"Nice and relaxing hide away..."

The Hotel is situated in a secluded part of Carvoeiro, about a €5 taxi ride (not including tip) to the Town. The Town is small, Kinda like a mini Albufeira. Lovely local restaurants, a few bars, and depending on the time of year - live music on the square between June & July great atmosphere and eclectic mix of people! Well worth the Taxi ride every night! Breakfast is OK at the hotel, I wouldn't recommend eating there at dinner unless necessary, as the hotel is a ghost town at night! Great views, and nice Pools on two levels- surprisingly we were usually the only people around the top pool other than a few locals for a couple of hours a day max. Staff are friendly but have a very laid back attitude. Stayed in a Junior Suite which was comfortable and stylish, but attention to detail was lacking... the air conditioning unit is so far away from the bed it got really stuffy at night. It also looked as if the room had been decorated by the 60 minute make over team - great fixtures but slightly "bodge job" which you don't see in the photos! All in all, you can get some great deals on Hotels.com so for the price you pay, this hotel is well worth the stay for a short break for a couple looking for a relaxing time to rejuvenate! But if your looking for a more upbeat holiday or you have children that need to be entertained I would go somewhere closer with more facilities. I definitely enjoyed my stay and feel rejuvenated from tranquil atmosphere the hotel offered.

We arrived late friday evening and was given a room with broken mirrors of the two double wadrobes. The shower got no screen or curtain. The first night I couldn't sleep at all because bombardment by mousqitos. I went to reception at 7am for a change of room, but had to wait for 30 min as nobody was there. They stated in their ad in Hotels.com that there is wireless internet in the room, but no internet at all in the room, and not even hotel guides!

Espaço agradável, muito calmo mas perto de tudo, pessoas muito simpaticas e prestaveis. O hotel está a necessitar de manutenção, mas nada que impessa uma noormal estadia. Restaurente excelente.

État des chambres catastrophique, ménage et service inexistants, douche et robinet a l eau de mer, restauration infâme etc...
Seul point positif : le calme
Prévoir voiture pour accès plages.
Rien pour les enfants sauf la piscine lorsqu elle est nettoyée.
Affaire a reprendre prochainement !

En concreto reservé una habitación superior, que dan a una zona de piscina a través de una gran cristalera, la habitación amplia y con bastantes comodiades, incluyendo gran sofá, escritorio, terraza...
Muy bien, era lo que esperamos.
Las sorpresas fueron cuatro:
1.El agua de la ducha salada
2.La coberura de wifi malísima
3.El desayuno bastante mediocre.
4.La peor para el final, el servicio de limpieza de habitaciones no tienen un horario muy definido, de modo que igual te la limpian a las 8 de la mañana que a las 6 de la tarde, que no te la limpian.
La directora nos pidió disculpas ya que el hotel estaba casi completo.

"Óptimo para descansar"

Bastante sossegado e a poucos minutos da zona central (bares e restaurantes), funcionários bastante simpáticos.
A ementa para meia-pensão foi variada, numa estadia de 5 dias só repetimos sobremesas e a comida era apetitosa.
Precisava de mais manutenção e limpeza exterior, mas nada que afecte a estada.
