Hearthstone Lodge - סאן פיקס

The Hearthstone gave us all we needed to have a good weekend of skiing at a rate that was reasonable. The gym was all I needed, and the hot tub was great!

First time stay at Hearthstone Lodge though have been coming up to Sun Peaks for a few years for the Winter Wine Festival. Hearthstone Lodge is very conveniently located close to Day Lodge and lifts...ski in/out. Rooms are nice and they were clean and well maintained. Recommended.

We stayed here as a pit stop driving through BC, of course we knew this is a skiing place and i think staying in winter it would make the place feel a lot cosier. Does the job nicely

This hotel was comfortable and generally clean. The shower pressure was nice and high! The towels were a little stained from previous use, though.

This by far has to be one of the best hotels I've stayed in for the rate I paid. The room was quiet and comfortable with a gas fireplace and kitchenette. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Being right in the heart of the village was the added bonus! Can't wait to go back!!!

I took the "loft option" which was spacious and very nice (and clean). The loft was not more expensive than some "normal" room in some other hotels. Not many people around in Sun Peaks at that time of the year. Very quiet and relaxing. The receptionist was very helpful and nice. The free underground parking was nice. I will stay again. The hotel is very easy to find and was definitely worth the money. I recommend this hotel.

The hotel room was excellent, roomy, quiet and clean; the free WiFi was a good bonus, and the kitchen was well equipped. I prepurchased the night's stay through hotels.com and got a very good rate. Minor problems were that the TV remote control and bedside lamp on-off switch did not work, but as I arrived late and was only staying one night I did not report these items until the morning I left.

A nice area to stay in overnight in the off-season. It was very quiet, but most shops and restaurants were operating normally so service was good and easy to find. A very good value, even if it's slightly off the main track.

The hotel was great and I read all the reviews before I chosed it. And I have to say that it looks like they take those reviews seriously. I haven't seen any hotel crew playing Solitaire or anything like that. The room was very quiet. Staff was very friendly. The room was clean. So I enjoyed staying there.

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding that was held in the summer at Sun Peaks. Sun Peaks has a lot too offer in the summer months and it is anything but crowded during off season. That said the picturesque area and surprisingly active area had all one would need for the stay. I highly recommend the 5forty cafe for breakfast. The Hearthstone was a hotel was a great price for the area and a decent enough place to stay. Nothing remarkable, the rooms were spacious for the price and the kitchen was a godsend. The staff seemed a bit bored given that it was off season, on more than one occasion I saw the staff playing solitaire, but they were courteous and happy to leave there game to serve us.

Simply can't understand why more people have not discovered this gem north of Kamloops, British Columbia. It has the feel of Whistler with no crowds in the summer. There's a great golf course that will challenge everyone, sensational mountain biking down the ski hills and a gondola ride that puts hikers into the alpine meadows really quickly. The plan is to keep hikers and bikers separate and they have done a great job. The studio room at the Hearthstone was extremely well equipped and the pizza in the store below is excellent. Give this place a try!
