Was a beautiful place to stay for the price there could of been like a hot breakfast or a hot dinner of your choosing. rooms were very nice...

It was very cozy, beautifully decorated and constructed. We didn't want to leave. Sleeper sofa seemed a little frail, but over all a great stay.

Beautiful Lodge overlooking the Mountains and Gatlinburg. Exquisite restaurant with excellent service and food. Have stayed all over Europe and Us and this meal was next to the top, Wife had lamb and I had filet, both were excellent. Was a perfect stay and will definitely visit again. James

Perfect location...close to all must-see sites; yet, far enough away to enjoy the serenity of nature at it's fullest.

We were looking for a brief hiatus from the hectic pace. Buckberry Lodge was a perfect one night stop off for us. We arrived early and the staff made us comfortable to enjoy the facilities until our room was ready. The staff was super. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a quite location in the Smokies. We'll be going back.

Everything you could possibly ask for in a Lodge. Loved the tour and was looking forward to enjoying a wonderful dinner overlooking the Great Smoky Mountains, but without a reservation we went hungry!

Enjoyed my stay what a beautiful place.

staff was very friendly, room was extremely clean and unique with a definite rustic style. it was close to town but far enough away from all the busy areas. could have had more lighting outside. beautiful scenic views of the surrounding area. would definitely go back.

We stayed in this hotel and took day trips to Dollywood, Gatlinburg, and the Smokeys. It offers very quick and easy access to the Smokeys. It is worth noting that to get to Gatlinburg it is a short drive down a windy country road and parking in town is a bit of a pain. The lodge had a rustic cabin feel with great decor, and plenty of space. The continental breakfast was among the best I've ever had at a hotel (fresh baked pastries, yes please!).

Wonderful views, great suite, terrific food - and close to the park. We loved it!

Although we both got there with a cold /flu we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Staff was kind and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. If you ride a motorcycle like we did get there in the daytime because it is un-lit, up hil with switch backs. Be careful of the way you leave, it is possible to take a "mule trail" road down if you dont stay on the Park Road.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. Great location in the hills just outside Gatlinburg giving fantastic views of the Smokies from our room and the restaurant balconies. Rooms are luxurious and attractive with all the trappings of a four star hotel. Fine dining available in the hotel's restaurant with reasonable choice of high quality dishes. Would not hesitate to recommend if you are seeking a luxury Smokies romantic retreat away from the tourist trap of downtown Gatlinburg.

5 minute drive to the downtown Gatlinburg madness, but feels like another planet. Absolutely fantastic. Great people running it as well -- very friendly!

Beautiful place but not within walking distance of Gatlinburg. We loved it. Lovely rooms with a balcony, kitchen, whirlpool tub, hiking trails, a restaurant and peace and quiet. We were on the first floor but next time I will request a second floor room for a little better view. We will definately come back.

We expected more from the resort, since it was a bit pricey. TV was old, continental breakfast disappointing. Bed was comfy, shower was great.

My stay was wonderful, I enjoyed Riverstone Resort tremendously! I look forward to visiting your Resort again very soon!!!

Very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful views, and away from the tourist trap that is Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. We come to the Smokies to get away from it all, and this place proved a great spot to do just that. The only complaint I could have would have been that our room had more trees and less mountains in the view from the balcony, but that's picking nits. Hard to beat enjoying breakfast in the shadow of the mountains.

Nice secluded getaway for the wife and I for our anniversary. Very nice hotel that we really enjoyed ourselves at. Staff was very friendly and helpful. A little off of the beaten path and away from everything but thats what we were looking for.

The lodge restaurant is "fine dining" and their chef definitely meets the standard! Food and service were excellent. The lodge is up in the mountains of Gatlinburg and just a few minutes from downtown shopping. Don't count on your GPS to get you there - call for directions!!

One of the best places we have stayed in the entire U.S. Extremely professional and friendly staff. Beautiful view, excellent accomodations. Fantastic location.

Peaceful, relaxing best place to stay. Get up the hill away from all the noise. Can't wait for pool, will be return customers!

Great place. Very romantic but still fun for me and my daughter. Food is either really good or just ok. Waitresses are not happy to serve you the continental breakfast which is free.

A beautiful small resort set in a gorgeous setting. Dine extremely well on the deck while looking out on the Blue Ridge Mountains. We wished we could have stayed two more days. All the staff are extremely helpful.

We stayed 2 nights and loved it. The weather was a bit chilly which allowed us to enjoy a fire in the fireplace. The view of the trees and the deck w/sitting area was lovely. We were coming from the end of the Blue Ridge Pkwy and then toured the Smokey Mountains. I had read some of the reviews of this lodge which encouraged making a reservation on the second floor due to noise. We asked for the upstairs room and were pleasantly surprised by the quietness of the entire area. It was just what we needed after 10 days of driving and seeing the sites of Asheville. As we live in a warm weather climate the FP was a huge advantage. The reception, gathering room, and dining room were all excellent. We just had the continental breakfast and loved being served. Also ate dinner in the restaurant our second night and it was lovely & quiet w/exceptional service. Yes, the dinner is expensive but of value to us. We were able to just leave our lodge and in 1 minute walk to the dining rm. The room was immaculately clean and firewood set to start. Their bathrooms were remodeled and every attempt was made from our rooms to view the greenery and trees with total privacy. Couldn't imagine a nicer lodge to end our trip and start the long drive home. I would definitely recommend it.

The lodge was a pleasant surprise. Rustic yet elegant. The scenery was beautiful, but close to the main drag. It could not have been a nicer experience.

Very nice hotel outside of Gatlinburg (10 min car drive). Ideal place to relax. If you are looking for a quiet place, in a log cabin type of atmosphere, surrounded by mountains, this is an excellent choice.

The room was very cozy, clean and comfortable. The view of the Smoky Mountains from our porch was amazing. We had this same view from the bed and from the jacuzzi tub. We couldn't have asked for anything more perfect. I have absolutely no complaints and I would recommend this hotel to everyone. It was well worth every penny!

Other than the Breakfast service being slow, our stay was fantastic! Outdoor dining was awesome & room was better than expected. Will likely come back in the future.

Stayed there in October of 2011 for a mini honeymoon. It is a perfect place for a romantic getaway with all the amentities. Great views and very private/exclusive. Food was very good but appetizer portions were small for the price. Rooms were clean, good sized and very rustic. Down side was that walls and ceiling are poorly insulated and sounds from neighbors on all four sides can be heard. Don't expect any

Living in the foothills of the Adirondacks we were so impressed with the Adirondack feel of the lodge. We needed some R&R and this was place for us. This would be the perfect setting for an intimate wedding or family reunion. We can't wait to go back!!!

We loved the Lodge. It was perfect for a romantic getaway. Clean rooms, very quiet place. Gorgeous views from our balcony, too. Only wish we could.ve stayed longer and enjoyed the grounds.

Our recent stay at the Lodge at Buckberry Creek was O.K., and a nice place by Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge standards. However, we arrived with at least 3/4 full tank of gas and awoke the following AM to find that all our gasoline had been siphoned from our gas tank. When I reported this to the front desk, I was told that the same thing had happened to some of their own "on-site" vehicles. An unfortunate happening for us. Just make sure your gas caps lock!

We got there on a Sunday. First, our room wasn't ready. Had to go back to the lodge to swap rooms. No big deal. Then, I wanted to make coffee. No coffee pot. No big deal. Then, we wanted to go eat at The Lodge, closed on Sundays......Ok, that's enough. Oh and no shuttle service...so...we had to drive back into town to eat. Oh well...at least the room was fairly clean. Prob wouldn't go back. Oh, and there isn't anything there to do....nothing.
