Hotel Le Roberval - מונטריאול

If you're looking for fancy accommodations, this isnt it, but if you're looking for simple, basic accommodation, a great value for the price. Very basic continental breakfast. Easy access to 747 bus to airport and public transport. Easy access to food/shopping etc.

The hotel overall was clean including the bathroom,rugs,sheets blankets. However the service was terrible! I will not go back to this hotel. First they failed to mention a 100$ deposit and parking fees. Then they also fail to mention that you cannot park on the first level in the parking garage and called our room at 9am to move our car. And lastley at check out they tied charging us for towels because they had makeup on them and made us wait til they washed them before we can leave on our 6 hour trip home when it was snowing. Absolutely terrible I would not ever stay there again not recommend anyone to stay here.

Do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The location was a block from the Berri-UQAM metro station, so easy access to most of the city. An easy walk to the Village, and also to Old Montreal, so the location was fine. The bed was comfortable enough (although smaller than expected), the wifi worked fine, and the shower was OK. I really liked the separate room so I did not disturb anyone if I woke up early. The television is only in the "living room" so if you like to watch TV in bed, you are out of luck. Overall, a nice choice for the price.

The room was in good condition, hotel is located close to downtown and right next to subway station, super convenient. Had great time!!

There are about 8 steps to carry cases up when arriving, but a ramp is available when leaving. Staff were friendly & helpful. Breakfast was very good with excellent choice. The gel for the shower was empty. Room was very clean but was not made up after 1st night.

It's nice to have a suite, with a small kitchen and sofa/bed. The neighborhood is in a so so area, but considering the price, it's a good value.Enjoyable weekend trip overall.

Nice hotel for the money!

Very good hotel. It is in very good condition. Breakfast is good. Recommended to everybody who need central location. The garage is little expensive and small for mid size car.

Loved the hotel. Would definately stay there again. The suite with the two bedrooms was a great size and a great price. We had six people in the room and had plenty of room. The room and hotel were clean.

This was a very nice place to stay. The room was clean, comfortable and roomy. It's located near a lot of restaurants and night life. It was well worth the price.

The room was super nice. It was probably renovated recently, as the decoration seemed in the current fashion. There was a flat screen TV, wifi, a fridge, a sink, and even some flatware under the sink. I did not recall the booking as having breakfast, but there was a breakfast buffet included. What prevents me from giving this place five stars is the parking and unloading situation. The hotel is on a main road, with no parking directly in front of the hotel. You have to park on the side road, and walk the luggage around. There are several steep steps to get into the hotel. There is underground parking, which is $15 a night plus tax, a half block down the street under another hotel. We arrived tired and hungry, with no idea how to unload the car. The attendant acted like we knew all about the parking deck, and the side unloading zone. There was no valet around, but we certainly would have paid the hotel to bring our bags up and park the car if possible. Everything about the place was great, but it is not like an interstate hotel where you can park outside your room.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, it was walking distance to many great restaurants and bars. The staff were courteous. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We had a suite with a kitchen, we didn't need it, but it would be great for a longer stay if you wanted to cook or for families. Would definitely stay there again.

I enjoyed my stay very much and was impressed with the free continental breakfast. The food was very good and the customer service was very helpful as well.

Reception service is bad, breakfast is awful, rooms are ugly but clean, great location. You can get a better place for the same price. I will not recomended, will not be back.

Close to everything. Nice continental breakfast, definitely enough to fill you for the morning. Only complaint was the pillows, but overall, good for the amount we paid.

Be prepared for a cold, simple breakfast (no eggs or bacon like Hotel LaBelle offers). The room key had to be reactivated at least twice a day. My friend was locked out both nights, and had to wake everyone up to enter the room. The suite wasn't the spacious space shown on the website. Another friend booked a suite via Le Roberval, but ended up in a HUGE suite across the road at Hotel Labelle. On top of that, he had a jacuzzi tub and warm buffet-style breakfasts. The staff at Le Roberval was stoic, yet helpful. The location is perfect for access to the gay village and/or Old Montreal / the Old Port.

Room was clean and had everything we needed. Staff was friendly but less helpful. My issue was with parking. We park our minivan in a parking lot (does not belong to hotel) nearby for $15 and our driver window was smashed. Next two nights we just park on the street for free and everything was fine. Take ALL your valuables out of the car.

When we checked in, we had a friendly person who told us that we couldn't check in until 4pm. That was fine, and they directed us to the nearby (sketchy) parking. When we came back, though, the woman was incredibly unhelpful and refused to explain to me why she needed to take a larger deposit from me than had been previously stated. Eventually I gave up and gave in, and she took the amount that I had been saying! I guess she was so bad at communicating (though her English was flawless) that we got confused. Very frustrating experience.

It was nice. Decent hotel, easy to access every part of city. The room was clean, the only thing that I don't like computer was out of order for two day. It is good to take your lab top any where do not relay to the Hotels service.

Nice comfortable room, certainly clean enough. very helpful polite staff. was annoying to have to wash our own mugs & glasses, we thought that the cleaner would do so. nice to have a fridge & coffee maker. one can hear the shower upstairs which can be annoying. good value for money, nice breakfast, too. handy for airport bus-- we would stay there again, good sized room for 2 singles, ample beds & hanging space for clothing...

We stayed only one night, and found everything to be in good order. We did not purchase the parking, but found a parking space on the street instead. The service was good, the room was good. The only complaint we had was the air conditioner was loud and didn't cool the room down quite enough. Overall, we liked this hotel very much, and in fact, have stayed there before, having had previous good experiences there.

The hotel and bedroom was very simple, no frills at all, but it had a small kitchen that could be useful and small living room with a sofa bed, good when you have a third person sharing the room. We enjoyed our stay, mainly because it's not so far from Old Montreal (15 min walk) and in the way we stopped by many free shows that were happening from the International Jazz Festival. We left our car parked in the hotel parking lot (about half quarter from the hotel) and went walking, it was very convenient! There was some homeless people nearby, but we didn't feel unsafe in any moment. We also enjoyed the hotel breakfast, it's nothing fancy, but you have a nice small variety to choose from (cereal, coffee, milk, yogurt, bread, jelly, muffin etc) it was a great way to start our day. If you are on a budget, looking for a no frills hotel, not so far from old Montreal, so this could be a good option for you.

Pleasant stay - clean comfortable rooms. Fine breakfast.

The location and staff made this hotel a good deal. The staff happily accommodated our request for an early checkin and late checkout. The building itself is dated, however the room was clean and comfortable, the airconditioner worked well and the TV was a new good sized flat panel LCD. Breakfast was included with our stay - bagels, toast, cereal, canned fruit and pastries. Close to the Berri-UQAM metro station and walking distance from old Montreal, we had a great time.

Everything was good except the room looked out into a narrow alley and had no view at all. I had selected the lowest cost catagory. The breakfast room was in the basement and also had no view. The garage was tight for an SUV, would be impossible for a minivan.

We stayed in a 2 room suite that was quite large and had lots of room for the 6 of us. Good breakfast. Pleasant staff. 3 subway stops from Crescent St.

This is a very basic hotel. Rooms were clean and you felt safe. You have to walk up a block or two before seeing any great sites of Montreal. The hotel location is surrounded by office buildings - nothing exciting but location is still good access to downtown or Old Montreal. For a night or weekend - this hotel is fine.

We both like the room very much, well kept also the people at the reception were very pleasant and helpful.The breakfast was quite nice.Overall we will be going back.

When I arrived at the hotel to check in, I was given a "junior suite" which had a kitchen, 1 sofa bed, and 1 queen sized bed. I was not happy with this because I did not need a kitchen. I was only there to spend the night after clubbing so I wanted 2 queen beds to sleep comfortably. When I went back to reception to tell the employee that I was given the wrong room, he told me that there were no more rooms with 2 queen beds. I had to argue with him that I booked a room for 2 queen beds & it was confirmed by the hotel after my payment, so it didn't make sense. He argued back that I was getting an upgrade. After a small dispute, he said he could get me a room with 2 queen beds (what I booked online).The room was very spacious and clean. The location was convenient-only a few mins walk from Berri-Uqam metro and a 5 min drive to St-Laurent street. Also, we received free breakfast the next morning. The breakfast was pretty awful. I was only able to have orange juice and a piece of croissant. The muffin was 500 calories! Good thing my sister noticed and advised me before opening it. Everything was hard and oily. There was nothing freshly made such as eggs or bacon. However, the staff were very polite. I stayed there on Victoria day weekend (Saturday night), so it was quite expensive. Overall, our one night stay was ok. I would probably not come back to this place unless I found a really good deal on it.

Nice to have a kitchenette! Walking distance to underground mall, St. Patrick's Basilica and restaurants. Very nice staff. Bathrrom may need some updating though...

Very nice cleanliness, comfort, location and breakfast. But parking is horrible, front desk staff is not active and the shampoo box is not easy to use.Anyway, our family is pleasure staying there for two nights.

Check-in not computerized, ie., had to fill-out personal details because it wasn't available through the net company that I booked with. Tile vs rugs in hall ways and half the rooms means very loud hallways and very dirty ones in winter. Wish there was sheer curtains on window as room was facing building across the street. Parking is half a block away and very challenging. I would consider parking in this garage quite a challenge with a van. Lighting in room very dim. Lighting combined with colour makes this a very sad place. These two factors would make a big difference to me if they were fixed. It was clean- temperature comfortable-price was right for my use in a short stay.

found used cleanex under pillow. bum was peeing on building beside front door when we checked in. wouldnt stay there again

Over all we were pleased with the cleanliness of the room, and enjoyed the buffet breakfast. Good value for the money
