Crowne Plaza Liverpool - John Lennon Airport - ליברפול

Excellent with family and kids ! Lots of space around the hotel to stroll around...weather was kind dung the stay...few old aircraft parked in the backyard...certainly an interest for Kids !

We were very pleased with the hotel. The staff were helpful, the room was clean and in keeping with the art deco style of the hotel. The food in the restaurant was good - no complaints with either the evening meal or breakfast. The art deco style of the hotel made for a very pleasant stay.

Me an my Boyfriend have stayed here before because we like the hotel,,staff are friendly an the Rooms are lovely, so nice in fact i have already booked another 2 dates to stay again.

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the last few years,and find it is always a safe bet for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The rooms are very nice,the beds are some of the best we have had in any hotel, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Will continue to return.

I am sorry to say that the experience did not match expectation. The staff were helpful and efficient in both the restaurant and reception but the queue to check in and check out were unacceptable.The hotel room was starting to look tired and the lift had a very sour / damp smell. The number of TV channels was pathetic in this day and age - I did not get to see anything I had planned to watch as they were unavailable. The charge for Internet access - especuially given that it was sporadic is a scandal.

We enjoyed our stay very much - as we have on several other occasions. The staff were most helpful and very friendly.

i thought it was well worth the travelling :) the receptionist gave us a warm welcome and the room was lovely, even the atomosphere of the bar was lovely and overall a brilliant place to stay

The building is a wonderful art deco experience. Rooms very comfortable and well appointed. The food of good standard. But we had a few minor issues that we needed help to resolve, but customer service was seriously lacking. Those in positions who should be trained in customer service we found to be rude and simply said "here is the general manager's details, you must contact him on Monday as there is nothing I can do". Very poor and such as shame as it ruined our stay.

Drinks at the bar were very expensive. Only one restaurant in walking distance. But overall reasonably priced and quite nice room.

Room very clean and comfortable. End room so bathroom a bit cold but I loved the hotel and would stay again.

Recent stay for 2 nights. Excellent location just a few minutes from John Lennon Liverpool Airport. Close proximity to shopping centre, McDonalds, Pizza Hut & the fab Damon's restaurant. Efficient friendly service. Would highly recommend Crowne Plaza.

A pleasant enough airport hotel!

We stayed in this hotel as it was close by to where friends live. We arrived 2 hours before check in time but were still able to get into our room straight away which was a massive help. For people who aren't local, the easiest way to get into town is by car but a taxi ride isn't too expensive. Loved our room and the service. A couple of down sides were: very slightly shabby in the bathroom (but only on close inspection), the bed was a small double which is unusual in hotel rooms and lastly the drinks at the bar are very expensive. Overall really pleased with the stay and would go back again.

we enjoyed our short stay (our 3rd). we love the style of the hotel, the food was good and the executive room was excellent. The mint in the room is nice but one each would be better.

Good business hotel. No complaints.

Booked hotel as couldn't get one in town. Very good bus service made transport easy. Use of leisure facility next door was a real bonus. The outside pool was heated and lovely and the inside one wasn't overcrowded.Would book again particularly if flying out from Liverpool.

Well appointed hotel with good staff. Worth upgrading to the private lounge option

We went for a few quiet nights away and got what what we wanted. Hotel was peaceful and enjoyable even though it is pretty busy. Located close to a shopping centre with fast food outlets and also close to a wonderful restaurant called Damons it porved to be a really excellent location

Thoroughly enjoyed stay and facilities at sports centre next door

PROS: Convenience factor to the airport was great as we arrived at 7pm from Belfast and had a 6.30am flight the next morning to Tallinn. Bathroom was good. CONS: There was a wedding going on when we arrived and we were placed in room 001, which is on the ground floor, next to te lobby. We heard conversations and a lot of noise from folks standing outside our window, well past 1am. You could also hear conversations from the guests in neighboring rooms. There was no remote in the room for the tv and it didn't work without it. Had to call front desk and one was delivered in a few minutes. Tv had color issues. Charged for Internet. Options were 1 hour for £4.95 or 24 hours for £12.95. Slow speed. I was charged for renting a movie at check-out when I didn't order one. Discussed that with Reception and they said they would fix it. Haven't received my bill via email yet (4days after).

i didn't find the staff very helpful which was disappointing but the room was clean and tidy. The use of the gym facilities was excellent and we would most likely stay again if we were flying from Liverpool.

The room was clean and the service very good. Dinner was a little late and a free plate of bread and olives was supplied. The hotel is easy to acccess from the motorways into Liverpool and the centre of town is an easy run.

Great location for visiting the numerous sites and attractions of Liverpool / Merseyside whilst being on the outskirts of the city itself. Fabulous building which is immaculately maintained being the old LiverpoolAirport. Staff very pleasant. Only complaint is that you have to pay for Internet service so we found ourselves walking over to Macdonalds on the retail park opposite where it is FREE! If you plan to spend most of your trip in Livedpool City Centre be aware that you would need some transport. Luckily taxis and public transport are readily available.

very poor. Hotel was freezing as no heating or hot water

ATTENDING A FAMILY FUNERAL WE ORIGINALLY CHOSE THIS HOTEL AS MY MUM AND DAD FIRST MET AT THE OLD LIVERPOOL AIRPORT. DAD USED TO FLY RAPIDES AND THERE IS A REPLICA PARKED IN FRONT. THE SURPRISE WAS HOW BEAUTIFULLY THE BUILDING AND ANNEXES HAVE BEEN ADAPTED AND HOW FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL EVERYBODY WAS. MUM AND DAD ARE 84 AND 89 RESPECTIVELY AND REALLY APPRECIATED THE AMBIENCE AND STAR TREATMENT

Fantastic hotel. Stayed with two younger children and was very pleased with the family room. The leisure centre next door was great. The kids had a great time in the pool. There is a retail park across the way which includes a couple of fast food places. Its about 15min drive into the centre of Liverpool. I would highly recommend this hotel. Everyone was so friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

Nice looking hotel due to 1930s history of the building. Service was hit and miss; one of the breakfast waitresses clearly did not enjoy her job which reflects on whole service experience. On final day I was overcharged, 7 meals instead of 4, which does happen I suppose but glad I checked. Overall, comfortable but could have been better and I went elsewhere the following week as I was in the area for work for a while.

Excellent choice for out of town hotel. Pity the have extra charges for Parking & Internet for guests

Hotel room spotless and very comfortable. Bar staff very helpful and friendly. HOWEVER the Hotel reception staff not at all welcoming, could not really be bothered with serving us. No interest in whether we had a good journey or whether we had a good stay neither did they show the slightest interest in the customers of the Hotel whatsoever.

From the moment I arrived I was treated with the best customer service I have received for a long time (and I stay in alot of hotels for work). I had an injurry on my leg and the receptionist looked after me extremely well. The hotel was very clean and comfortable with good food, wifi and great ocation to the airport or business park. I would like to thank the reception team (especially D) for all of their help. I will definately be staying again!

The stand-out feature of this hotel is that it is a conversion of the 1930s Liverpool Airport terminal building. A new addition has been sympathetically added and the public spaces are decorated in the art-deco style with posters and photos from the era before air travel was affordable to all. There were a few minor hiccups with our stay. There was no TV remote control in our room, the heating was off (it was below zero outside) and the receptionist didn't tell us we needed to take towels with us to use the free sports facilities next door. But as a quiet, comfortable and slightly different place to stay, it was fine.

I booked the room for visiting dance perfomers, they were extremely impressed with the room and loved the big comfy beds. Staff were polite and friendly. I was proud that this represented a positive image of Liverpool. Just a bit of confusion identifying the name on the booking at reception! It was sorted but felt a bit foolish in front of my guests.

i recently stayed at the crowne plaza john lennon airport. it was just an overnight stay for a shopping trip. we arrived late at night and the receptionist was really helpful and quick at checking us in. wen we got to our room it was spotless and possibly one of the most comfiest beds i have slept in. the next day we asked could they mind our bags after we were checked out. they were more than happy to do so for us. And the food in the hotel was lovely too. Couldnt fault it at all.

really enjoyed our nights stay,loved the style and atmoshere and will stay again.

The residents bar is non existent and bar staff decide what hours they want to open at. The choice of drinks at the bar is very poor. They don't even stock coke or fizzy Orange or white lemonade. The choice of drinks you can order on room service is non existent It's beer only. The only WiFi at the hotel must be paid for any It's over £12 a day every hotel I've ever stayed in over complimentary WiFi and newspapers which they offered neither. I won't be staying here again

Arrived at airport to find the shuttle they advertised when we booked was no longer supplied so we had additional cab fares from (and back to - following morning) the airport. However, the check-in clerk said they would comp us breakfast to make up for the cab cost (6 GBP each way). When we got to the room we found the phone didn't work. Two trips back to reception they finally decide that the phone/wiring was broken but they would have someone in at 0900 the following morning to fix it. Not much use to us as we were needing a wake-up call to catch an early flight. "Sorry - nothing I can do about it." Managed to get down for the breakfast. Was pretty good. However, wasn't worth the 15 GBP (each) that was added to out bill for it. Turns out the desk clerk doesn't have the authority to comp breakfast. Couldn't wait to get out of there. Avoid unless you have a masochistic streak.

We had a one night stay in an executive room and found it to be very comfortable, a very large and soft bed and most of the facilities you would expect for this standard. The bathroom was small but abdicate, the bath been a descent size. The hotel its self has a nice retro feel about it and is enhanced by the décor and the old planes outside. I would recommend that the office door at reception is kept close as it detracts from your arrival first impression, I would decently stay at this hotel again, thanks PA.

Just need to take out the mould in the shower box. OK overall...

Overnight Stay 24.06.2011 Rooms 261 and 263 Clearly choose the wrong night as there were 2 school Proms being held at the hotel. The 'smoking area' was directly under our bedroom window. Whilst the students were overall well behaved the noise level was high with loud talking, shouting and screaming which continued until midnight. . We did request a room changes but were informed this was not possible. Room 261 smelt very musty and had a damp patch in the ceiling above the bathroom door. We deduced that the smell was coming from the air conditioning as the higher it waas turned up the worse the smell got. With the windows open it was acceptable but the noise from the school Prom meant that the window neeed to be kept closed. If cinsidering a stay I would advice the you ask if there will be any major events in the hotel that could affect your quality of stay.

My ONLY complaint was they had no shuttle to the airport.

The Crowne Plaza John Lennon is a good base if you want to explore what Liverpool has to offer. Much more reasonable in price than the city centre hotels and only 15 mins away by car. We found parking in the city very easy and enjoyed having a quit hotel to return to in the evening. Use of the adjacent David Lloyd Health Club was a bonus. The staff were warm and helpful and the hotel pleasant and clean. I'd go again!

Absolutely beautiful decor in this hotel - 1930s style Art Deco everywhere and the breakfast room done out in the style of a 1930s cruise ship interior! Easily the most gorgeous hotel I've ever stayed in, the attention to detail is marvelous. A retail park is literally over the road, and the bus stop into city centre is right outside, so location is also excellent. Our room was massive, and spotlessly clean (with a bathroom to die for!), and the staff were just wonderful - every person smiling, happy, friendly and helpful, obviously consciously contributing to an overall amazing experience for their guests. I've stayed in some very basic hotels in Liverpool before (while visiting my parents) but in future I will spend a bit more to stay in this place every time - I cannot recommend it highly enough to everyone!
