Harrahs New Orleans Casino & Hotel - ניו אורלינס

The hotel is nice on the inside. I had a large room that was very clean. This was a business trip for two nights. At no point during my trip did my shower produce hot, or even warm, water. It was ice cold the entire time. I made six attempts to have this fixed with no success. When it was clear that they were disregarding my request, I asked to switch rooms and was unable to due to overbooking on their end. After I left, I attempted to contact the hotel manger, and assistant managers, no less than 10 times with ZERO response. Completely inconsiderate. My worst hotel experience to date, and a place I will never consider staying again.

excellenet stay overall.

Room was nice and very clean. Wireless internet did not work; spent 2+ hrs trying to get it to work - front desk advice was bad. Fine hotel if you don't need to connect to the internet.

This hotel was absolutely fabulous! Everyone was so friendly; the customer service was outstanding! The casino was also great! Even the dealers were courteous! Yolanda and Gerald were particularly awesome!

Employees not very helpful or friendly. Infacr check in person was very rude never ven made eye contact. There were four employees all chating together adout a club, had to wait for them to finish to check us in. Also charged a 30 early check in fee after telling us they would wave the charge. But the hotel itself was nice and great location. But dont exspect great service

Amazing. parking is expensive. We parked for free at the casinos but we had to cross the street

Nothing bad to say. Had a wonderful time. 10 year anniversary celebration was a success. ;))). If you know what I mean. Ruth Chris downstairs was awesome.

First time stayed at the hotel ,nice n friendly staffs I would stay here again next time back to NO

telephone didn.t work in room. but other than that all was ok. have stayed here before and will again.

Someone always there to take care of what you need.

The main impression is one of poor training and incompetence of the staff. One would go down to the lobby and 10 people would ask if they could help you, but none of them actually did help. 3 separate times I asked for Bell assistance and never received it. I got a smoking room instead of the requested non-smoking room. They said they could switch it, but in when I got to my room it smelled like a cigar bar. Had to wait a day to switch rooms. The Ruth's Chris Steak house in the hotel was also poorly run. Sometimes OK service, often a lot of staff milling around doing nothing. The two other associated restaurants "Grand Isle" and "Mannings" also had extremely poor service and were not focused on the customer. This may be that many of the customers are getting "free food" by using the casino, and so there is no motivation of the restaurant staff of management to provide good service. Overall I would not recommend this hotel.

the location is great...close to public transportation, and local attractions. I know this review is about the hotel, but the casino had the tightest slots I have ever seen..not once did I see anyone win enough to get excited about. Even though we gambled a lot, the only thing that got comped was our internet service which was overpriced to begin with. In our room, the bed was too hard for a pillow-top, thankfully the pillows were awesome. The faucet handles in the bathroom were in need of work...they were loose in place. The hotel was lovely, and all of the employees were polite, pleasant and helpful. Rooms were clean and room service was great. The big bathtub was a blessing after walking all over town, and needing a good long soak.

We had a great experience staying at Harrah's. It was close to great food, great entertainment and walking distance to the French Quarter.

This is a great hotel to stay at. Close to all that you need in New Orleans.

I grew up in New Orleans and was very excited to have a chance to be a tourist. Harrahs was not worth the cost. Yes, the room was clean and quite..but some of the rooms actually have windows that face the parking lot...yes the parking lot. We were first given a room that had the parking lot view. The bed was not comfortable, there was no desk to work from, they charged $11 day to use the internet, parking was $30 a day unless you played in the casino for 30 minutes. Unless you are an amazing gambler the risk it not worth it. House cleaning forgot to leave shampoo in our room three out of 6 days during our day.

Everything was great except both rooms were handicap rooms. If that was all that was available I would understand but the front desk didn't notify us. We didn't complain but it was inconvenient because the shower water went all over the bathroom floor. Also one room didn't have a tub. If not for that the hotel would have received all 5's. I hope we weren't keeping someone who needed a handicap room from having one.

Do not stay here unless you are a member of there club. If you don't gamble do not bother. I arrived at the hotel at 3:30 and our room was not ready and they said they would call us when it was ready. This was fine until I sat there and watched no less than 25 people check in after we did and immediately get their room. After sitting waiting for some time I asked if our room was ready they checked and it was. Did they let us know???...NO! I then asked to talk to the manager who informed me that the reason those people got their rooms first was becasue they were gamblers in the casino. So, in other words my business is not important becase I do not gamble, The room was nice and the valet parking attendants were very nice, however, front desk and management associates need to learn the meaning of customer service.

I'm a bit of a hotel snob, and I have no complaints about the hotel. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were nice, and the location is great. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very good hotel. The hotel workers were very friendly. Service was first rate. The room decor was nice.

The rates were great and the services was outstanding. Thats from parking the truck to check-in and checking - out. The room services was right on time. The staff was very professional.

I wish they had breakfast as part of the room rate.

This hotel was absolutely beautiful. Make sure you get a suite as there is so much room. I would definitely stay there again. The casino across the street is very handy for meals and coffee. We have been traveling all over the world and this one was certainly our favorite.

Had to wait for check-in; room wasn't ready even at 6:00pm, so I complained and did get upgraded to a Suite. Pull-out sofa bed wasn't the most comfortable though. Nice hotel; staff very friendly. The quality of the food at the buffet is sub-par. I was very disappointed in the dinner buffet. Breakfast buffet wasn't much better. Save your money; eat elsewhere.

STAYING HERE WAS A TREMENDOUS EXPERIENCE IN ALL AREAS. WE HAVE BEEN FORTUNATE TO TRAVEL ALL OVER THE WORLD AND WE HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING CLOSE TO THE COURTESY, HOSPITALITY, AND EFFICIENCY THAT WE RECEIVED HERE AT HARRAH'S.

Nicest and most helpful hotel staff. We travel frequently and this was a very pleasant experience.

everything was great at my stay. exceeded my expectations.the only problem,concerning parking i was not aware that you have to swipe your rewards card each day to recieve free parking.

I've been to many Harrah's....this has them all beat! Boutique Hotel feeling...personal attention, concern, and immaculate...great room, wonderful bathroom..from Elizabeth at desk to Willie and Sybil on Casino floor...what a first class experience..already recommended it all the way back home.....!! I will be back soon...felt safe and welcome the entire time!
