The bathroom was full of mold and the tv was very old and hard to view.

it was a good time and a convenient place

Steer clear...food wrappers, and unknown liquid in styro cup on room entrance. Mold on shower curtain. Towels made of 3M sandpaper. Road noise all night. Was told not to walk outside to the restaurants because the neighborhood was "developing"

It was terrible. Even though the booking included transportation from the airport, I was told to get a taxi by the OWNER! I had emailed and called ahead w/ my flight information, and still had the pay the $26.00 plus tip to get to this dump. It is so loud you would probobly get more sleep under a bridge than in their rooms. The neighbor is scary also. Spend a little more and be safe and get some sleep.

The blowdryer was missing from the wall and my request for one went unanswered. No clothes hangers - they scrounged up 3.

My husband and I stayed the night here before leaving on a cruise the next morning. Room was nice & clean, surrounding neighborhood was ok (there is a nice outdoor shopping mall nearby) & the shuttle to & from the cruise port was nice. The negatives were that they didn't have our shuttle reservation when we first checked in, had to speak to the manager the next morning & she straightened that out, but I was told through Hotels.com that the parking was free while we were away on the cruise & the hotel says it's not. They only charge $7/day though which is way less than what the cruise port will charge you. We didn't eat their breakfast buffet either, just wasn't our style. Overall, not a bad place for a one night stay.

Average size room with a fridge, tv, good cable, free wifi, parking and breakfast - all in all an amazing value for the money paid. A few downpoints: broken bathroom door and small space, but the sink with a big mirror outside the bathroom which is a big plus when 3/4 stay Good breakfast, but there is no place to sig or standing or need to take to room Nice helpful staff Notice that there is a pool outside

To start with the age of this hotel tells a story. It is one of the oldest hotels in the Miami area. It was easy to get to from the interstate that runs about a block away from it. This hotel was perfectly located to my needs, the staff was friendly and accommadating. The room was clean and had fresh towels and linens also. If there were a reality show dealing with Hotel Makeovers, I would definitely sign this hotel up for one. The electrical outlets are so old that anything plugged into to them would fall out. The table lamps would come on by themselves from the vibrations from the traffic passing by. The decor could stand to be updated, fresh paint and wall pictures. And the 32" television should have had a remote control with it. Overall, I would rate this hotel with a high end 8.5 because it was close to my business appts., it was clean, and there was no loud noise from any of the other guests during my 3 night stay.

Never stayed in Miami before, but, thought the price was high for what we got. Could be that is standard for the area. When reserving, we received two bits of wrong info. Double check any questions. The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. Fast food restaurants across the street.

Only stay here if you're on an extreme budget.

the room needed total refurbishing carpet had an iron burn on it holes in the curtains not a safe neighborhood to walk around also on a 4 lane highway only fast food place to eat nearby also tv reception was bad i would not recommend this place to anyone

The bath tub was gross, there was paint peeling off the walls. I will not be staying there again. The only good thing they had going for them is that there was places to eat in walking distance.

shuttle service is mentioned in the description, and we contacted the hotel and made appointment for the shuttle service a week before arrvial. However, on the day we arrived, the shuttle didn't come, then we called the hotel and were told that there would not be shuttle to pick up us that time... but the shuttle did drive us to airport when we leave. Regarding the others, my rating reflects my opinion.

I stayed there 1 night because i had an appt. in that area early the next morning. Found small roaches in the bathroom, towels were gray and very old, noisy street... never again. This place should NOT be in Hotels.com roster. TAKE THIS HOTEL OFF YOUR LIST

The Midtown Inn is an older motel, struggling to keep up with maintenance: new outside paint, newer carpeting, working air conditioners, but seriously worn-out furnishings, t.v. sets, and linens. The lack of elevators made things tough when carrying heavy suitcases to the second floor. The beds were comfortable. Soda machines and dryers were broken. Breakfast was just juice and a pastry. The lobby staff were always pleasant and helpful. A bus stop is near the hotel. A bus ride cost only two bucks (as of October 2011); the bus was a great way to get to the more attractive end of Biscayne Blvd. We really liked Bayside Market, 30 blocks away. We were pleasantly surprised by the presence of police at that end of Biscayne Blvd. (near the Freedom Tower). Families could be seen walking at night with small children. It was very safe. Shuttles between the airport and the port authority could have cost us $60 (as of October 2011), but this was included in the full overnight price of the Midtown Inn, a significant perk to this small motel, in need of TLC.

I selected this hotel based on the reviews and its "location" at bayside, but it was not near any attraction. We stayed the bare minimun, just not to lose our prepaid reservation. Not a bad service, but it is a motel in a very busy (and loudy) street. Clean and basic.

Only a few fast food places around. Surrounded by shut down shops. This hotel is not MIDTOWN by any means. The internet can only be connected with any service near the front office. There it is great. There is a bus stop close by to take you to down town shops. The hand rail going up to the second floor need either replacing or painting NOW. It is off putting to see so called white handrail covereedn brown or black from usage. However, the room although was old at least it was clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

For the same and even less money there are several hotels near by.

For traveling on a budget, this place was everything my group needed and more. Great location to both down town and South/Miami Beaches. We walked to down town every day and night, and baring traffic to south beach it was only a brief cab ride. The day staff was great and very helpful, but at night the guy who worked the desk was a real jerk. He would yell at us for being outside of the room, even if we weren't making any noise. All in all, a great value stay, especially if your looking for fun for a certain 3 day long concert that takes place downtown ;-).

the room is big. But there is to little bath towel. And the blankets is too thin.

I was there for 1 week with my family. We are satisficied for the treat received, so I recommend you if you want to go to Miami with your family

The Hotel was very close to Miami Port. The people was very helpful not the kind of Hotel that I am use to staying but was ok for a night and for the price. You get what you pay for.

This place was a mess! Not clean outside nor inside. We stayed for about 2 hours, and only so we could find another place near the cruise ship pier. We ended up at the Hilton, and we sleep like a baby. We were very happy to leave.

I expected what I payed for, but I was pleasantly surprised by the beds. Large and comfortable. The room had a pretty nice setup, however the light switches are in the center of the room, I had to walk through darkness to find it. Pros: Great location. One block from Interstate 195 to the Beaches. One block from a Target shopping center. Fast food and gas station right across the street. Short drive to Bicentennial Park. Cable TV was solid. More channels than I expected. Air conditioning is easy to use.The pool appeared clean and maintained. But it's in the parking lot. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Cons: I do not like the fact the bathroom was a bit dirty. Needs to be cleaned. The windows had no blinds, so if I draw the curtain, it is an open view of Biscayne Blvd and anyone can look into the room. Better access is preferred into the parking lot. The lot by the pool is congested. The back parking lot has ample space, but one has to drive through a narrow alley to get to it. There is another 'entrance/exit' that was gated and not used.

This was a great experience! I was a bit unsure when we first pulled up to the hotel but don't judge this book by its cover!! The guy at the front desk was great! He let us check in 6 hours early, had the room cleaned and ready for us within 10 minutes. The location was great. Wendy's, gas station, Pizza Hut right across the street and a Denny's at the end of the block. The hotel is located about a 10 minute cab ride to the Port of Miami and a 15 minute cab ride to the airport. There is a Airport shuttle for $26 but I think you could get a cab for cheaper. We took the shuttle (which the front desk operator set up for us) we were allowed to stay in the room past check out waiting for our shuttle. Checking in and out was quick and easy. Great Experience all the way around, I would definitely stay here again!

Sve pohvale gospođi s recepcije za uslužnost, ali doručak piše da je od 7 h do 9 h, no međutim pet minuta do devet nećete ništa naći na stolu. Nikad u životu nisam probao odvratniji sok od narandže do ovog hotela. Pozitivno je što se lokacijski nalazi 5 do 10 minuta od plaže

If you don't expect too much and are looking for a reasonably priced place to stay for 1 or 2 nights with a 15min car drive to Miami Beach, Harbour, or Int'l Airport, this is not the worst place to be. Rooms were basic but clean, friendly receptionist, free on-site parking, morning coffee with some cookies (cannot call it a breakfast), WiFi works, never noticed anybody in the pool, typical small restaurants and shops near by. Would definitely go there again if only for sleeping.

Tiene lo justo para utilizar el hotel solo para dormir, tiene estacionamiento y camaras en el estacionamiento, tiene un desayuno incluido con cafe, jugos y un poco de masitas, basico, pero buen servicio para el precio, queda a pocos kilometros de la playa y del aeropuerto. Recomendado para dormir y no para pasar el dia en el. Las personas del frontdesk hablan español y eran amables.

Apropiada para una corta estancia

El hotel es aceptable. El precio es alto en relación a la calidad pero en Miami no se puede esperar mucha calidad por ese precio, en otras ciudades por el mismo precio consigues muy buena calidad. Puntos a favor: 1) buena ubicación 2) parking gratuito 3) mucha comida rápida cerca 4) Miami beach relativamente cerca 5) estación de gasolina con mini market al frente 6) lavadora y secadora por 1,50$ cada una. Puntos en contra: 1) me parece costoso en relación a la calidad

As condições de limpeza e conservação do prédio deixam muito a desejar, porém a equipe de funcionários presta ótimo atendimento, são atenciosos, bem humorados e dispostos a ajudar e encontrar soluções. Referência especial ao funcionário Sr. Juan, do turno da noite, muito prestativo.

Já fiquei lá 3 vezes...não é um EXCELENTE hotel mas vale a pena pelo preço.

ensemble sale, moissisures dans la salle de bain calcaire sur les robinets trace de je ne sais quoi dans l baignoire nous y passions 2 nuits par necessite pour l etat de la chambre les angles n'ont jamais du voir l ' aspirateur les vitres sont sales quand à la iiterie elle n'a pas du etre changé depuis des lustres la pisicine tait en panne depuis longtemps pour conclure a éviter le seul point positif est sa position geographique et l'avantage de disposer d'un parking gratuit

Dette var ikke noe plass å være, vi sjekket ut etter kort tid og fant oss en annen plass! Det luktet mugg, hår i vasken, skitten madrass....... Dette hotellet bør ingen bruke, Hotels.com burde ikke hatt det på sine nettsider!
