Island Pacific Hotel - הונג קונג

נהניתי מהשהות ב- island pacific. הצוות היה מאוד שירותי והתמורה תמורת התשלום היה מצוינת. החיסרון היחידי הוא המרחק מהמטרו אך יש הרבה אוטובוסים וחשמלית.

שהיתי במשך 5 לילות. הצוות מאד מסביר פנים מהרגע שמגיעים. השאטל לעיר במשך כל היום היה נוח באופן מרענן להגעה לאתרים האידיאליים באי הונג קונג. הזמנתי שירות חדרים פעמיים מתפריט עשיר והוא היה טוב באופן מפתיע . החדר היה מרווח לפי קנה מידה של הונג קונג וחדרי האמבטיה כנ"ל. נוחיות המיטה הייתה מושלמת והיה שפע של מקום אחסון ושולחן כתיבה נוח וגם נוף סביר. ביומיים הראשונים קמנו מאוחר ומדלפק הקבלה התקשרו ברוב אדיבותם כדי לשאול אם ברצוננו שיסדרו את החדרים. סירבנו בבוקר הראשון וקבענו מועד נוח ביום השני. החוויה בכללותה הייתה מאד טובה עם תחושה מאד אופנתית ברחבי המלון וצוות מצוין. ייתכן שהוא באזור מאד סיני אך עדיין במרחק הליכה קצרה מאד ל MTR הקרוב ביותר בטרמינל המעבורות ב Macau. בנוסף יש 2 חנויות הפתוחות 24 שעות ממש מעבר לכביש , דבר שהיה אידיאלי וגם סופרמרקט גדול יותר רק במרחק הליכה קצרה למעלה אחרי חנות 7 eleven אך הוא לא פותח מאוחר בלילה.

סה"כ תמורה טובה תמורת המחיר, טווח המחירים משתנה, המחיר הגבוה היה בזמן ראש השנה הסיני. תאכלו בחוץ כמו ברוב במלונות, האוכל והשתייה עלו הרבה יותר מברחוב הראשי והאיכות הייתה נמוכה יותר.

באמת לא רע עבור המחיר, למרות שהזמנו חדר עם נוף, אך החלונות היו כה מטונפים שלא יכולת לראות הרבה. קלקל את כל האפקט, חבל!!

החדר שלנו היה גדול באופן יוצא דופן לטווח המחירים הזה בהונג קונג, כמו כן הוא היה נוח מאוד. אפילו היה לי נוף לים. אין הרבה מה לראות בשכונה ואין גישה ישירה למטרו, למרות זאת הם מספקים הסעה קבועה בחינם למרכז במרחק דקות ספורות. עיצוב בטוב טעם, שירות ידידותי. סה"כ בחירה מצוינת למלון.

הצוות אדיב ביותר, חדר עם נוף, יכולתי לצפות בסירות שטות במעלה ובמורד הנמל, תחבורה זמינה, אוטובוס חינם למרכזים העיקריים, אין תלונות. מרוצה מאד מהמלון הזה!

מקום נחמד מאוד לשהות בו. הכול טוב. אני בהחלט ממליץ על מלון island pacific לחברי ובהחלט אשוב למלון אם תהיה לי ההזדמנות.

דיל טוב מאוד להונג קונג אבל המיקום לא כ"כ טוב בגלל שהמרחק למטרו הוא כ- 15 דקות. אין הרבה מה לעשות באיזור אבל יש מעט מסעדות וכ- 7-11 חנויות אופנה ופארק נחמד לאורך הכביש המהיר עם נוף טוב לעיר. החדרים נחמדים ונקיים עם נוף נהדר לנהר.

זה מלון נחמד מאוד עם נוף לנהר מהחדרים. החדרים נקיים ונוחים והצוות ידידותי. החיסרון הוא שתחנת המטרו הקרובה היא במרחק 20 דקות מהמלון.

מלון זה בהונג קונג הוא עסקה מעולה. שהיתי כאן עם משפחתי במהלך סוף השבוע אחרי שבועיים בסין.צוות דלפק הקבלה היה מאד מקצועי, מנומס ומרענן. התרשמתי מנעימותו של תהליך הצ'ק אין. בצ'ק אין אף נתנו לביתי דובי צעצוע, פרט נחמד שעשה לה את היום. החדרים היו קטנים וקיבלתי את הצעת דלפק הקבלה לשדרג לחדר גדול כי הייתי עם ילדים קטנים. הם הציעו מספר אפשרויות ואת האפשרות לראות חדרים אם היה ברצוני. למלון יש חנות "noodle" מעולה מעבר לפינה וכמה חנויות קטנות להצטייד במצרכים. ליד אוטובוס קומתיים, אבל 15 דקות הליכה מהרכבת התחתית. המלון מפצה על המרחק מהרכבת התחתית בכך שהוא מציע הסעה בשאטל חינם למעבורת או לתחנה המרכזית של הונג קונג. מספר אנשים הזהירו אותי לגבי בזבוז כסף על מונית. אני אישית השתמשתי בשאטל שלהם להגיע לרכבת התחתית ואז במונית על מנת לחזור בלילה. נסיעה במונית עלתה לי 30 HKD ובלילה השני זה היה 20 HKD...הנסיעה הזולה ביותר במונית שהייתה לי בימי חיי. מיקום המלון אינו אידיאלי אך השאטל החופשי מפצה על כך. מיקום המלון מתאים אם אינך מרגיש צורך לצאת ולחזור מהמלון ואליו מספר פעמים ביום. מלון מקסים ועסקה טובה.

Great stay, pool isn't heated though.

Lovely hotel, great service, very friendly, rooms very clean and modern, great views of the harbour, free shuttle bus service to Central was handy as the hotel is slightly out of the main tourist area. Bar and Restaurant a bit on the pricey side though.

Very friendly and helpful staff! Convenient to Airport Express!!!

Great location especially when you work in the Airport Express stop. The express train from the airport is only $100 HKD and it takes you to the Central station where you hop on a free shuttle that takes you to a few hotels, with Island Pacific as one stop. It is the last stop of the route which is good, because when you go back to the airport, it is a direct and non stop to the train. Depending on airlines, you can even check your bags before you get on the train to the airport...how convenient is that!!!

Check in was a breeze, and the hotel is centrally located (5 minutes walk from shopping/dining etc). Close to the ferries if you want to go to Macau. Good value.

very polite and attentive service (even by HK standards), great view overlooking the bay area, ideal location, as it is near Macau ferry, the Western Market, Central, a bit uncharacteristically modern but still comfortable and quiet

The hotel was relatively nice inside, but it's location was in the middle of the trade district, which made it very noisy. When you walked out, you were in the middle of vegetable stands, meat markets, etc. The shuttle from the airport to the hotel was very clean and the driver did a great job. Very economical also. The pool at the hotel was clean, and the exercise room was very, very small. Food prices were outrageously expensive. I probably would not stay in this hotel again, only because there are so many other options in the city that I was not aware of during the trip. If staying in the central city area, I'd stay in Soho, or I'd go to Kowloon and look at hotels there.

The staff went over and above to help! Even tracked down a jacket I left on the H1 bus late one night! It was clean and very well situated at the end of the free shuttle to the MRT. And the view over the bay was spectacular!

This hotel was very nice and clean, the staff were all very helpful and nice and the view of the harbor was amazing! Unfortunately the hotel is in the middle of a street full of vendors selling shark fins and some sort of large dried out skin for a few blocks to either side. I don't know what those things were but they left a vaguely fishy smell permeating everything. As soon as you get inside you'd never know though, and it is within walking distance to a lot of bars and resteraunts.

The hotel overall is good , Only the location is not very convenience !! But I would like stay again when I visit !!!

One small, but irremediable, problem with the room: if you want to listen to the TV news while using the lavatory, you can't open the door all the way because your knees block it! Plot ratio constraints I guess... Otherwise everything was fine.

Value for money

We have a quite a comfortable stay in the hotel for 2nights. The staff are polite and accomodating. However, we found it to be a little inconvenient as it's quite far from the MTR and we have to take a taxi from Shueng Wan station which cost around HKG 20 -25 each night. The hotel do provide shuttle services to the MTR but not return services and you need to arrange with the hotel if you need it. Its just too troublesome to us. The surroundings are also too local like and there's a bit of smell as it's near the wet market. This is the first time we choose the Sheung Wan area as we have stay around Causeway Bay area for couple of times already. The next time we will probably choosevto stay back in Causeway bay as it's more convienient and nearer to all the attractions and amenities which we much preferred.

Great value for the money! Like most hotels in Asia, the rooms weren't that large and the beds were very hard. However, the staff was great and the subway station is within a 10min walk.

For the price great hotel, the bellman on the ground floor are extremely helpful, cabs are not always easy to get, but the guys were more than happy to get one and ensured that the driver knew where i was going. Easy check in and easy check out. The price was very very good for Hong Kong, it was my second stay and i would certainly stay again.

As a regular visitor to HK I am used to the small rooms and as usual the room was small relative to the description. I paid 30% + for a Superior room and found it still rather tight. There is a major main road out of the front of the hotel and I found the traffic noise was high. I was o the 8th floor so if you have a problem with noise then ask for a higher room and at the side. Located in the western district there is not local MTR station so to go anywhere I needed a cab. Not so bad for a couple of days but I would not like a long vacation here. Overall reasonable value for what I paid but not an outstanding establishment - but staff very courteoue despite the long queue at check in.

compare with other same rank and price hotel, it was little biger and comfort. I will stay here next time when I come to Hong Kong

The service in the hotel was very good. The buffet was a little high. The pillows in the rooms were terrible. The rooms smelled a little musty. The bell men were very attentive when you enter the hotel. The staff overall were very good.

Although the hotel wasn't top notch, wasn't the nicest I've stayed in, it was clean and well maintained. The service was exceptional though. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful with directions, shuttles, transportation information, recommendations, and accommodating. Even after I checked out and had forgotten personal belongings, they mailed it to my home in the US free of charge.

Enjoyed the stay. Couldn't get the non-smoking floor, was with a child, that was the only sad part.

Good position for all modes of transport so can get anywhere very easily and cheaply. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would stay there again. Very clean and comfortable rooms

The service desk personnel were NOT helpful until AFTER my room was booked. Apparently potential customers don't warrant general assistance or hospitality until AFTER they've qualified as paying customers. I've stayed at this hotel before and would stay again, but the service this last visit was very disappointing...

The island pacific was very clean, rooms comfortable and staff extremely helpful. It is close to tram and bus giving it easy and cheap access to all areas. Would return

Excellent value, very helpful and pleasant staff. Good location, right on the tram lines to Central Station. Very clean good quality room.

staff were extremely friendly. Hotel provided shuttle to and from airport, and a few convenient transportation options and Central several times each day. Very easy to get around. My friends in Hong Kong did not believe such a deal I got. Overall, good experience, definitely will stay there again next time.

I like the location in an older neighborhood. It is a high quality hotel that allows you to comfortably visit old Hong Kong. The staff is very nice and helpful. Our room was upgraded to a superior room so I do not know what a regular room is like. Our room felt just big enough and I understand it was a very good deal for Hong Kong. The room was very clean. The hotel offers many nice amenities but we were too busy sightseeing and did not take advantage of them.

Quite ok, but the room was supposed to be non smoking. There were no smoke when I arrived, but for sure, there has been some smoke in the past, so a real good total smoke removal clean is needed. Otherwise ok. Bathroom a little bit small. Bed Ok, view Good. Good price/performance.

The hotel is ideally situated from the airport express station on Hong Kong Island and has a regular free shuttle service that also goes as far as the peak tram station. While the location is a 15 minute walk from the nearest tourist district it has a tram line that runs regularly into the area and the area surrounding the hotel still has remenants of the warehouse district which is what it used to be. The hotel staff are incredibly helpful and they could not do enough.
