Homewood Suites by Hilton Bloomington - בלומינגטון

This was a really nice hotel. We had 4 people in the room and it was very comfortable. Very clean and great breakfast.

Very convenient place to stay for a family with young children. The staff there was very nice and friendly. We plan to stay there again when we return.

Great room! I was travelling on business, and by the time I made it to the hotel I was exhausted. It was nice to have such a comfortable room.

We were in town to visit the IU campus. While the hotel is not right in the campus area, it is only a short drive away. Plus it is located right off of 37 near many restaurants and stores. It was a nice escape from the campus life for us old folks for the night!!! The only problem we had was that our key cards would stop working every single time we left the room. I kept them in my purse, nowhere near my cell phone or any magnets, but we had to keep going to the front desk to have them reset. Very annoying. The kitchen was nice, but the coffee and tea didn't come with any sweeteners or creamers. Odd. Other than that it was a great weekend, and I'm certain that we will be back since my son will be there for school for the next 4 years!

Room was very modern, big and clean. I have stayed in other Homewood Suites, but this was by far the nicest one. Lobby area was very nicely decorated and clean. Breakfast was good as well. I highly recommend it. Great choice if you are visiting Indiana University.

Homewood had big room with almost full kitchen - no oven but stove top. Very comfy bed with lots of soft pillows and super light yet warm duvet cover. The bathroom was large with plenty of storage for toiletries and the like. The staff was helpful and courteous. Delicious hot morning buffet breakfast which was included. Also nice clear pool water as well as hot tub. We would recommend and will stay there in the future.

very nice - one of the nicest in Bloomington - room is spacious and nice and very clean - will stay here again!

Our room at Homewood Suites by Hilton Bloomington was conveniently located to all the sites we wanted to visit, particularly to the IU-Nebraska men's basketball game that we attended the night of our stay. Our suite was clean, comfortable, and quiet with all the amenities including a very nice wide screen HDTV in the room. The complimentary breakfast hit the spot and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The next time we visit Bloomington, Homewood Suites by Hilton is definitely the place we will stay overnight.

We had a great time and IU won! Clean, relaxing and we got a great night of sleep.

It was very nice. I felt at home. Very clean and comfortable.

My wife, 2 young grandchildren and I checked into the hotel after having dinner with our daughter & son-in-law, who then went to an I.U. basketball game. The game had an 8:00 p.m. starting time, so the kiddos would be asleep by the time their parents joined us at the hotel. We had booked two hotel rooms, and my wife intended to start out in one room with the baby and I would stay in the second room with the other grandchild. After the game, the parents would go to the room with their sleeping baby, and my wife would join the sleeping three-year old and me in the second room. Surprisingly, the desk clerk would not allow us to check into the second room, nor would he even tell us the second room number, because "the second reservation was not in my name" and he "was just following hotel policy". I explained the plan with our grandchildren, told him that I had made both reservations with hotels.com at the same time, paid for both rooms at the same time and had a copy of the reservation, which included the name of our son-in-law. He said that he would lose his job if he gave me any information on the other reservation and the General Manager, who I asked him to call, would not be able to help me. Bottom line: I spoke with the GM, who reluctantly agreed to permit us to check into the other room, but only after a lengthy and somewhat combative discussion. Very poorly handled by the G.M.

We stayed with our family for just the weekend - it was great! We wished we had the hotel for our annual 2 week vacations! The breakfast was wonderful and the chef was very hospitable. The front-desk staff was very helpful - brought as extra towels in a jiffy. The rooms were clean - oh and the HD screens are great!. The pool is kinda tiny - we were the only ones at the pool at the time so it was fine but I hate to imagine what its like when the place is full.

Great hotel - ample room with a pullout couch which helped with a last minute addition to our group. The hot breakfast was great. Only complaint was the slowness of the check-in. There were 2 people in line ahead of me and waited about 20 minutes.

My daughter is beginning her Junior year at IU. I have stayed at several hotels in the area over the last 2 years. Homewood Suites has been the best and will be my first choice every time. Thank you

We are a family of 6 so we stayed in a suite. It was nice and clean and provided all amenities that we needed. We made the most of the indoor poll and spa while there and both dinner and breakfast are complementary. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

The family enjoyed the pool, spa and gas outdoor grill during our recent Memorial Day weekend stay. Housekeeping and service were excellent and the rate for the three rooms was moderate. The rooms were quiet and the facilty still looks new.

The bed and pillows were comparable to the Westin dream bed! Was incredibly comfortable. Suite was great especially for the money. Will go back again.

Good, management could pay a little more attention to the condition of the walls; black scuffs (maybe mud, didn't check) on wall also fine red splatter in bathroom area on walls and trim, looked like paint. The room was clean and in good repair otherwise. Also disappointed with the limited selection of cable channels, expected better at this price range.

I have nothing but praise for the Homewood Suites in Bloomington, Indiana. All of the above "5-point" ratings EASILY applied to this hotel; but I would like to say a special word for the incredible extra help I received from Sean at the desk, and Jeff the maintainance man. I was out, doing some errands and noticed something wire-like hanging from underneath my van. Being in a strange town on a weekend, I tried to find some auto repair shop where I could have it checked out. I found one online and stopped at the desk to double check it with their knowledge of the area. Sean called the shop, only to find that no one there would check my car for me. He then began calling several auto shops to try to find help for me. No one was available or willing that day. At that point, he called Jeff, the hotel maintainance man, because he had a good amount of auto repair experience. Sean and Jeff crawled under my van (in Feb.!) and found the hanging wire. Jeff discovered the source, re-attached it, capping it so it wouldn't hit anything metal on the frame and short out my electrical system. I drove home the next day (350 miles) without any of the sluggishness that had been occurring with the van. WOW!! SUPER SERVICE from kind people !! (By the way, the survey didn't ask about the hotel breakfast...which was fabulous in atmosphere, quality, and variety. ) What a marvelous place to stay! What great people !

Homewood Suites exceeded my expectations. The rooms were nicer than I expected.

this is it. I snore so we always look for this type of lodging. The kids and wife have slept very comfortably in this hotel. This was our second stay in just over a months time. The fold out sleeper sofa is ok. Typical of any sleeper sofa. The pool is nice and the spa is awesome. Breakfast is so so, there are better ones out there. The staff is very nice and accommodating. We were there for a funeral and I needed an extra 30 minutes to get myself and the kids ready and it was no problem when I asked. We wil stay here again.

The hotel was well staffed and the service was very good. The condition of the hotel was very nice. It is in a great location if you are visiting the area to see the IU campus or go to any games. The only negative on our two days there was that they closed down the breakfast about 20 minutes early one morning. Outside of that it was a very nice stay for myself and my 10 year old daughter.

Our family prefers suites because of my snoring. This was one of the better 1 bedroom suites we have stayed in. The full size fridge was perfect for our thanksgiving food we had for nearby family. Wife and son have allergies so we had to remove the down pillows and comforter, but polyester pillows were available in the room. My wife normally does not sleep well in hotels but in this case, she says she had a great nights sleep. We loved the ceiling fan in the bedroom. As for the breakfast, I would rate it a 2. The fruit was over ripe. The sausage patties were over cooked and crunchy. Eggs were burned a little. On the bright side, the biscuits and gravy were very good.

The only complaint I have is that they did not accommodate my schedule for early check-in. I got there at noon, had to be online, wanting to get in my room, but they waited until 4:00 to let me into my room. I went in and out of the hotel, they knew I was waiting - I was the only one around at that point - you would think they could fulfill a request to have my room cleaned first, but they didn't accommodate for me and it was difficult for me to work in the lobby area.

Nice spot in Bloomington with easy access to HW 37 and the campus. Not many suite style hotel concepts in Bloomington so a great spot if looking for full kitchen and fridge with a sitting room for an extended trip for business or pleasure. The room was extremely clean and well kept and the price was reasonable given the amount of space and the amenities. Was not blown away by the front desk service. Seemed to be confused by my Hotels.com reservation and had to wait a couple times for someone to be at the front desk to talk with. Was hoping for a little more "Hoosier Hospitality" than I got but overall they did the job and were cordial. Would still recommend but expected a little better service for a Hilton property

Homewood Suites are always nice and this one does not disappoint . Has the best breakfast of any hotel I have stayed at. It is a pricey but worth it just like being at home . Super quite and clean great beds good location. Stay here you won't regret it. Happy travels

Everything was very nice. Rooms were large and comfy. Breakfast was very good; much better than HI or Choice hotels. The staff was great, very informative and friendly. Grab some wine and make the trip to Mama Bears Pizza and bring it back watch the game in your room. Hotel is within 40 minutes of a lot of site-seeing places. Hot tub could have been a little warmer with more jets, but hey, we barely had time to enjoy it with all the stuff there was to do around town.

The price is a little high, but the hotel didn't disappoint. The staff was friendly and the room was nice and clean with really soft beds. The breakfast was better than most hotels I have been to. Great stay!

The hotel was very nice. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite and it was well worth it. The location was about 15 minutes from Indiana University. There were not many restaurants close by. There was a Sam's and Walmart close by. It was nice having a full kitchen even though we only used the refrigerator. Beds were very comfortable. The sofa was very hard, not sure how the bed was inside. The rooms were clean. The bathrooms could have been cleaner - there was a gap (a couple inches) between the vanity counter top and the wall and when my brush fell it was disgusting with a mixture of hair and dust on it. They should have had the counter tops go all the way to the wall because it was hard to keep things on top if you have a lot of things to put there. The breakfast was very good, nice variety. They had scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, make your own waffles with toppings, yogurt, fruit, bagels, etc. The staff was very nice. The only problems we had were the slamming of doors from other rooms in the hallway early in the morning :(. I would definitely stay there again because it was so nice.

With a family of 6 it's often hard to find a suitable room where we can all stay together. This hotel was perfect. It was clean, extremely comfortable and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious.

Fantastic value! Rooms are huge! Breakfast buffet is plentiful and hot! Location kinda hard to find if you're not familiar with the area. Would recommend a top floor as can hear footsteps above you. But again, great value this hotel.

This hotel was classy, clean, comfortable and convenient for our family's needs. The suite fit all five of us comfortably and the full size refrig. microwave and kitchenette was convenient for all our snacks and drinks. Family lives in Bloomington and it only took five minutes from this hotel to get to their home. Indiana University is not far away, either, for those who need to visit the campus for any reason.

The room was so nice and comfortable. The only bad part was our neighbors upstairs. They were extremely noisy! They pounded around upstairs till about 2 in the morning.
