O&B Athens Boutique Hotel - אתונה

שהיתי במלון במשך ארבעה ימים, מה-27 במרץ ועד ה-1 באפריל, והצוות היה ידידותי מאד. ארוחת הבוקר שניתנה חינם בכל יום, כללה חביתה שהוכנה לפי בקשה. החדרים הם בגודל סטנדרטי למלונות אירופאים, וחדרי השירותים היו מודרניים ונקיים. בדומה לרוב השכונות באתונה, גם השכונה הזו הייתה מכוסה בגרפיטי. המלון ממוקם במרחק נוח מהאקרופוליס, בתי קפה והמטרו. זהו זמן מעניין ומשתלם כלכלית לבקר בו ביוון.

שירות לקוחות היה יוצא מן הכלל. הצוות היה ידידותי ועזר. חדר קטן אך נוח. אי אפשר לנצח מיקום כזה. בהחלט שאשהה כאן שוב!

מלון O&B באתונה הוא מלון קטן ונפלא, בעל מיקום מרכזי וצוות ידידותי. המלון מעוצב בסגנון מודרני, כך שהשטח המוגבל מנוצל באופן הטוב ביותר. חדרנו היה מרווח, נקי, ובעל חדר אמבטיה נהדר ומרפסת גדולה עם נוף לאקרופוליס. הצוות מסייע ומועיל. השכונה הסובבת מוזנחת יחסית, אבל נראה היה שהיא בטוחה. המלון ממוקם במרחק הליכה של מספר דקות ממסעדת "Agora", ומסעדות נחמדות אחרות לתיירים. ההליכה במעלה הגבעה לאקרופוליס אורכת כעשרים דקות והיא נעימה מאד.

מלון פנטסטי כבר מההתחלה. זריזים מאוד במענה לכל השאלות שלנו בנוגע לתזונה לחולי צליאק. הצוות מסביר פנים ומועיל בצורה יוצאת דופן. המלון הוא פנינה בחלק נפלא של העיר, קרוב למסעדת “Agora” ולכניסה לאקרופוליס, אינסוף בתי קפה ופאבים לכל הטעמים. השכונה תוססת אך בטוחה, והמיקום הוא במרחק הליכה של עשר דקות למטרו ישיר אל ומשדה התעופה. ארוחות הבוקר והערב מצוינות לאלה שמעדיפים ארוחה שקטה במלון, בבר רגוע. אנו מעניקים למלון את המלצתנו הגבוהה ביותר

המלון הזה מקסים, החדרים נחמדים, הצוות נהדר ומועיל, והמיקום הוא במרחק הליכה למרבית האטרקציות. השכונה המקיפה את המלון מעט מוזנחת, אבל זה לא חריג כשמתקרבים למרכז העיר. בוודאות, נחזור לבקר במלון הזה שוב.

השירות היה בלתי מנוצח . אהבתי את המיקום, אבל אולי קצת מתוח בשביל אנשים מסוימים. הייתי חוזר תוך שנייה.

זהו מלון מעולה. הגענו מוקדם (7 בבוקר) והחדר שלנו לא היה מוכן, הם הציעו לנו קפה חינם במסעדה בזמן שחיכינו ונכנסנו תוך 30 דקות. תכננו לעזוב מוקדם מאוד ביום שלמחרת והיינו מפספסים את ארוחת הבוקר הכלולה במחיר - הם ציינו זאת בפנינו והכינו לנו ארוחת בוקר לקחת לדרך - שכללה 2 בקבוקי מים ו 2 בקבוקי מיץ תפוזים! הם גם שאלו אותנו אם אנחנו צריכים להגיע לאן שהוא והיה להם מונית שחיכתה שם - מלון מאוד מאוד פרו אקטיבי וידידותי. הם עזרו לנו למצוא מסעדה מעולה לארוחת ערב ואמרו לנו מה "חייבים לראות" ביום האחד שלנו באתונה. היינו שוהים כאן שוב תוך שנייה.

בזמן שטיילתי בעיר גיליתי שהמלון ממוקם האופן מרכזי ותוך מרחק הליכה מכל אתרי התיירות ההיסטוריים של אתונה. מיותר לציין שהתרשמתי מהידידותיות והמוכנות לעזור שהפגין כל הצוות. מבקר קנדי.

זהו מלון מעולה, עם בדיוק האיזון הנכון של איכות ואי-פורמאליות. הצוות היה מעולה, עזר ומאוד אינפורמטיבי.

אהבתי את הצוות והמלון עצמו. כשעזבנו חיבקנו את הצוות לפרידה. הם היו כל כך מתוקים ועוזרים. ארוחת בוקר מעולה, אינטרנט אלחוטי חינם, מגש ממתקים כברכה על הגעתנו. הם הכינו לנו ארוחת בוקר לקחת כיון שהיינו צריכים לעזוב ב 5:30 בבוקר לטיסה שלנו. היא כללה (לשנינו) 4 כריכים, 2 בקבוקים מיץ, 2 תפוחים ו2 בקבוקי מים. המחיר היה מציאה יחסית לכל עיר גדולה. הדבר היחיד להיות מודע אליו הוא שהמלון הוא הבניין היפה ביותר בהרבה בכל הבלוק. תלכו 2 בלוקים ואתם באזור נהדר, אבל ייתכן שזה לא מתאים לכולם אם ממש אכפת לכם איך הסביבה המיידית נראית.

The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. Our rooms were really nice and comfortable. The views of the Acropolis from the upper floors were great and the balcony/terrace was a very pleasant place to enjoy a meal. The restaurant has surprisingly good food and the breakfast every morning was fantastic and big. There was a great local restaurant nearby also, Mummy's Cooking, which we really enjoyed. It's close to the metro and easy to get to. Some of the surrounding neighborhood is a little run down, but I always felt safe.

Front desk and dining staff were very gracious and helpful. Room though small was very nice and modern. The area around hotel at first appearance seemed like an area to be concerned about. But we had no problems and a two block walk put us on the promenade to the Acropolis.

I really like this hotel. The room was nice, although a bit small, as is common with European hotels. Wandered randomly and basically made my way to the Acropolis. It's that close. The neighborhood is fine, although Athens isn't as tidy as most European cities. The graffiti and such on the streets is pervasive, and very visible around the hotel. The service was good, no complaints.

Good experience - clean rooms/hotel, high quality of service, friendly staff, good value for money, meeting guests requirements/needs.

Very helpful staff with good knowlege of surrounding area i.e places to eat and visit.Would suggest booking superior room as a minimum, the standard rooms are too small.Excellent location for Monastiraki and Plaka areas with plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. Overall, this hotel offered everything I needed at a reasonable price.

Just wonderful. Wonderful staff, great location (walked to almost all sights), cozy, clean, nice. Great breakfast. Very much recommended

The hotel is great and the staff was superlative, however, the surrounding neighborhood may not suitable for all travelers. It was safe, but there was a lot of local color/character.

Hotel staff was very helpful, location is near two metro stations.

Just 5 minutes' walk from the Agora, O&B was a charming smallish hotel with impeccable service and comfort and that all-important personal touch. Not for someone who wants swimming pools and gyms, and Soho rather than Knightsbridge, but a great choice for our short break.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It was great, I really cannot fault anything. The staff were really nice and friendly, the room (although not huge) was clean with a comfy bed and breakfast was a lovely touch. The surrounding area is great- easy to walk to do sightseeing and good, trendy pubs and restaurants within minutes. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. It was a lovely stay.

Good overall value with free internet n breakfast included. The location is central but gets somewhat iffy at night. No surprises. Got what I paid for and what I expected.

We were tired and we enjoyed the pleasant room. The location was great because we were able to stroll out to the road up to the Parthenon by only going a block through the busy streets. The gentleman at the desk voluntarily showed us where to go on a map so we could make the most of our time. They arranged a private driver to take us to the cruise port because there was a transport strike on the day, and this made things very easy. The room was small, but attractive and comfortable. The dining room was bright with a good breakfast offering. On arrival, a nice Greek specialty snack was delivered to our room. They went the extra mile to make us happy. Great hotel.

We liked the hotel very much once we were through the doors, the staff could not have been more helpful, but the surroundings were awful, the slums of Athens. Our taxi dirver warned us not to turn left when coming out of the hotel. Such a shame to have such a nice hotel in such a dreadful area

We really enjoyed our stay .. and would probably give higher marks had our expectations not been set so high based on other customer reviews. Additionally, regarding neighborhood, I'm not sure any place in Athens would be in a good neighborhood (there were many protests going on while we were there) .. which is such a shame. City was filthy and FULL of graffiti. Also, we arrived on a Sunday afternoon which has a "street market" (ie garage sale) on the hotel's tiny little street which scared us to death. Avoid arriving/staying on a Sunday if you can. We had the Executive Suite which was nice - but not sure worth the price (after having stayed one night at the Intercontinental the room seemed very small in comparison and there is no - zero - drawer space). OK .. now that I have said all that, the staff is fabulous and probably the best part of hotel - besides the spectacular view. It is also walking distance to the plaka .. which we did every day, at least twice a day.

Location looks bad, but it's just the same graffiti that's all over Athens. The location is very convenient to Plaka, Monasteraki, Acroplis. The staff in the hotel is 100% great!

First overnight stay we missed the best eating and view area, but found it on the 2nd overnight visit - great restaurants and food, many with music, fabulous views of Parthenon and only a 3-4 minute walk from hotel. Loved it.

My stay was very comfortable. I was very disappointed with the view from my room...there was none, it looked like a dump outside from my window. The pictures are a little decieving, they make you think you will be looking at the acropolis from every room, but infact you don't. I was paying a high sum for a room for 4 but no view and the front desk manager did not upgrade us to a room with a view. However, the hotel was very modern, very clean and the service was great. Apart from the "NO VIEW" we had a great stay.

Excellent service from the moment I arrived to when I left. This included giving me an adjacent room when I tried to watch the football on the TV and the picture was terrible; a problem they were then able to fix. It also included be greeted with olives, tomato and feta cheese and a drink for free! I have to say the staff were a delight, full marks. The only downside is that the street and immediate surroundings are run down, and a DJ playing incredibly loud music on the next block - but this stopped at a sensible time. In terms of location it is in fact very good, a short walk will take you to many of the principle sites. I was there on business and broadband is both free and easy to use giving good bandwidth. So really good hotel at a good price with good service but just be aware that the immediate neighbourhood is not fantastic.

The rooms were comfortable and very reasonably sized for Europe. Despite my complete lack of preparation for the trip, the staff was very helpful in directing me to all destinations nearby as well as helping me with finding travel options via bus and train to my final destination in Greece. If you are staying for a brief stay over in Athens, it is ideal because you can hit all of the heavy hitter sites in a short amount of time because the hotels location. I stayed one evening and was able to see most of what I wanted to in a few hours. That being said, the neighborhood like all of central Athens is covered in graffiti and has some transient population. It seemed totally safe though. I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed in Athens for a couple of nights after visiting the islands. Check-in went smoothly. The front desk staff spoke good English and were helpful showing us where everything was on a map. The breakfast included breakfast each morning was sufficient. We did not take advantage of the made-to-order eggs, but the scrambled eggs offered were tasty. The sheets were very comfortable, even more so than the five-star resort we stayed at in Mykonos. My wife loved the down comfortable, especially because I turned the thermostat down to provide relief from the heat outside. The room and bathroom were a good size. The double sinks were great for me and my wife. The only complaint was that the lights in the bathroom never got very bright, and the bathroom lights would gradually change from dark to light and back the entire time while we were in the there. The Psyrri neighborhood where the hotel is located is known as an up and coming neighborhood for nightlife. During the day, the area looks less than desirable as an industrial area with graffiti and small thrift stores everywhere. My wife wasn't as comfortable exploring the area at night after seeing those sights on the taxi drive in, so I can't comment on the immediate area around the hotel, but it sounds like it could be fun. The hotel is close to the Acropolis, Syntagma Square, and Plaka. We walked everywhere, but did see the metro rail stations close by as well.

Wonderful location, wonderful service and staff, great breakfast,, one of the best showers I can remember, and perfect bed for my bad back.

needed a pharmacy,front desk made phone calls to make sure they had the medicine and obtained detailed directions to get there. Very satisfied.

I arrived at the Hotel for a work stay. I left as if I had had a vacation. Hotel located close to restaurants, sites and great little walkways. Staff was amazing! The rooms were clean and well kept. Mini Bar, bathrobes, great bath products. Fresh Breakfast. Overall A+. I will return

O&B was a bit hard to find after arrival at Thissio metro station but was really close to the station and all the must-see tourist sites in Athens. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The surrounding neighborhood was a bit sketchy - There was a XXX DVD shop right next door, however in general Athens is a very safe city. We felt safe walking around until pretty late into the night. The breakfast was consistently good with fresh fruits, baked goods, yogurt, deli meats, scrambled eggs, etc. Unfortunately, we did not get to enjoy the nice view of Acropolis from the hotel as we stayed on the first floor for two nights but I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Very comfortable

Athens has a lot of random side streets, and unfortunately the taxi drivers don’t know them all too well. If you do end up staying here and you’re coming from the airport, definitely take the train…it’s much cheaper, will get you there in about the same time, and the station is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. We stayed here on the last night before leaving our honeymoon, and while the room was not large, it was nice with new amenities. The staff were very kind and the breakfast was just what we needed before making our way to airport. The O&B is also located very close to the Acropolis and some fun bars.
