Paxton Resort & Spa - Ferrieres-en-Brie

I thought the hotel was very clean, stylish, comfortable and in a really good location. The italian restaurant was excellent and the bowling alley is good fun. The only problem we had was that the consumer unit in our bedroom (Room 104) buzzed all night long unless you actually took the key card out of the holder but then you could not watch TV in bed. Other than that it was a lovely comfortable room. Its a shame that the staff didn't smile more often and they came across a little rude at times!

We loved the hotel, and it was terrific, but it wasn't extremely close to Paris, and there was not much to do in the area of the hotel, but we would recommend it to anyone. Free parking, free wi-fi, great value.

Paxton resort was clean, comfortable and affordable. Great on site facilities. The pool was warm, spa was excellent and the surrounding area was lively. Great if your travelling with kids and want to visit Disneyland which is close by. Breakfast was also good. If you want to getaway for a weekend Paxton is recommended.

The hotel does not do hot breakfast and the pool has cold water. it was also too deep for young kids. The sauna and steam room are also chargeable. I would not recommend this hotel for families.

I've stayed at this hotel once before, and although the hotel is very nice, the staff are not as pleasant. On arriving, the reception staff seemed uninterested and don’t greet you as you'd expect, just simply ask for your booking name and send you on your way, it doesn't feel very personal. The room is a good size, bright and clean and the pool is very nice after spending the day in Paris or at Disney. There isn't much to do in the surrounding area as it's more residential apart from one other hotel. We actually ended up going to the other hotel which is opposite in the evening as they had a good sports bar and bowling alley, so there’s was a bit more to keep you entertained of an evening. The nearest train station is Bussy St. George, which will take 30mins to get into central Paris. To get to the station from the hotel it would take 30+ mins to walk or 5mins in a car. The hotel do provide a shuttle bus to the station, although we were informed the bus doesn't run on weekends, only to find it was sat outside the hotel on the weekend and the bus driver was more than happy to drop us at the station?! In all, I think I would consider staying at a different hotel next time. We wanted something outside or central Paris so I would recommend Val D’Europe which was 1 train stop down. There is a lot more to do in the evenings around that area with numerous restaurants and a very good shopping/outlet centre, plus it's closer to Disney.

Decent hotel just a shane about access to Metro / bus. Difficult walk to Metro and bus is infrequent.

We booked this hotel as near disneyparis and much cheaper. We went by car and it was very easy to get to. We also used the nearby train to go into Paris. The other way and 2 stops and you are at Disneyland. Staff told us a good place to park our car near the station. The hotel I believe offers a shuttle service. We had a fantastic stay. The room was clean, on two floors which the kids loved. The staff were very helpful. I asked for an iron and it was delivered to our room within 10mins. The swimming pool is lovely. Breakfast was lovely and again friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely go back to this hotel. Thank you for a lovely stay :)

Lovely modern hotel, nice reception area, lovely duplex room, lots of space. Nice swimming pool helpful staff. Convenient for central paris and eurodisney.

I stayed in the hotel with my family. We had our own transport. The hotel is located just off A4 motorway that goes to Paris on one side and Disney Land on the other. The restaurant in the hotel shuts early if not enough people eat there. However, a McDonald is situated right opposite the hotel, other shopping is at least 4 to 5 miles away. Recommended to stay if you have your own transport.

This hotel was excellent value for money - good pool, good restaurant, pleasent rooms and at a low price for the area.

A wee bit apprehensive after reading other reviews, however, delighted in every way. Warm welcome from very helpful staff. We had requested a double and a twin, these we got and the hotel made sure that the rooms were allocated together, as my 16 year old son and his friend were with us. The staff also made suggestion or ordering pizza in case the food in the hotel wasn't to the boys fancy! Due to our timetable, we didn't eat in the hotel, but the rooms were immaculate, great size and very clean, comfy beds, great shower, I suppose most folk were using the heating, it being October, however, the boys used the aircon, coming from Edinburgh we aren't used to such novelty gadgets and were happy with the fully opening window! The boys had been put in an end room, which the neighbours were probably thankful for - boys will be boys and they could play their computer games on the television, most probably into the early hours. We had seen a few reviews for this hotel complaining about the location, we had our car and it was perfect, a shortage of parking places one night, due to building work, but the cars were parked all around the hotel, and everyone had been courteous in their parking, so no probs - and the parking was free. Only a few minutes from Disneyland, and our main reason for choosing the hotel - we popped over to the Disneyland village on the second night and had dinner at Planet Hollywood, a treat for the boys, however after a day at Park Asterix, the french theme park about 40 minutes drive from the hotel, they decided come with us to Paris -instead of Disneyland for their second day- we were flabbergasted! Only 30 minutes to central Paris, the hotel is two minutes drive from the station, which would have been really handy, but no visit to Paris is complete for my hubby without half a dozen spins around the Arc de Triomphe! Each night the room was cleaned and tidied, fresh sheets and towels. Handy fridge, microwave and hob - similar to the citadine hotel

Convenient location for both Paris and Disneyland and shuttle to and from train station was very useful. The room was very pleasant although the bed settee was not particularly comfortable and had no extra pillows and the room, especially the mezzanine got extremely hot at night as there did not seem to be any air conditioning. No cutlery or crockery is provided but you can hire this for what seemed a particularly over-proced daily rate for the bare minimum of uitensils, some of which was still not fully provided even after additional requests. We would not advise using the restaurant as it was extremely over-priced with a limited and inflexible menu and what was little better than microwaved bar food provided on the children's menu. One waitress in particular was just plain rude and the food was not a lot better than average although the impression given was that we were lucky to dine there - believe me, we weren't and ate anywhere else after the first night. Having said all that, the reception staff were extremely professional and helpful but vastly over-worked and we got the impression that the hotel was under-staffed even though it was peak season and very busy,

It was a nice hotel only 10 minutes from Disneyland. The bed was really awfull and ro old matras. We slept very bad in a nice hotel

Family of four stayed for a week whilst visiting DLP. Very clean on our arrival and continued to be during our stay, maid's in every day, changing towels, hovering, making beds and cleaning the bathroom. The kitchenette was compact with plenty cupboard space, the hob didnt work for us but that wasnt a problem as the microwave is good. It also has a normal size fridge with small freezer on the top. The staff were very polite and courtious, spoke very good english too. (Found that trying to speak a little French is appreciated! Simple hello and goodbye!) The hotel also has a indoor pool, which is a bit chilly but the area it's in is very warm, never tried the sauna but that looks nice too. Taxi service that the Paxton use's is very good, plush cars with suited drivers! Very reasonable too, 10 Euro to Bussy St George RER station. The Paxton also run a very good suttle service to the station but only between 9:30/11am and 7:30ish/9pm, there is no taxi service from the station and the bus stops after 9:30ish (number 22 from the restaurant side of the station goes to the Paxton) There is also a supermarket at the station which is very reasonable, and a larger shop to the side is a bit like our supermarkets. Disney is literally 6/7 mins away from Bussy St George RER and costs approx 6.90 euro for 2 adults and 2 children under 10. A taxi from Disney cost's approx 30 Euro to the Paxton. So all i can say is we had a fantastic time at the Paxton and Disneyland and cant wait to go again!!!

Clean and modern hotel, with friendly staff and a good restaurant. Handy for eurodisney and only a 15-minute walk to the train station, though not recommended with heavy luggage. There is a shuttle service from the hotel to the station but you do need to check availability times at reception. There is also a supermarket and small shopping centre, within 2 minute walk, and McDonald's is a 10-minute walk.

The room temperature was too high.

Our four night stay was reasonably good. The location is pretty good if you have a car. Otherwise, no. The kitchenette was adequate, but you need to ask for cuttlery, pot and pans (small surcharge). We were two adults and two kids and the space was just fine. The fold out bed (on the main floor) was good for small kids but not adults. The loft bet was good for adults (comfortable and large enough). The pool was not good for small children (too deep), but we didn't find it too cool. It was quite busy though. There was some VOC smell from painting (there's ongoing construction elsewhere in the hotel. This was not overwhelming, but if you're sensitive, it may bother you. The breakfast was alright (kids are free, adults at 14 Euro). We only did it once, so not exceptional. Overall, we were happy with our stay.

Great location for paris by RER or Disney. Excellent rooms, wonderful breakfast and easy access right by the motorway. Bussy however is a soul-less "new town" with a station and not much else.

Cet hotel est très propre, sauf le coin cuisine qui ne peut être utilisé comme il n'y a pas de vaisselles. Les lits sont très confortables, malheureusement un réveil un peu tôt avec des enfants qu'on entendait dans la chambre d'en face; Le petit déj est par contre parfait, et le restaurant italien à côté est aussi parfait, super pour une nuit mais pas plus;

De kamer die we hadden geboekt was een eengezinskamer wat bestond uit een tweepersoons-inklapbed/slaapbank, en een verdieping waar een tweepersoonsbed stond met een inbouwkast. Kamer was vrij compleet met tv, waterkoker, 2-pits elektrisch fornuis. Er was 1 klein tafeltje met 1 stoel. Voor een gezin met 2 kinderen zou het prettiger zijn geweest als er nog wat extra stoelen bij stonden. De badkamer was klein, maar wel net en compleet. Er zijn geen hangers aanwezig voor washandjes oid. Naast het hotel is een restaurant aanwezig met bowling en pooltafels. Parkeergelegenheid is er voldoende. Het hotel ligt op 10 minuten rijden van Disneyland Parijs en Val d´Europe. Vanaf het hotel naar Parijs-centrum is het 30 minuten rijden.

L'hotel est certes luxueux mais les chambres sont vraiment trop petites et trop basiques pour un 4 étoiles. En allant dans un formule 1 nous aurions eu la même qualité de chambre!!!

Nette kamer. Goed ontbijt. Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding.

Un complexe idéal pour se distraire entre les massages, la piscine, le bowling, le billard, les bars et le restaurant italien. Les chambres en duplex coté jardin sont de bonnes factures.

Chambre standard petite et au rez de chaussée, mais très confortable et très calme. déco contemporaine, kitchenette très pratique. Dommage que bous n'ayons pas eu l'occasion d'utiliser la magnifique piscine. Excellentes viennoiseries proposées au petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet, des fruits frais seraient un plus.

Wij vonden prijs kwaliteit helemaal top. Ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid. In de avond lekker gezwommen. Wij zullen zeker terugkomen . Kamer was heel netjes.

Hotellet är jättefint men ligger lite avsides. Det finns en gratis skyttel till stationen men den lyckades vi aldrig pricka in på hemvägen. Sen undrar man varför baren i den fina loungen nästan aldrig var öppen.

Superbe hotel, grande chambre, service impécable la piscine est un peu juste tout de meme!

Très bonne literie, piscine agréable. Dans les chambres il manque une brosse pour les wc et manque de prises dans la chambre et la salle de bain. Grosse erreur au petit déjeuné une quiche lorraine noté comme tarte végétarienne. Personnels très souriant.

Excellente. Nous avons été surpris par la qualité de cet hôtel. De l’accueil au départ. A recommander.

L'eau de la piscine était glaciale... Ils se pretendent hotel spa mais le sauna est payant et pas de bain bouillonnants... Dommage vu le prix de la chambre...

D'une manière générale, très bonne impression. Chambre agéable, hôtel neuf, bon service.Trois remarques cependant : le 2° jour, à 18h, la chambre n'avait pas été faite ==> je l'ai dit à la réception qui m'a raconté que les chambres avec départ étaient faites en priorité et que les autres étaient faites plus tard, que la nôtre le serait bientôt. Quelqu'un est bien passé une demi heure plus tard mais on était occupé à prendre douches donc on n'a pas laissé faire. Très moyen ... Une deuxième remarque : pour le petit déjeuner, salles trop petites et pas prévues pour la capacité de l'hôtel ==> trop d'attente certains jours. 3° remarque : piscine trop foide, malheureusment :-(

В целом отель интересный, и положение прекрасное для паломников Диснейленда. Растворила недружелюбность русско говорящего персонала, желание заработать на вилках и стаканах в номере и нежелание в этом самом номере убирать

Værelset var fint. Rent. køleskab, og en enkelt kogeplade...dog hverken krus, sevice eller andet at spise med/af. Og kun en stol på værelset... Dejligt badeværelse, dog så de rene håndklæder nussede ud. Vi havde morgenmad inklusive - det var dog bestemt ikke 4-stjernet morgenmad. Flydende scrambled eggs ( har man ikke hørt om salmonella i Frankrig ), og et meget lille/nærmest ikke-eksisterende udvalg i pålæg. Men effektive og venlige ansatte. Vi ville have brugt poolen, men den var ca 12 grader, så det var ingen succes. hotellet ligger meget tæt på Disneyland, men også et stort godt center (ca 3 km. ind mod Paris), og meget tæt på ( faktisk overfor hotellet) er der et supermarked og et par spisesteder. Det var OK. Stort plus var, at vi ankom kl 11, og måtte checke ind. Skal man ind til Paris, så kom afsted inden 9.00, eller du kan risikere meget langsom trafik...

avons passé une nuit avant de commencer un séjour dans un Hotel Disney 4*. à refaire je ferai tout mon séjour au Paxton, tellement le rapport qualité/prix est en sa faveur. chambre famille en duplex, toute équipée, propre, comme l’hôtel et à seulement une sortie sur l'A4 des parcs Disney.

Molto bene quasi tutto, manca una palestra.

Vraiment un bon moment juste la piscine froide dommage.

Week end en famille pour une virée a eurodisney , a 10 min du park avec accès direct . Choix de cet hotel pour la proximité et la piscine pour les enfants mais quelle déception de découvrir cette note expliquant que pour des raisons techniques la piscine n'est chauffée qu'à 20 degrés ! Impossible d'y rester plus de deux minutes sans claquer des dents .... Les chambres duplex sont parfaites pour un séjour familial , le petit déjeuner excellent et nous avons dîné dans le restaurant italien adjacent , juste une tuerie !

Tres bonnes acceuil chambre tres propres et assez spacieuse tres bon sejours je reviendrais et je le conseil

L'hotel par lui même est plaisant, le restaurant italien est très bien. Le petit déjeuner, également très correct. Il y a juste un bémol pour la piscine très froide et le sauna très cher pour ce qu'il vaut. C'est dommage, nous sommes restés sur une deception. De plus, lorsque deux emplyés sont en réception la nuit et que vous réclamez une bouteille d'eau, on vous répond que vous pouvez venir la chercher, cela passe un peu mal dans un établissement de cette catégorie.

perfect gelegen om disneyland te bezoeken, juist naast de oprit van de snelweg naar disney. Van het hotel is het 10 minuten rijden tot disneyland
