Motel was small but clean and location to restaurants and main route met our needs perfectly

I stayed at the hotel the night before I ran a marathon in Providence, RI. At first it seemed ideal because it was only 10 mins away from the starting line of the race but I was sadly mistaken. The occupants in the room next door had their tv on the highest volume all night and I kept hearing a funny clicking/ banging noise too. When I called the management office about this they told me that they've issues with the occupant in the past. They could also hear the clicking noise over the phone and advised me to secure the room using the dead bolt lock. When management went to the room they told the occupant to someone had complained about the tv volume and they acted as if they were miffed about the complaint. They were able to hear the tv from outside the room. I wish management could've done more especially if they've had issues with her in the past

This motel is very clean and is 10 mins outside of Providence. This is better then some major hotels ive stayed at.

I was a bit apprehensive when I pulled around back to see my room as this is a motel, not hotel, with a room key, not swipe card. However, the room was clean and comfortable, serving its purpose as a night stopover. The decor is a bit outdated, but tasteful. The TV had quite a few channels, even if it wasn't a flat screen. I was very surprised how quiet the rooms were at night, I did not hear one sound even though the motel was crowded and there were guests on either side of me. The breakfast was very meager, just coffee, orange juice, some cereals and English muffins, but I did not expect much. For one night, this location was fine and the price of the room was very economical.

I stay at this hotel a lot. First room I was given that was not wonderful. Had a room right next to Ice machine which meant foot traffic all night. Only other sour note was the shower water never could get hot which was a disappointment.

We had a very restful night.

It's not four-star by any means, but it was clean, comfortable, and located where I needed it to be. Great value for the price.

It is an older hotel, but the room was neat and clean. The staff was friendly. Good value for the money

sink and shower did no drain well,yuk. dont take rm 163. you get what you pay for. people nice.

My husband and I thought it was quite comfortable and very reasonably priced for an overnight stay. The place was very clean and we could find nothing to complain about. I'd stay there again if in the area.

Pros - cost, location, tv, microwave, refrigerator Cons - peeling paint, no space around wash bowl, washbowl fixtures cracked, limited TV channel selection, hard bed, caked dirt on toilet paper holder

very bad service my room was duty for 2 days out 4 that i paid for and the lady that i talk have a very bad attitud when i was requesting for better service

It was fine, very economical. Wish I was put in original room.

For the price it was an excellent place. All of the staff was extremely friendly. It is an older facility, but has a charm to it.

The hotel is definitely not new or updated. But for a night, the price is right for what you get.

Our stay was okay. The beding was clean and smelled good but the curtains and bedspread definitly need ed to be cleaned. Would have liked a hair dryer .

This hotel was good for one night. It was very outdated ,but I guess that's what to expect for the price. The staff was not very friendly.

The hotel is in a convenience location. Close to I-95, shopping mall is near by, but the hotel is not clean at all. The continental breakfast served with cereal, English muffin, coffee, and a gallon of concentrated O.J.

When we got there they had reserved a smoking room with one double bed. When I booked it, I thought a double had 2 double beds plus the fact that it was a smoking room made it really uncomfortable. We wont stay there in the future.

This place reminded me of the places we used to stay when we went on family vacations when I was a kid during the early 1960s ... it needs some remodeling. I have no complaints about the hotel itself, but it seemed to draw a seedy clientele. As a woman traveling alone, I was careful to use the deadbolt, security bar, and to close and lock the windows. I have stayed in a number of places in this price range this summer because of a volunteer project I am working on, but this hotel is one that I will cross off of my list for the future.

The stay was nice and pleasant. I have a 3 year old and she was so happy with the pool! Everything was nice and clean, but I was slightly disappointed there weren't many channels available for my daughter to watch on tv, and the remote for our tv didnt work either.

I rented a (non-smoking) room for one night and when walking in the room, I got hit hard with a heavy smell of cigarette. At first I thought it was probably neighbors smoking next door, which can explain the smell, but the morning after walking back in, I got hit with the smell again. Besides that, everything else was fine. I got to park in front of my room and had a pleasant experience, besides the smell.

Our room was surrounded by fridge producing ice, laundry and backyard with people and cars, so it was really noisy even during the night. WHen we arrived we discovered that bedsheet was dirty! Luckily, we had our own bed linen (we were going to camping later). Towels were small, no hairdryer. Room's decoration is ugly and old-fashioned. The room wasn't cleaned properly - when I moved the arm chair there were candy`s wrapping. The funniest thing was the envelope for tips for room cleaning! It was really displeasingly to stay there.

The hotel manager was nice when I checked in and also helped us with some things to see in the area and also helped us with the bus system. But this room was DIRTY. I had to come in and clean it myself to even be able to stay. The shower curtain had disgusting stains, I just took it down. I had to use a wash cloth to scrub out the dust and dirt from the AC unit. It was so dirty when we turned it on dust chunks were coming out. The hotel was very close to downtown Providence which is why we booked it but I wouldn't ever stay here again or at another Knights Inn.

We enjoyed it. It was close enough for us to go to foxwoods casino for a show. Providence ri for shopping and a movie and Newport ri fir the beach and shops.

We requested a non-smoking room and walked into a foul smelling room with ashtrays on the desk and cigarette burns all over the carpet. The mattresses were well past replacement. Mine sloped toward the floor and felt like cement. The front desk staff was rude and breakfast was pretty pathetic as well with warm milk and stale cereal. Would never stay here again.

Our room was perfectly comfortable, clean, and safe-seeming. It was a great deal for a location reasonably close to the Newport Folk Fest, our reason for the trip. We enjoyed the scenic drive to and from Newport, despite some minor flooding of roadways after a heavy rain - par for the course, I suppose, in a low-lying coastal area. And there were a number of mid-priced, tasty restaurants nearby for late-night snacking after a full day of jammin' out:) We highly recommend this Knights Inn for the budget-minded traveler.

It was an acceptable stay for the price. The only complaint that I have, is that the towels were dingy looking.

Furnishings and room was 1970's looking. Owner should put a little more attention to detail on minor eyesore repairs to make the hotel more aesthetically pleasing, the bed was small and sagged a little in the middle, no hair dryer. I would stay here again if ever I was back in the area! But updates should come soon!

Overall very well-run and maintained for the price.

Typical budget motel, but we did sleep fine. Our room was quiet and the AC was excellent.

This place was great for staying just outside providence with quick access to downtown and highways. It has a nice pool and fantastic stores within half mile. Loads of parking, clean rooms, tidy clean bathroom (a little dated) and good staff. Recommended. Tv reception was not perfect.

We were not happy with our stay.it was supposed to be an overnight stop for us on our way to Boston.We arrived at this place at about 4.30 a.m. as we drove alll the way from Atlanta,GA.We were supposed to be there by 11.30 p.m. but were delayed due to some heavy traffic on our way there. Upon checking in my husband requested them for a late check out at 1p.m. but the manager/owner of the property did not allow so and said that their check out time is 11a.m. and he would give us upto 11.30 a.m. only.We were so tired and only got to sleep for 5hrs. after the 17 hrs of long,hectic drive.The clenliness of the hotel was ok but they did not have any toiletries in the bathroom such as shampoo,lotion etc.The only thing they had was a bar of soap.The towels were worn out and thay were old and gross.Definately would not reccomend this place to anyone.The staff of this place is rude and inconsiderate.We have stayed at other hotels and upon request they do allow you a late check out .Most hotels check out time is 12p.m. but they give you an hour's grace for late check out.Don't go to this place as there are better options nearby..

The personnel were very friendly and helpful...the pool was a nice feature. We enjoyed the morning coffee and english muffins and the overall friendliness of the hotel. The only thing we were not happy about, was the sheets on both the beds did not seem to be clean when we arrived. That was disappointing.
