Friendly staff, lovely sea view rooms and a great breakfast to set you right for the day.

This hotel was awesome in location, service and Staff. We did Europe tour for 31 days and visited 7 countries, out of which I would really rate this hotel as one of the best per it's service, price, staff etc. Lets start 1) Entered my room which was 2-3, and it was pretty close to the bar but had very good view, as we were in honey moon my wife and I dont want any disturbance, so we requested for another room, and the lady in reception, changed with no questions and given us 2-8 ( and I got one of the very best views of Wind mills and Sea), it's was so sweet of her for providing us one of the best room. Our stay in hotel was the best (view, comfort, Jacuzzi etc) and also fantastic breakfast with very nice staff. 2) My wife forgotten her wallet in the room and we checked out and we found about it when we returned to US. So we called the Hotel and requested to look for it in the room, and as usual receptionist was very sweet and replied that they found the wallet and after we provided the USA address they mailed it to us. This was pretty good for all the staff. tehy are very well mannered and helpful. I didnt experienced no hiccups while staying in this hotel. this is real gem 3) pickup and drop off was awesome too that person is very helpful

The Breakfast in this place rocks - with a fresh Orange juice machine :) very clean with good views and an awesome balcony in most rooms.. This hotel is a bit away from the main downtown area - which could be good or bad. We would have preferred to stay a bit closer to the main town area but overall we had a good stay... Nice pool and the front staff is helpful. If you want to see more of the island than just downtown then this is a good location as lots of scooter rentals are around there and you can avoid driving in the narrow downtown streets..

We stayed here October 14th 2012 for a week. The hotel is towards the top of the town ideally sited for the bus station and close to the main shopping areas.The hotel arrange to collect you from airport or port and also do this when you depart which is a great service. It is quite a large hotel with large comfortable rooms with small balconies. There is a good sized swimming pool with a wide selection of seating and loungers. There is also a bar although we never used it. We had a great power shower with plenty of hot water, a small fridge and reasonable air conditioning. There is a free room safe. We were very impressed with the breakfasts with superb freshly squeezed orange juice and a wide selection of cereals, fruits, breads and cold and hot breakfast items. Plenty of positives especially the price which is very attractive for a relatively expensive island. The negatives are minor and would include the occasional shortage of items at breakfast (we could have got up earlier!) and a general air of damp in some of the rooms. Not enough to spoil a holiday but gives a sense of the need for some general updating.

My partner and I enjoyed our week long holiday at the Poseidon hotel.Staff are very helpful, friendly and accommodating.The hotel is centrally and ideally located, very accessible anywhere else you wish to visit in Mykonos..Also loved our day trip to Tinos City, a completely different place.. The people in Mykonos and Tinos are really great, nice and very peaceful, you can go out anytime at night and yet feel safe..Perfect holiday..but quite expensive ... It's a holiday anyway!!!!

We had a wonderful deluxe room with a steam shower and jet tub, with a view of the sea. Breakfast every morning was very good. One of the first places where we could find multigrain bread! Fresh orange juice was delicious. The pool was great too - about 10 feet deep! Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and there was easy access to town. Be sure to walk a little further into town for your beer and water. The "supermarket" nearby was twice the price and it seemed the woman working there just made up her prices to rip tourists off. She charged us twice for some items. There is a great selection of restaurants nearby. 2.50 for an excellent Gyro can't be beat!

Really liked the staff, pool, and location but we booked a superior room only find out the rooms one level down had a better view of the pool. The Wi-Fi signal was very weak and not usuable in our room (200 series). Would still stay here again as it was one of the few pools we found still open in Geeece in October.

The breakfast, service and location are impeccable. At least for the price we paid! (Which was a low season rate)

The Hotel was wonderful, large room, clean, plenty of hot water. Free wireless internet. Our balcony had a wonderful view of the windmills of Mykonos and we could sit and watch the sun set. The breakfast was excellent a large selection, fresh orange juice, fresh fruit, a cold meat and cheese selection, hot english breakfast, fresh bread, cakes and as much as you want plus tea and coffee. Really impresed with this Hotel. Location was great as we visited Delos and this Hotel is just on the edge of the town, so no noise but walking distance to taverna and old port. The even had a shuttle bus to the airport.

Love the Island of Mykonos. The hotel is very close to town and I have paid vastly more to stay at another hotel in the past in the same district. I would recomend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay close to Mykonos Town

We had a great time - Poseidon Hotel has beautiful rooms, very clean, great location (easy walk to Little Venice and Mykonos Town, close to bus terminal to get bus to the beach). Breakfast is simply awesome. Also, they provided free transfers to and from the ferry port which made it so much more convenient for us with our luggage. Will definitely return!

Great place! Best breakfast we had during our two week European adventure... And most comfortable bed too. We really appreciated the shuttle to and from port as well.

Friendly staff, big room and comfortable bed. 5-10 minute walk to town along main street. There are a lot of steps around the hotel which might not suit some. I would definitely stay here again though!

Fantastic location, service and free shuttle a bonus, fantastic pool and pool bar, highly recommend, don't stay anywhere else for similar price, you can't get better.

The Poseidon Suites are very comfortable and clean in a great location. Close to the bus station, shops and any other needs on a holiday. the harbour is a short walk as is Little Venice with the gorgeous shops and picturesque cobble stone streets. A place worth visiting and a hotel worth staying on your next trip to Mykonos.

Great location. Immaculate room. Walking distance to everything in town. It overlooks the windmills. Just a few minute walk to the windmills. One block from the bus stop to take you to all the best south shore beaches. The best breakfast in Greece. Very nice pool and poolside bar. Shuttle pick-up from the ferry was very easy and convenient. You'll love this hotel.

I enjoyed the hotel very much. location was excellent. had a beautiful view of the sea from the bedroom, and hotel had very good facilities at the pool. the one area the hotel could improve on would be more comfortable beds/mattresses, but I definitely would not hesitate to stay there again.

This is the second time I've stayed at the hotel and I can't fault it. Nice rooms, great view, awesome pool. Loved it!

I traveled with my mother to visit for 4 days Myknos Island. The hotel is Well located, the staff is friendly especially the person making the airport transfers. Delicious breakfast buffet. The shower had problems in the evacuation of water (drainage). Lacking only clean under the beds, but the rest all very good It would be ideal to have more options in English tv. as one of history or music videos. 99% of the channels was in Greek: 0 (. I was delighted with the photos of the hotel before booking and happily the photographs represent the perfect beauty of the hotel.

Amazing cute little hotel with all modern cons. if you get a room with a sea view you will never leave the hotel room to watch the sunsets. Perfect location too.

This hotel was the BEST CHOICE in our trip to Greece. AMAZING location very close to the center of Mykonos and near all places to rent either a car/moto. The staff is very friendly and they are always trying to help you. Breakfast is complete with natural orange juice and greek yogurt! The room was very good with wi-fi in the room and very nice view. All-in-all, an AMAZING DEAL for a VERY GOOD PRICE! Would certainly come back!

I would stay again in a heart-beat. I loved that it was in the heart of the town (but just far enough from the business to be quiet at night). The pool and view of the ocean was phenomenal. The breakfast - OMG - they have an orange press for fresh squeezed! Everyone was extremely helpful (they called to arrange ferry booking for me). I thought for me (a very picky budget traveller who values a spectacular view, free wonderful breakfast, free wifi for my iPad and helpful accommodating staff) - this was hard to top. Not sure why it only has 3 stars.

I can't imagine a better experience in Mykonos. The hotel is 5 minutes from the airport. They offer a free shuttle to and from the airport. It's within walking distance to any destination in the village itself. You can rent a scooter or 4x4 200 meters away. The breakfast buffet is superb. And each room has a view of the sea to boot.

Very comfortable, close to town and very good value

I just got back from my vacation to Greece and I'm delighted about my stay at Poseidon Hotel - Suites. The hotel is located in the heart of Mykonos Town (Hora) and is about a 10 minute drive from the small local airport. They offer complimentary transport to and from the airport. The hotel territory is terrific! It's got that fabulous look of a resort with almost all rooms offering a see view. In the evenings, the territory is romantically lit. Despite its proximity to the hora, the atmosphere was serene. The hotel personnel were very courteous. My room had a view overlooking the Aegean and a glimpse of the traditional windmills of Mykonos as well. The balcony would be a great place to have a quiet drink and relish the sunset. The room was very clean and I slept like a log during my 3 night stay. Breakfast was delicious and sumptuous. They offer a great variety including hot and cold dishes. Their yogurt is something that one should not miss! There was fresh as well as dried fruit, pastries and dessert every morning. The hotel is conveniently located not very far from many beaches. You could actually see the Megali Ammos from the hotel's territory and could walk to the beach. To get to the other popular beaches I rented a moped. In the evenings, I could just walk down to the windmills or Little Venice and get lost in the narrow brilliantly lit streets of the hora. I do plan to return to Mykonos and I will definitely looks for a room in this hotel.

This hotel is perfect. A 2 minute walk to the main part of town. It over looks the ocean.The staff we very helpful.They offer a free shuttle pick up from the port. The breakfast had bacon, eggs, pancakes & so much more. Fresh OJ every morning. The rooms were very large with duvets & +++ clean with a tub shower so we never soaked the floor once. The pool was wonderful. This hotel is perfect. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

Great location. Easy walking distance to town. Terrific hotel, clean, spacious rooms, beautiful balcony with view of sea and windmills, friendly and helpful staff, great pool and bar area. Full breakfast and transport to/from the airport/pots was a huge bonus. Very satisfied. Would highly recommend.

The staff at the hotel were very kind and helpful with rides to the ports and help with any questions we had. We had a sea view with a 3 minute walk to the beach. I peeked at other hotels while we were there and I have to say I felt super blessed with ours. The windmills are right behind the hotel, the location to walk around the Mykonos village is super close. ATV rentals are the thing to do to see other close parts of the island. The pool was awesome. The breakfast was to die for! So lucky to get so spoiled! I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat!

I found Poseidon Hotel-Suites to be better than most hotels I have stayed in Europe (in this price range). There are no stairs, so be prepared to carry bags up/down some stairs. The hotel is more like a resort in that you are not in a main building. And this is good because as you walk to your room, you see views of Mykonos and the pool (which is gorgeous). We had breakfast included with our room. It was simple, but delicious. We had a large bed (queen), and my sister and her husband had two twin beds that were pushed together. Our bed was somewhat firm (we have a pillow top bed at home, so this was slightly uncomfortable for us), so if you like that, then it was good. There are plenty of pillows and extra blankets in the room too. There is a TV, small fridge, AC, and telephone in the room. No clock/alarm clock. The bathroom was a nice size. I would stay at this hotel again.

Everything is great - all I can say is I've been going every year and always back to the Poseidon - great location, lovely pool area, great breakfast and friendly staff. Lots of cats which we love!!! Highly recommended

This is a jewel of a hotel for the price. Location close to town, port, and bus, without the noise ot town. Our room had ocean facing patio - beautiful. Breakfast excellent and hotel staff extremely accommodating. Pool area large and lovely. Highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is clean, well maintained with helpful staff. They provided a free pick up and drop off service to the port and airport. We emailed them ahead of our arrival to advise of our ferry arrival time and they were there to at the port to pick us up. They have a nice swimming pool and bar, and 3 minute walk to bus stop for busses to all the main beaches. Also many car/bike rental places nearby. The town itself is only 5 - 10 minute walk away - Far enough away that it's not subject to noise from late night clubs/bars.

We were surprised and impressed to find that Poseidon Hotel-Suites was well located on the edge of Mykonos, and that the pool/bar area was beautiful. While we were there in peak season, and it was positively infested with Australians in their 20's, dancing on the balconies, this made for a festive atmosphere and did not detract from our relaxing stay by the pool. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful, arranging port and airport transfers, and the food was reasonable and delicious. A short walk to the main streets of Mykonos, but far enough away to escape, and only a 1 minute walk to a small beach where you can swim. This suited our needs perfectly.

Very good location only few minutes to the windmills, we had a suite with sea and poll views. Been holiday more than 2 weeks , the king bed is a big bonus for us! Breakfast is great too overall highly recommended. Service, comfort and location are all in this hotel.

Great location, good service, perfect place to stay - rent a scooter

We found the breakfast good but with caveats (Tang instead of OJ, really?) and the bathroom had been renovated, the view great. However, we found the staff generally unhelpful. We wanted to go to Delos and basically got little help with infrmation even after pressing them to help us. We asked if boats were ever cancelled because of weather and got a snotty "of course they will run." then we missed the excursion and the same woman told us that only the 10am boat went out that day due to weather (we had intended to do the 11am but couldn't). The hotel could mention important details like how many boats have been going out, how many deiayed, times, etc, or even post this info! The hotel took plenty of time to give us a card to some coffee shop and carefully explain we'd get 10% off with it. So what? I'm sure they get a nice commission from the company so they found this worth conveying. But not Delos info. Ridiculous. Also, the staff were just generally rude. No smiles, always seeming mildly or really annoyed, no carrying of luggage (but still looking for a tip for showing the room). However, the location is great and the hotel is nice. Best shower in Greece. Bed OK. Had a nice safe. Good AC and good breezes.

Great location. Easy walking distance to town, Bus Stop 1, mini mart and 2 reasonably priced local eating places. Terrific hotel, clean, spacious room (with refrigerator but no coffee pot) , balcony with view of Sea and back of windmills, friendly and helpful staff, great pool and bar area with good menu, full breakfast, free transport from port and to airport. Very satisfied. Recommend.
