a good value. Very convenience location less than 0.5 miles off the freeway with food and entertainment (outlet mall) within walking distance.

The room itself was fine and comfortable. The only complaint I have is the shower. The floor of the shower was dirty, there was a black ring around the tub and the shower curtain was slimy like it had never been cleaned.

Expect what you pay for. It's OK just to sleep for the night after a day of shopping but don't expect too much especially the toilet. No lock for toilet door!

Location was great. It was across the street from the outlets, and had a Denny's across of the parking lot. Gilroy gardens was nearby too. The only complaint we really had was that the shower rod in our room was loose, so the shower curtain kept collecting in the middle of the rod, and water was either splasing out of the tub or we were fixing the curtain every couple of minutes. Overall, it was ok. It served it's purpose: a bed to sleep in and a place to shower.

Walls were very thin and "BOTH" beds had hair in them so it looked like the sheets were not changed. Also, the bottom sheet was not a fitted sheet and didn't even cover the mattress or mattress cover pad that was on the bed. I had to call the front desk to get new sheets and made the beds myself.

Very basic needs met. The bathroom had a small sink no counter space. Bathroom floor was sticky, towels were not soft.

The hotel was ok. Check in was friendly. Rooms are small and it smelled like a strong cleaner. We had 3 guests and 2 towels. We asked for additional towels and they were out, however provided a variety of hand towels. Unfortunately a little difficult to dry off with several small towels. Lastly, we discovered that the peep hole in our room was all peep!! In otherwords I could see out and others could definitely see in...

Satisfied with my stay. Eddie who helped me was very professional and helpful. Would stay here again.

So we spent a night at the hotel across the street to save a few bucks.. Just spend the extra and stay at this super eight, so worth it!! The staff was very kind and spoke English! The rooms were clean too, unlike the one across the street.. Great hotel, we have stayed before and would stay again, hands down.
