it was ok ,but the sofa bed needs to but fixed got no sleep because it was so uncomfortable ,the floor was better

Enjoyable convenient location. The only detraction is that the fire stairwell doors only open one-way. Of course, this is expected for the bottom exit door. However, for someone who is claustrophobic, and scared stiff of using lifts, it's a big issue. Just the knowledge of knowing that a door can be reopened in the opposite direction, is of extreme relief for one suffering such a condition.

Service to room is once a week only, including towels and sheets. Every service that is usually standard was not available or is charged extra. Air conditioning only partially working, did not keep the room cool. Room was not clean and was worn out looking- rug was bare and walls badly needed painting. No staff on duty (including front desk) after 5 or 6 pm. Only advantage was close proximity to Darling Harbour and downtown and the only amenities were laundry facilities that you pay for.

- Bedroom stank like Urin !!!, the matrasse smelled like sweat really bad !!!, It was very hard to sleep at night because the street in front of and the big road above the place were so loud. Impossible to sleep there without earplugs, staff wasn't the friendliest, very expensive, we broke a glass cleaning it and had to pay for it - altogeher one of the worst places I have ever been to in Australia!!

Very clean and comfortable. Excellent facilities available for an extended stay. Would stay again if necessary. Underground parking was available at a reasonable rate.

A good location in the CBD and the staff were very accommodating, however the apt we stayed in could definitely benefit from a thorough cleaning (spider webs, counter not washed down, very dirty carpet, etc.). The fact that they bill themselves as a serviced apartment, but then do not provide clean towels until the fourth or fifth day of your stay, is also not in keeping with how I would define a "serviced apartment."

Nothing special, good location, everything was OK. Pleasant staff. Only problem was you are asked to wash all your dishes before departure, but are not given anything to wash or dry them with.

It was the perfect position within Syd to stay and a lovely place aswell.

These are serviced apartments. They have large rooms, an equipped kitchen. Serviced midway through a one week visit. Effective and quiet conditioning in both rooms of our one bedroom apartment. Each room had a flat screen TV. Very friendly and helpful staff. Options to pay for wifi internet, for example a block of 8 hours to use when you want cost a little over $AUS30. Rooms were clean. Five minute walk from Wynyard railway (ie subway) station. This station is a hub for train and buses all over Sydney. Location in a very safe neighborhood. On second floor, no road noise. Wynyard has a small supermarket so food/kitchen/bathroom supplies easy to get. Small shampoo/bath soap and toilet paper there on arrival so we didn't have to shop until the second day. Very quiet neighbors. Ten minute walk to George St the main city street. Free internet is rare in Sydney but the Customs House public library in Circular Quay has free wifi.

Hotel is comfortable,no frills accomodation. Parking is excellent and well worth it.Convenient location but not scenic.Close to Darling Harbour and Circular Quay.

Was great! Best place to stay if your taking a cruise... Real close to wharf 5. Staff are very accommodating and helpful.

We stayed at Napoleon on Kent for 1 night it was walking distance to Wharf 5 where we were leaving to go on a cruise the next day,we found the Hotel very clean and staff very helpful and courteous,we would have no hesitation booking with them again.

first time in Sydney for my wife and me, didn't spend a lot of time in room but it had everything you need and was comfy so we were very happy and the location, well in under 5 mins we were dining on big brekkies or dinners and all beside beautiful Darling Harbour

above expectation and good value ..staff friendly and helpful allowed us to view our room first and give us another which was nicer The location was good and everywhere walkable. The room was as clean as could be expected for an older place

Napoleon on Kent was a good choice for exploring the city. Considering it is built under a freeway it was really quiet. Unfortunately sickness got in the way of a great holiday but partner was able to be out and about and could check back due to ease of regular trains etc. Being able to extend by an extra night was also very appreciated. Nice to have a lounge to watch t.v instead of sitting in bed. Would go there again.

The staff were excellent so to were2 of the cleaners who were helpful with directions. The hotel is in a good area to be able to catch trains 10 min walk, and had no difficulty in catching taxis out front. It has good security. I found the room to be very clean and comfortable and no noises were heard. I will stay there anytime when the need arises. Thank you and take care.

Very dark and noisy, as the Hotel is directly under the motorway flyover. Such a shame as the location is good. Probably the Hotel was there before they put a flyover over the top of it. Apart from that, not bad, and good value for Sydney

This hotel has a great location for a great price. The rooms could do with some updating and maintenance but if all you need is a place to stay at a good price in a fantastic Sydney location then this is the one for you.

Very good location. Close enough to walk to Circular Quay, Darling harbour & the Rocks. Train station & bus station very close as well. Rooms are clean and roomy. Only issue is all rooms have queen beds and not twin, so if traveling with a friend you have to share a bed. I would stay here again it is value for money.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights while we attended the theatre and a concert in Sydney. Good location handy to public transport etc. the hotel was clean with old but clean facilities. The main drawback was that we had a room below street level so it was a very dark room and we could not see what the weather outside was, would have preferred something on a higher floor.

I chose this property to 'convalesce' and avoid the long trip in traffic home. The establishment is neat if a little dated and has all the comforts of home away from home. Recommended. Friendly, courteous staff also helped the stay to be enjoyable.

Nicely appointed apartment, everything neat and clean. Access to initial parking for checking in is a problem subject to on street access on busy kent st.

tv reception terrible bedside lamps not working overall good location reasonable price

this is not a hotel per se. it's more like a studio apt. convenient location, even though you're under the freeway you don;t hear a sound. has a food court right accross the street, very convenient on weekdays, saturdays and sundays forget about finding something to eat around there, well on saturdays you still can find 2 blocks away a cafe. they don't have any service, the so called conference is closed on weekends so no WIFI, take eletricity converter or is no go for that either. They only change towels and linnens every four days!!! OH!! clean the rooms, every 4 days!!!. I WON'T STAY THERE AGAIN AS I LIKE A FULL SERVICE HOTEL, IF I WANT ORDER ROOM SERVICE, I CAN. ELIANA

I spent two nights in this apartment hotel. It didn't have any amenities that a hotel normally has, but the bed was comfortable. The room as was street level and very noisy. I would not stay here again or recommend it.

This Hotel was in a great location nestled between Darling Harbour and Circular Quay. Room was clean, quiet and spacious. My only criticism is that there were no restaurants in the immediate vicinity and staff were not very useful when we were trying to find some breakfast on a Sunday morning before I flight. I would return.

Having a kitchenette is extremely useful to be able to self-cater. Well - equipped and clean. Good location for Rocks, Circular Quay and central shopping areas. Only downer is that you must book parking if you have a car - the alternatives of parking in CBD are horrifically expensive. Other downside is that appt. not serviced during your stay ie no clean towels or bin emptying etc. but this is OK if you know in advance.

Very nice place to stay at competitive rates, central to all the major attractions in Sydney.

Great location in a very expensive town. Sydney is a wonderful city, but expensive. This hotel was good because of the location, but it was not fancy and there was no service. For a quick cheap stay in Sydney, it is OK. If you are looking for luxury in your hotel, forget it. However, it is close to the train, bus and downttown area, so if you want to spend your money on other items in Syndey, this place will work.

Despite the impression given on hotels.com, not all rooms at these serviced apartments have balconies. My husband is a smoker, and really needs outside access during the night, so we weren't pleased to find no balcony in our apartment. Reception was not manned after 7pm, so used the intercom to ask for another room, but they were booked out, so he just had to cope. Double bed, not a Queen, and a leaky shower screen, but otherwise basic and ok. Very convenient to Wynard Station, and short walk to restaurants on Kings Wharf.

This was a great budget hotel , in a great location only a few mins from public transport and a short walk from Darling Harbour. Lovely staff,

I was really excited when booking this hotel as I thought from the pictures it would be quite nice and modern. Unfortunately the pictures must be rather old as the hotel wasn't very modern and also our room wasn't that great (rather dark) and it wasn't very clean either. The bed was clean but the dishes and cooking equipment weren't - most of them were sticky and hadn't been cleaned properly. Also you could see that the carpet doesn't get cleaned thoroughly as along the edges and corners there was a lot of dust that has built up. Also the bathroom wasn't great - bits were mouldy and in the lounge the sofa had stains on it. In general the whole room was rather run-down and in my opinion needs to be refurbished. I definitely expected more form the pictures and for the money we paid.

Very convenient location for us.We found the room perfect for our needs..especially the well equipped kitchen . The air con was a necessary bonus. Surprisingly sound proofed. An enjoyable stay.

Trés bon accueil à la reception chambre vaste et confortable avec un salon et un coin cuisine. Toutefois trés sombre car il se situe sous une route et relativement bruyant.pas de ménage quotidien.

Personnel très sympathique, à l'écoute et disponible, l'appart est idéalement situé à côté de Darling Harbour et pas trop loin du centre de Sydney. L'appart est un peu juste pour 4 personnes mais nous y avons passé un agréable séjour

Très déçu de cet hôtel très très moyen ! Appartement sale, vétuste par endroits, vaisselle incomplète, climatisation bruyante, matelas avec ressorts ... Et pour couronner le tout, un prix pour 2ad+2enf plus cher que l'appartel 4* que nous avons eu sur la Gold Coast. Seul point positif, appartel bien situé, au centre de Sydney d'où tout est accessible en 15mn à pied.

Lors de notre arrivée, la chambre n'était pas disponible (travaux de peinture). Le nécessaire n'avait pas été fait pour nous trouver une nouvelle chambre. Nous avons dû attendre plus d'une heure pour que la réceptionniste nous trouve une nuit dans un autre hôtel. Les modalités de relogement (frais de taxi et paiement de la nuitée) ainsi que leur remboursement ont fait l'objet d'âpres discussions. Notre première journée de vacances a été consacrée à se loger et non à faire du tourisme.

Lidt nedslidt hotel - kun rengøring en gang om ugen. Ligger tæt på centrum, havn, transportmuligheder og seværdigheder

Dette er jo et leilighetshotell, så rengjøring måtte avtales i tilfelle man ønsket det, noe vi ikke trengte. Fikke nye håndklær hver dag. Kunne vært bedre rengjort da vi ankom, men ikke skittent. Alt nødvendig utstyr for å ordne sin egen frokost eller kveldsmat. Hyggelig ansatte. Gangavstand til nesten alle turiststeder. Kan absolutt anbefales hvis man har lyst til å oppleve Sydney, ikke sitte på hotellet.
