In a continuation of the Wednesday Night Concert Series, Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort will be scouting new talent from a variety of genres to entertain the guests and homeowners. All performances are held in the Village Events Plaza, and admission is free and open to the public. Subject to change based upon weather.
Habitrot for Humanity (October 6, 2012) - Sandestin invites running enthusiasts to enjoy the mild, sunny weather and scenic trails throughout the beautiful 2,400 acre resort. Proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity.
Serve2Cure (October 6, 2012) - This event will include a tennis tournament, breakfast, fastest serve contest, silent auction, raffles, prizes and luncheon at Graffiti's in Baytowne Wharf. Please contact the hotel for more details and to sign up; hotel contact information will be included in your booking confirmation email. Proceeds go to Sacred Heart Breast Cancer fund.
Dash Around the Table: Cooking Show & Expo, featuring chef Jon Ashton (October 6, 2012 - Expo opens at 3 PM, show starts at 7 PM) - Chef Ashton will combine culinary skill, British charm, passion for food, and a strong sense of humor to create an interactive and entertaining show.
Vettes in the Village (October 13, 2012) - Area corvette clubs bring "America's Sports Car" to the Village Events Plaza. Corvettes will be shined to the max as these automotive icons zoom into the Village streets.
Baytowne Wharf Beer Festival (October 19-20, 2012) - Known as the “Best Beer Fest on the Emerald Coast”, this popular festival features 40 on-site craft brewers, over 100 domestic and international beers, seminars and samplings and live music.
Get Spooked (October 26-27, 2012) - From festive fall pumpkins and hayrides to a thrilling pirate-themed island trail, Sandestin will be the place to be for a spooktacular self-guided tour of Jolee Island this Halloween. Visitors will trick or treat to land marks along the island’s outer trails. At the locations, some sweet treats will be given for braving the dark and scary trails. Sandestin features four award-winning golf courses and 15 tennis courts in hard and Hydrogrid clay. Tennis lessons can be arranged for guests. Complimentary amenities include two four-hour bicycle rentals and one-hour boogie board, canoe and kayak rentals. Four beach huts provide snacks, sundries, towel service, and beverages (surcharges).
Sailing and fishing excursions can be arranged through the resort. Beach umbrellas, beach towels, and chairs are available for rental on a per day basis and include setup. Beachside activities include a mini-golf course (surcharges). Onsite water sports include parasailing, Jet Skiing, kayaking, and sailing.

Guests can check in for all accommodations at The Market Shops at Sandestin or at the Grand Sandestin. LeCiel front desk is open during summers only.
Vehicles not registered with Sandestin Owner Association are prohibited on resort premises. These include golf carts, motorcycles, motorized scooters, RVs, boat trailers, motor homes, campers, and buses. Special parking is available for motorcycles, RVs, and boat trailers. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please note: LeCiel units (standard rooms & studios) receive complimentary daily housekeeping. Village and Grand studios receive complimentary trash and towel housekeeping. Luau and Beachside studios receive trash and towel housekeeping for a fee. All 1 bedroom and larger units do not receive housekeeping service. A nonrefundable cleaning fee is charged, based on unit size.

We loved the Luau location...close to the beach, within a 4-5 minute walk, and great ocean views. Definitely the place to stay in the resort if you want to truly enjoy the beach!! Thank you so much for your hospitality!! We WILL be back!

Registration too confusing and the receptionist too fast to explain the vicinity. AC also too loud. Check in time too late at 4 pm. Extra fees not mentioned during check-in. Not close to the beach.

we were VERY dissatisfied with the room, amenities, and staff of the resort. We recommend paying more and staying at the Grand Sandestin like our friends did. NOTE: The two beds were FULL SIZE beds, so they were small and the room was crowded with two adults and two children.

Completely disappointed. Reservation center, which serves as the front desk, was 1 1/2 miles away from our room. If we got locked out of our room or needed some assistance, we were out of luck. The overall appearance was depressing. Plus they hit me with a reservation fee without my knowledge.

The hotel picture was a bit misleading and I ended up in a resort very far from the beach. But overall, the hotel was very nice and more family oriented rather than for singe people.

Great location....room was old, and it wasnt what was protrayied in the preview....becareful, all the rooms are different....mine was "low end " each has different owners...but location in Destin is fantastic, enjoy the surroundings....thried to get a different room, wanted to charge me double what i paid on Hotels.com because i didnt book through them...be careful

"Not even close to being worth the $"

Booked 1 night. Checked in at 3, but couldn't get into the room until after 7:30, because it hadn't been cleaned yet, and had to check out by 11 the next morning. Not worth it considering the price. 400 for the room, 50 taxes and fees, 48 for the resort fee, and 60 for the cleaning fee. Would not stay here again. Ever.

No room service in the condos. In fact, you pay more in your resort fee to have it cleaned when you leave. Too far from the beach. No one asked to help with our bags. Unheated pool after we called and they told us otherwise. No carts to help you move your luggage to the rooms. No sign of "resort" service or luxury anywhere. Free towels at the pool but if you go to the beach you can buy them for $15 each. At least give me a kiss while I'm getting ripped off.

"Much better options on property"

Hotel was in need of an update. Paid for a bay view and when we checked in at 8 pm they said our room wasn't ready yet and would it be OK if they put us in another room. After dinner we went to the room and found we were now on the ground floor with a parking lot view. Front desk closed and we were stuck. Will call the resort direct next time.

My family stayed in village studio, but this room was smaller than I expected. even more no view, no internet service, and too long distance from building gate. Village studio is just A SMALL ROOM with TWO BEDS, don't be expected anymore. We stayed Pilot House, 1st floor but we can meet no staff in the building.

overall it was very good. We were told by hotels.com that our room had a pool and garden view. We arrived a little early so they put us in a room with not much of a view so we were a bit dissappointed but the lacation was great and the room was nice enough. The whole area is beautiful and a short walk away to Baytown village restaurants and shops.
