MARINER RESORT - אוגונקוויט

Hotel and room were very welcoming. the grounds were need and very pretty seasonal decorations. the only thing I might suggest is to bring the bedspreads and drapes up to date, made the room appear dark and old. We didn't need a full size fridge but for anyone traveling and staying more than a couple nights it is a nice benifit. Breakfast was great, many choices.Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Located on route 1. This is a simple clean motel that is budget friendly. The staff at the reception are very friendly and they are quick to answer to our needs.

This is one of the most depressing hotels I've ever stayed at: shabby and dirty looking; made us afraid to put anything down on the carpet or to lie down on the bed. The front panel of the air conditioner was hanging from a single corner. The bathroom exhaust was deafening. The navy blue (nearly black) carpeting was definitely suspicious. The furniture looked like rejects from a college dorm. On the bright side, the beds, after we had stripped them and checked all the seams for evidence of bed bugs, proved to be quite comfortable, and the air conditioner, which could only be reached by climbing on a chair, worked quietly and well once the front panel had been put right.

Everything about this motel was excellent. We were there before the tourist season started so we knew not to expect all the activities in the area to be open. We used the indoor pool twice which was clean and well heated, the outdoor whirlpool was also clean and heated perfectly. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The staff friendly and helpful. The rooms very clean and well stocked with towels, etc. The grounds were obviously well cared for and witnessed work being done to get ready for the season. The motel is within walking distance of town and the beaches if you are a regular walker. We would definitely return, especially to go to the beautiful beaches.

It is a very nice place to stay. My husband and I were very comfortable and would stay there again in a heartbeat. Nice area too.

We usually stay near Ogunquit Maine center but at peak season the prices were very high. The Mariner is a mile north and very affordable. It has a great view of the Ogunquit river and fine pools, etc. Best of all it's second generation owners on site.
