The room was comfortable and freshly painted with new carpeting and what looked like new drapes. Bathroom was spotless!

The hotel rooms have been recently remodeled, fresh coat of paint, curtains, bedspreads etc. The carpets were freshly cleaned, very nice value for the money.

Great staff and service, room was nice and clean, the location is great right off the beach and not far from other attractions. Would definitely stay again.

Room was nice. Had all amenities needed. Bed was as hard as a brick.

the view of the ocean was fantastic

We thought the hotel was very nice, great location, wonderful view from the room. The room was very comfortable and having a larger fridge and microwave was very helpful. The hotel staff was always very pleasant. It was convenient to many locations and the surrounding neighborhood was very pleasant to walk around at night.

We had a wedding in Cape May and didn't want to pay the crazy rates there or the 2 night minimums. We had a clean room, that slept 4 of us. It is very family friendly, right on the beach and a close drive to both Cape May and the Wildwood Boardwalk. The decor was slightly dated but certainly had been kept up and maintained. When going to Wildwood again we would not hesitate to re-book!

Perfect location, away from the wildwood crowd, right on the beach, no strrets to cross, as long as you have a car and who doesnt in wild wood, everything is just minutes away. Rooms need updating but so do most places in the area. For the price i paid thru hotels.com, this is my new place to stay. We will be coming back next year.

Motel location was right on the beach. It also is located in a fairly quiet area of Wildwood Crest about a mile+ away from the boardwalk. On the flip side there were no nearby (walking distance) restaurants or stores to go to. The rooms have full size refrigerators, stoves and coffee makers so if you come prepared that's not an issue and actually a money saver. Our room was clean except for some carpet stains and the beds were ok if you like them soft and not firm like I do. Bathroom was pretty spare with narrow shower/bathtubs but stocked with towels and soap that were changed every day.

We didn't spend a lot of time in the room but it was well worth the price. We are already thinking about a day/weekend in a couple of months and a week next summer!

I could not have been more pleased with the room, location, and staff. When staying down the Jersey Shore one must keep in mind that these are Mom and Pop hotels not some grand nationwide chain with millions to blow on granite, marble, and chandeliers. It was a clean, quiet and comfortable hotel. Will definately visit again and stay here.

overall, the hotel is clean and spacious. it is right on the beach, so that is great. however, its location in a residential neighborhood means quietness but also far from any eateries or stores. we rate the service as 'room for improvement' because we had to ask (and wait) for the room to be cleaned one day, and neither of the tvs worked (so we missed the democratic convention speeches).

Convenient - on the beach, but far from "downtown". Taxi cost $16 to go from the hotel to the main area downtown. We went for the Roar to the Shore motorcycle rally so obviously a pretty rough crowd - not sure if this is typical or not. The lady at the check in was delightful, the room was huge with a large sitting area, large fridge, microwave and stove (no oven) with plates and cutlery. Clean and comfortable with a nice pool and lots of sitting area outside on the decks. This is an older motel so nothing special, but it certainly did the job for us.

I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

We enjoyed the hotel for two things: the peace and quiet and, the beach. The hotel's next door neighbour is another hotel but in front of it are privately owned condos. Less traffic. The hotel practically sits on the beach! We had an efficiency unit. The unit was quite clean and had two double beds that were comfortable. Room service was excellent. The staff friendly and very helpful with information. The only suggestion that I would make is that the hotel take the time to invest in repainting and removing the rugs on the floors. The rugs should be replaced with tiles or linoleum as not everyone is clean and rugs keep odors for a long time. The room did have a musty smell to it. Unfortunately this tends to happen as over time with the sea so close and guests who are often negligent in keeping a room clean, the room keeps the odors...much like the rugs. The beach is beautiful and very clean. The sea was at approximately 75 to 80 degrees. Wildwood Crest is much quieter than Wildwood proper due to the fact that there is no boardwalk. So if someone is looking for a quiet environment while sitting on a beautiful beach...Wildwood Crest is the place to be and at the Acacia Hotel.

Room was very clean and neat. It was a bit dated, but we enjoyed our stay. Would go there again. Staff is very helpful.

The hotel was family friendly and clean. Our family enjoyed staying here. Much better deal than cape may.

As soon as we opened the door to our room, we were happy that it smelled so clean and fresh. Everything was very neat inside. It was nice to look out the 3rd floor room and see the beautiful beach. Pool area was alittle small but also very nice overlooking the beach. A coffee shop right next to it serving breakfast and lunch. Close to the boardwalk rides , about a 10 minute drive. I would go back and also recommend it. Nice for families.

Nicest room we've stayed at in Wildwood Crest! Pool area is really small though, only 9 chairs! Very quiet area, and a very short walk to the water! We will be back!

definately not a fancy place but decent and clean and right on the beach. the male housekeeping staff were a bit weird, but only weird enough to make you not like them, not fear them. would stay again.

The hotel is in good condition for an older hotel. The front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and adequate for my needs with only 3 people in a room that could have easily slept 6. No flat screen TV's but they worked . Free WIfi no problems . Nice area for cooking outdoors with tables and chairs for families to gather for meals.Pool is small but a few steps to the beach makes up for it.

We had a great time. Nothing negative to say about the hotel. The grill areas gave the hotel definetly an extra! Going back there soon

Beautiful pleace to take family, go alone, or as a couple, the must see stuff is withinn driving distance maybe a mile or so down the road. The room was very comfortable and spacious well worth the price. It was my first time going for to Wildwoods, we went for 4th of July and I would definitely recommend it! Just pre-plan and get directions on places to eat, shop, etc. and you'll be set.

The staff was very friendly and housekeeping was done the old fashioned way: (beds were changed daily). The price for the 2 night stay was great and I would vacation there again.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Acacia. The location was perfect, oceanview was perfect. The heated pool was very nice! My only complaint is the room was very outdated. I would have given a perfect review if the room was more modern. I would definitely stay there again!

I was impressed with Acacia. I booked last minute for a quick stay to go to WildWood piers with our two kids (5 and 3yr) and to the Cape May County Zoo. We chose the Crest because we wanted to be away from all the noise and bustle closer to the boardwalk yet close enough to launch to those areas. The hotel was right on the beach...long walkway to the beach was nice with access to wash your sand off in the parking garage (btw is seriously hard to park your car!) Nice pool -1st floor and area with grill—2nd floor overlooking a small pool. We stayed in Ocean View room....motel like entrance on side so no private balcony but was a nice view of the Ocean was not Ocean Front.... We were fortunate to have our room close to the Ocean pool end so not much foot traffic past our window but what we sacrificed is the elevator is at the other end. Our room was a one-room efficiency. It was roomy and spacious, nicely stocked kitchen with full fridge, microwave and oven burners, dining room table for 5, sofa bed in living room, back bedroom with two beds, another TV (no DVD) and another sink --was more than enough room for our family of 4. The bathroom was spacious and clean. We were very impressed with the value for what we got compared to some of the other more dumpier looking places closer to the boardwalk. It was a 6-10 min. drive to Wildwood boardwalk entrance off Rio Grande. My almost 6 yr. old says he loved the trip! We easily could have been comfortable at Acacia all week.

Great place, just bring your own shampoo... They charge you for it. Also, an outsider called and they told them what room I was staying in. I didn't appreciate that at all because the idiot kept calling, plus there isn't security walking around and the front office closes at 11PM.

It was awesome rooms 101,102 and 103 have the best views.

This hotel was soooooooo noisy! The girls at the front desk were so rude. They acted like they could care less if we stayed there or not, and when I asked about why my wireless would not work, she said, "must be something wrong with whatever you are using can't do anything about it" We will never go there again or recommend it. BAD HOTEL.

Our stay was very nice and I will return in the future. The rate of the room was good, and for a 2 room hotel room with a full size fridge, a 2 burner stove, microwave, was very roomy, beds were comfy, even the open up sofa was very comfy. The only thing that I didn't like was that there was no tissues, or paper to write on, no little extra things that you get in a reg. hotel room. No ice machine. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

The motel was spotless! Located right on the beach, a short drive from the boardwalk. We definitely have a new favorite go-to place when planning a trip to the beach!
