Suites on South Beach - מיאמי ביץ'

My friend and I arrived late. We stayed two nights. The room was spacious and clean, though there isn't a daily clean up as part of the room. The room had quite a large fridge so if you're looking to saving money this is a great amenity. I liked the proximity to the beach, Lincoln Road and Espanola Way. And we payed only $200 a night so I thought it was pretty reasonable considering the prices on South Beach. Overall, nice place and good value.

I would stay here again in a heartbeat! The staff was extremely accomodating. The rooms are perfect: clean, large, updated and comfortable. The hotel was so close to the beach and the best of the nightlife.

The room was huge. It had plenty of room and was overall comfortable, clean, and close to everything. My biggest issue was that they had lights on in the courtyard that made it look like it was early morning the entire night. Too much light for me but if that doesn't bother you then I'd recommend this place for the price. Though I wouldn't take my wife there.

After staying in 3 very nice 4 star Radisson and Marriott hotels on our holiday I was concerned that this would ruin our experience on the last night. I had read lots of mixed reviews and on arrival thought what have I booked here when I met the tattooed men at the front desk who looked like they would be more at home in a garage! However they were very good and so was our room (4) I knew it was a motel style building and that I would need a mask over my eyes at night as it doesn't have blackout blinds. I would happily book again.

Good hotel for the price and neighborhood. Easy walk to beach. Clean and modern rooms.

Noisy

Great Location, one block from Ocean Drive and beach. Lot's to see and do in south beach. Staff friendly and helpful.

The hotel sucked! Back door opened to garbage cans in alley. Noisy all night. Had to wait half an hour to check out. Girl was at breakfast.

Great location! Close to all...in walking distance. Very clean and quiet. Look fwd to staying here again. Thumbs up!!!

I was very happy with my stay. Next time I visit Miami I will definitely be booking with Suites on South Beach again!!

i booked for double bed, but they gave me only one full bed :( . The room was very small, only the refrigerator looks big. Disappointed !

Suites is spacious and close to everything in South Beach. The kitchenette is convenient and the extra closet space was helpful when sharing a room with 3 other adults. Don't expect great views or quite AC...but considering the cost of South Beach, Suites is a bargain. The bathrooms were clean and fully functional and the staff was helpful.

Very clean. I had a good rate and it was convenient to cheap parking and the beach. Would definitely return!

The hotel itself is in a convenient location. While staying here there was no need for a car because everything was located within the facility...clubs, beach, & food. The front desk staff was really friendly & helpful; & so was the cleaning staff but they chose the most annoying time to start cleaning and making loud noise right outside your window. The walls of the hotel were very thin, noises of people walking on the floor above you can be heard at all times of the day. Also I felt the noise level was at the loudest between 4 & 5am when the clubs let out, all you could hear was doors slamming and people laughing & talking really loudly.

Excellent stay at the hotel. The representatives were very accommodating and helpful. The location is a walk away from the beach, restaurants, shops, clubs. The fact that it has a kitchenette was a plus since we were travelling with a baby. All in all a good experience and I would stay here again.

the staff are attentive, the room was clean and well wide. For those going to work as was my case, need desk to be able to write or use the notebook. That the room has enough space.

The room and location were great, but the toliet was broke and it took a day to fix it. The help desk said they could not guarantee the room category based on my reservation from Hotels.com. To save face they offered me a room upgrade which turned to be the deluxe suite. I would definitely stay there again.

Disappointing on all levels television not working Internet not working telephone not working had to change rooms 3 times waited 1hour 20 minutes for car when we checked out after being told 10 minutes hotel put $60.00 hold on credit card for 3 days Suite it was not no sitting Area but it did have kitchenette area balcony had no chairs and no room for chairs . On the whole very disappointing

Impossible to take a nap durning the day.. Every time a door closes everyone can hear it. At night it's fine, which is what we needed.

Great location .

Nice location, but the rooms are very noisy, you can hear every thing thats going on outside. Also no late check out option, I had to pay one full night price for few hours extra since my flight was at 8 pm.

Stay here if you want to be woken by groups of armed New Jersey mafia dons at 5am, destroying hotel and bringing in 50 or more people. Only one person working at the hotel during the night, would not call police or take any action. Terrifying!

Overall a great stay. It was pretty loud, but that's what you get when you stay in South Beach (especially with a bachelor party above you!) Stayed for 2 nights and had no complaints. Previous reviews of air conditioning - we were able to down ours off or change the temperature, so no problems there. We had the room right next to the stairs and the office, so it was pretty loud and bright, but we kind of expected that with the location of the hotel. Close to everything - we walked to the beach and there are a ton of places to eat within a few blocks.

My wife and I spent one night at the hotel and we very much enjoyed our stay.The rooms were well appointed,clean and spacious.The staff were super friendly and helpful.Its is in a great location and will recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

Hotels location was wonderful, near everything that you needed in Sobe. Also if you have a rental car, there is good public parking lot almost near by. So you don´t need valet parking. And then the bad things in rooms: the walls are so thin, that you can hear everything from your neigbours room. Toilet was clean, but the shower was a joke. If there came water the amount of it was so small, that i washed my hair for 20 minutes. Over all everyhting worked!

For the price and area the hotel was fine for us. We were there to party so we didn't stay in the room too long. It is not fancy or anything but it is close to the beach, Sobe Live, Mansion, and Cameo nightclub and some good places to eat 24 hours. A downside is that we went on an unusually cold few days and they did not have any heaters in the room but they did bring us extra blankets.

Really good size apartment with good facitilities. Block away from Ocean Drive.

Unless you like it when the airco is constantly blowing over your bed, this is a great place to stay. The airconditioner is placed direct beside the bed next to the window, so it kept me awake during the night. The room is quiet big, and the airco rather small, so it has to work constantly to cool the room. I do'nt understand why they put the airco direct next to the bed. It's irritating! Above the door is a better place. If you are planning to stay here bring also your own curtains! There are no curtains, only blinds. The door is made of milky white glass, so it lets thru a lot of light. (Also at night) Location is great! Just 1 block away from beach and the restaurants. It's a quiet place to stay, there are no bars or other noisemakers in the area. The room was clean and there is also a small kitchen with fridge and microwave. And there is a safe, so you van store your personal stuff in there. So, if you don't mind to blow away by the airco and wake up early because of the light, it's a great place to stay.

The location on Collins is great. Two blocks from the beach and two from Espaniola Way. The valet cost is the same as the 24/day price at the public garage across the street and you can bring the car in and out. The web site info needs to be updated since there is no newspaper available and no full refrigerator in most rooms. When we complained about the frig., they were able to move us immediately to another room. This might have been because we came in on a Monday and left on Thursday. The new room was interesting - a handicapped room with waist-height light switches and an open bathroom with one half as the shower and the other with a toilet and a freestanding sink. Since there was no place to put any cosmetics in the bathroom, the ironing board was brought in and placed between sink and toilet and covered with a towel. It served very well, but a small table would have been thoughtful as would a box of kleenex. Somehow kleenex is something we'd come to expect. The room was quiet enough during the day and the halls were washed down each morning, but the hallways resounded with voices at night.

Value for money, very well and newly refurbished, i was pleasantly surprised with this motel. Very clean and close to the beach, within walking distance to all the cool bars on Ocean drive. i'm staying next time I'm in Miami. If your expecting hotel qualities, like a pool, room service etc then this place is not for you, but if you want something clean, refreshing and close to everything for a very reasonable price, then this is your spot !!! try not to stay in room 2 as its right next to the gate, so a bit noisy at night.

Great location close to everything. Friendly helpful staff.Very clean accommodation and also have washing/dryer available for very small fee. Would recommend and return again.

it was a nice hotel and the woman behind the desk whose name escapes me at the moment was a complete doll and very helpful when asked about places to eat , directions and other questions about the area

This hotel was in an ideal location - one road back from noisy, frenetic Ocean Drive, so was easy & close to get to but without all the noise. Only problem I would say we encountered & it had been mentioned in other reviews before we booked was their unbending policy of not being able to occupy the room before 4p.m. we had disembarked from a cruise ship EARLY in the morning & had to spend the day wandering Miami without being able to get into our room. However once we got occupancy we were happy

The hotel is on a great location, the room was very nice and clean but no laundry service and no breakfast n the morning is what i didnt like. if they upgrade that hotel with those two things then i might go back but until then, I rather pay more money on a different hotel.

for a weekend of party, this is a great hotel. very close to all clubs/lounges and extremely close to beach. very clean room and nice staff.

Had a wonderful experience for 2 nights. If A/C in bathroom, it would be heaven. Will definitely come back over and over again, and will highly recommend friends.

My wife liked it (the bathroom was large) so that's saying something. The location is perfect. You're very close to South Beach, Espanola Way, Wolfsonian, and WEAM. I wasn't thrilled with the cleanliness of the room. I saw 'an interesting bug' on the wall. I was really disappointed that every single air conditioning unit leaks in this place. The floor in our room was soaked. We valet parked for $20 a night. The staff were friendly. We booked this place last minute and, considering the location, was priced nicely.

Very friendly at check in. Parking is exspensive, although not their fault. One block off the Ocean. Found rooms to be larger than most in the area. Very clean! Found a spot of mold in the shower, no big deal. I will return, and will recomend this place.

The hotel itself was fine and a great price, but little did we realise we would have rooms on either side filled with incredibly loud, rude Americans. Rather than go out for the night, they had a party all night in both rooms, only leaving the rooms to smoke outside, which was right outside our door. Despite having the aircon on full all night to dull the noise of the constant shouted swearing, they were loud enough to wake up my children, again and again. The reception were apologetic, and spoke to the other guests through the night, but seemed powerless to actually get them to be quiet, and were not prepared to ask them to leave. I would therefore only reccomend this hotel to those people who want to take a risk. The hotel is cheap for four people to stay in one room, with good room facilities for the price. But not if you need to get any sleep!

We read all of the previous reviews. We found the Suites to be as indicated in the pictures. We requested 2 Queens... however none were available so the attendant put us in a room with a fold out futon.. it was perfect... Parking of course anywhere in SoBe is a bear... but there is parking right across the street... had we known around the corner 13th and oceean drive you could part all day for 15... no in and out ... we would have saved a total of 10.oo for our 2 days of valt parking.
