Hampton Inn Pine Grove - פיין גרוב

Overall a nice stay, but had some things that we disliked... The pool was a little chilly but similar to other places... There were no benches or places to sit outside which should be available for smokers... Our tv cable was very bad and we had to play with the wires to get a good picture and the microwave in our room was low voltage and would not even pop our popcorn...

Everything was great except for 1 giant inconvenence.........the minfridge made a loud knocking sound all night. I did not get much sleep. I had a business meeting at 7am and needless to say....I was tired. Otherwise, the stay was fine.

I checked out leaving a jacket in the closet. When I phoned later that day (3/9/13), the person who answered (front desk?) quickly located my jacket in the lost and found area, and tagged it for my pickup the following week. I appreciate the attention to details.

Comfortable stay. explanation of thermostat on arrival (adjust digital thermostat on wall, not heater by window), cookies; popcorn chicken and macaroni and cheese were still available at 6:30 when I checked in.

Very comfortable after a day of driving. Will stay again and again. Thank you.

Staff was hit or miss, nice breakfast options

I planned this trip primarily to get away to write my graduate school final paper. I've had good previous experience with the Hampton so figured it was a safe bet to choose it again. This couldn't have been any more perfect!!!! Service was wonderful, and all people encountered were so pleasant. The hotel & surroundings were so quiet, making it a great environment to do what I needed to do. The convenience of the diner across the street was absolutely great, very hospitable. The quality of the daily complimentary breakfast made it REALLY easy to get out of bed each morning! I had the most rewarding relaxing experience and would return here or to any other Hampton as a first choice for lodging in the future!

We stayed here on our trip to Hershey and it was perfect!

Staff were very friendly. Room clean and tidy, they also had enough towels for everyone to shower which is a great point, especially with children. Would have loved to have a hot tub in the pool area but the swimming pool for the children was just right. The breakfast was a surprise with hot foods as well as contintental breakfast. There were plenty of choices. We were all happy.

We stayed at this place as an affordable alternative to the hotels that are closer to Hershey and are comparable offerings for much higher prices. We found the drive back and forth to/from Hershey to be very doable and worth the savings for 3 days just before July 4. It seems to be a very new hotel and for the most part, we thought all aspects were very good. However, they need to warm up the pool--our kids couldn't take the cold and these are kids who are normally ok in a pool that adults would consider too cold. This place is in a rural backwater location so it's very quiet to sleep at night which is good but the pickings are slim as far as restaurants on the other hand. The diner across the street looked good, though we didn't eat there. The front desk recommended O'Niell's in town but when we got there it was full and there was a wait for a table so we gave up and opted to eat at Hershey's instead.

The staff were incredibly friendly. They were polite and always had a smile. I felt as if they were talking to me and not at me. The food variety was great and included 3 hot items, fresh waffles, various pastries, fruits, bagels, toast, etc. I would stay here again!

This was a clean, neat hotel, run by friendly staff with a smile on their face. It was a pleasure to stay here. The extra perks of Free Internet and Free morning breakfast make it a great place to stay. It's about 30 mins away from Hershey park, but its worth it.

The rooms are what you would expect at a Hampton Inn. He lobby area and 1st floor hallway was under renovation with new flooring and it shows it everywhere. Tiles, tools and dust everywhere. Tile spacers sticking out of the tiles as you step off the elevator. Not really up to the Hampton standard that I'm used to seeing. Putting a hand written (scribbled) sign saying excuse our renovation, Management, really doesn't cut it.

Hotel lobby decorated festively for Christmas and very pretty. Room was a King non-smoking on the 2nd floor. Getting off the elevator, the 2nd floor smelled like someone may have been smoking up there. Not a pleasant smell. The room itself was very clean. Nice flat-screen TV. Bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was good. The maple smoke sausage was delicious! Would stay there again!

The hotel is right off the highway, check inn was a breeze. Desk is open all night if you need anything. Room was nice. Bed was comfortable, There is a diner right across the street if your not interested in the hotels breakfast, or you get up too late. Also a few gas stations(one across the street) , and a McDonalds right up the street. Didnt explore the area too much, but did read in a review that there is a local grocery store. We brought our own supplies from home. Overall the Pine Grove Hampton inn was very nice and was very happy there was a fridge, microwave, and one cup coffee maker. I brought my own coffee pods and creamer, as I like my coffee strong and with cream. Not the powdered stuff, and I didn't have to get dressed and go downstairs and push through ppl. To get a cup of coffee. Thats just me.

This hotel is in very good condition, very clean and well kept. The location leaves a bit to be desired, not really close to any attractions. Approx 27 miles to Hershey and the Hollywood Cascino. The only complaint I have is that the beds are to soft and my back was sore both mornings.

This hotel was immaculate and comfortable. All furnishings are brand new and nicely appointed. We enjoyed the breakfast both mornings we were there. Someone from the hotel staff stayed in the breakfast area to constantly replenish the food and help guests makes waffles, etc. Staff was very friendly, helpful and polite. Although the hotel is about 20 miles from Hershey Park, the ride is all interstate and very quick - not bothersome at all. The area the hotel is located in is peaceful and quiet with an all night diner across the street and a DQ right there also. I would definitely return to this hotel.

The initial impression of the hotel is "Wow, this is really nice. They have stuff together." But that came to an end when our room was not cleaned by staff for two days. They did move us the last night of our stay (2 night stay). When asked about amenities in the brochure provided, they had no idea what I was talking about. It looks nice but the staff definitely needs to be held accountable for their work and knowledge of the business.

Everyone, from housekeeping to hostesses and front desk personnel was friendly and helpful! The beds were some of the best i've found in a hotel. I'd definitely recommend and would stay there again.

staff was very friendlly. breakfast was good. comfortable rooms. only thing would recommend is ventilation in bathroom

My one week stay with Hampton Inn Pine Grove was great ! The staff were VERY friendly and accomodating. The breakfast was something I enjoyed very much. I also liked the 'office' room for guests to use and access internet because I did not bring my laptop. That was great. The room was very clean and comfortable. I wish I could have taken more time to use the pool because hardly anyone entered it. The only thing I was slightly disappointed in was the TV service -- it seemed rather basic and limited compared to what I have at home. Otherwise, my stay was great and I would definitely recommend staying with Hampton Inn. If I venture that way again - I will call them first.

This hotel was easy to find and lived up to the Hampton Inn Standard. Nothing really around the inn as it is just a stop off I-81 but a nice place on a cold night. Breakfast was very good as usual with HI

This was a great Hotel to stay out. People were very nice. Hotel was very clean. We stayed here evern though it was 35 minutes from our place of visit. We would stay here again. Thanks, A++++

This hotel is located right off of I-81 and is easy to get to. No problems of any kind with the stay. The hotel is in nice condition, our room was spacious, and all went smoothly.

The hotel was beautiful and clean. One disadvantage (which might be an advantage for people hoping for this) was that it was in a very tiny town. We were worried when the desk attendant informed us that the closest Wal-Mart of Giant was about a half an hour away. Luckily, the had an adorable and surprisingly large grocery store called Berger's just 10 minutes away. It was easy to find and had a rather huge selection for a small-town grocer. Our stay was peaceful and relaxing.

The hotel at first glance is very nice,clean and update. Our room was clean.the staff is friendly.I did feel a little isolated and farther from the parks then I wanted to be,not the hotels fault. The hotel had a faint odor of what I would say was sewer or low tide in the 2 rooms we had.Steer clear of the eggs at breakfast i think they were powdered eggs.The waffles were great! overall you get what you pay for so I wasn't expecting the plaza.Next time i will try to get closer to the action and upgrade a little. For the money it was ok.

The Hampton Inn in Pine Grove was, as usual for a Hampton, a comfortable, quality hotel. This location was good for my needs, near my business interests. The stay was an overnight, and it was a restful stay. Their computer was offline when I was checking out, so I didn't get a final bill slipped under my door as usual. It was faxed to my home before I got home.

Hotel appears newer construction, well layed out and very family friendly. Staff was responsive and helpful. Breakfast buffet standard but ample and well tended. Location is right off exit of I81. Only downside was the distance from Hershey PA which was our reason for the visit. While the hotel is approx 20 mile from Hershey - trip was quick and easy.
