clean, comfortable, reasonable price

Very quiet and clean. Our pillows were flat and lumpy but told front desk and hopefully the next guest won't get them. Overall very good.

Room was less then average, front desk help didn't seem to know anything, asked about pizza delivery and nobody had a clue. Walls in the room were paper thin and the bath tub didn't drain, by the end of my shower the bath tub was full of water! If I wanted a bower I would have asked for an upgrade.

We checked in the first night and had double beds - not recommended for teen siblings or anyone of average height; crowded and uncomfortable. We moved in the morning to 2 queens and were more comfortable...a big HOWEVER is that there appeared to be a larger than normal gap between the bottom of the room door and the floor - we heard everything going on in the hall and I did have to call front desk at midnight to ask them to have the guests in the next room quiet their voices. The hotel was lovely, the breakfast portions were larger than expected but the hot tub was pretty dirty(evidence of scum around the rim of the tub - ewww) The staff was helpful, accommodating and friendly. We'd stay there again but would ask for a 2nd floor room - even though it doesn't have an elevator.

the hotel was a fantastic value, nice rooms and helpful staff. the bath tubs are very small, being nearly 6 feet tall I couldn't stretch my legs out while sitting down in the tub. the restaraunt is attached to the lobby so very convenient and fairly priced. close to everything, we will definitely go there again.

Description and pictures made it sound like the hotel was completely remodeled. This is far from the case. It has had a new coat of paint and some upgrades but its not complete and the upgrades are low in quality. It's a motel grade hotel. 2 out of 5 at best. Many other hotels in the area offer more for relatively the same price.

Our stay was very satisfying and the staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and we had a good sleep. Breakfast was good too. The only drawback in my opinion is that it was overpriced and especially for off season rates. I would recommend it highly if the prices were lower.

The hotel was in the process of renovation during our stay but construction wasn't a problem. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was nice and bright and clean. Our only issue came when the bar had what I think was karaoke night! We had a room directly across a courtyard from it and it was really loud! I think it would have been loud in any room. When reading the reviews before we booked I was concerned when others said it was loud but I thought maybe they meant construction ( which wouldn't be at night ) so I didn't think it mattered. But this was.....wow. Just a heads up. If you book, ask for a room as far from the bar as possible. Unless of course you like that sort of thing. So overall, great but night was loud.

The room was dirty and the viewer in the door was installed backwards so people could see into the room from the hallway. The gym was new and in good shape and the courtyard was nice. Not a bad hotel but they really need to step up in the house keeping department

Just fine...well priced, helpful staff. Older facilities, but very usable..had a great swim in the pool. Did not get a chance to go to restaurant or bar.

Staff were very good. Rooms were not so clean. I had to change rooms after the first night because of the paper thin walls and noisy neighbors. Hotel undergoing renovations so was still a little messy outside.

We were just there for a weekend but we did enjoy our stay. Staff was helpful and pleasant.

Reasonable price for the service. A little stuffy inside and may be coming from the old carpet. It's unde renovation during my stay.

The hotel was under renovations which would have been nice to know prior to booking. Room was comfortable, pool was great, but our hallway smelled terrible and when we told the desk person, it was obvious that he didnt care.

Would have been better if rooms had micro-wave ovens.The bathroom fresh-air fans had improper exhaust outlets in both the rooms we used, so the humidity stayed-in which was very inconvenient. Good thing -the room was clean, furniture good & beds comfortable.

Wouldn't stay here again unless I had to. Probably the noisiest room I've ever stayed in (loud air conditioning, loud buzzing fridge), not very good linen or toiletries. Not very comfortable overall. It's OK if you just have an over-nighter.

The hotel was great, but the adjoining restaurant was not so hot. The service was good, but the food was very lousy.--too salty, shells in the eggs and the other dish tasted funny.

It was acceptable. Since the hotel is currently being renovated, it has some problems. Some of them, however, are not acceptable to me. For instance, the bathroom door in our room did not close properly. The pillows were old and not very comfortable. The door lock seemed a little sketchy and did not open easily with the card key. On the other hand, the room was clean, staff were nice and the restaurant did a commendable job.

It is what I expected, being there was a softball tounament weekend. Noisy! All in all not a bad hotel, It wouldn't be my first choice. Pub food sucked. Hotel restaurant breakfast everyday was excellent.

Friendly staff, convenient location for shopping,lovely garden area. Very quiet considering all of the construction that is going on. Would definitely return!

Very happy excellent service, wonderful staff and very clean and comfortable rooms.

Room was clean and well equipped. Staff helpful and polite. Restaurant had good food but a little pricey. We enjoyed our stay and go back when in the area in the future.

Do cats enjoy these same rooms? I had a 'not-too-serious' allergic reaction. The room was great for the dog and we had a picnic outside as well. Loved the patio access to the dog park.

Overall I had a bad experience and won't book again.

We went to Vernon to ski Silver Star. This hotel was very convienent, right on the road to the mountain. The pool was very quiet and not overly chlorinated. If you have little ones who are not strong swimmers bring water wings or a life jacket for swimming as teh pool is 4-8 feet deep. We will definetly stay again as everyone was happy!

Villa Green Hotel is an older hotel with quite dated look. The pool and the gym would need serious renovations. The rooms however are large, clean and very comfortable. Since the hotel is located on a very busy intersection it should have better quality windows installed to separate rooms from the street noise. The hotel should also consider replacing old TVs in the rooms.

Hotel staff were very good. Rooms very nice although bathrooms small. Food outlets extreemly good. Would stay again.

Great place to stay. Clean rooms and loved that even the large pool was warm. Restaurant was fantastic with good prices.

perfectly located for skiing at Silver Star, could have stayed for several nights if we had not booked accommodation on the mountain. Staff were so helpful and even 'stored' our second car when it could not make it up the hill. Breakfast was excellent and nicely presented. Would definitely stay again. Last hotel I stayed at was the Fairmont in Seattle and apart from the obvious differences, the beds were just as comfortable. Thank you.

Nicely refurbished 6 story hotel. Restaurant was nice with good food. Large sports bar in hotel. Pleasant staff. Swimming pool and hot tub were clean and had been refurbished. Miy stay was very nice and comfortable.

The Village Green Hotel has always been there as long as I can remember (I'm 40 this year), so I was expecting it to be an older hotel and was very, very pleasantly surprised at the condition of it. The lobby was really nice and my room was perfect. I think they are in the process of renovating. The room was also very clean, the bed was very comfortable, all around I had a great stay. My only complaint, and this is a very mild one, is that the chambermaid could have done a better job of cleaning up during the 5 nights that I was there. She seemed to just take dirty towels and straighten the bed, no vacuuming, clean sheets, bathtub cleaning, etc. But other than that, I will definitely stay there again, and in fact am planning a trip at Easter.

The lobby doesn't give a great first impression, but the room was clean and comfortable. Don't check in for the luxury, but it's certainly an adequate place to stay. We used the pool and hot tub and felt good about it. Service and prices in the cafe were good too. Front desk staff very nice.

Good hotel, nice stay. Would use it again.

Nice hotel at a reasonable price. A bit far from Kelowna (40 minutes north to Kelowna) and the southern part of the Okanagan Valley. If you plan to visit the valley, up to Ossoyoss, this hotel is not the better choice, because of its location.

Stayed 2 nights. There was dirt (pieces of dirt fallen off someones shoes) in the hallway the night we checked in. The middle of the next day it was still there so we mentioned it to the front desk. The next morning when we checked out it was still there. Although the room was satisfactory, seeing the dirt in the hallway gave us a bad impression about the hotel.

At first glace this hotel was great! Clean, spacious rooms, comfortable pillows and beds. However it was noisy! We could hear all the plumbing from everybody on the floor and the room above. The air conditioner kept the room very comfortable but blew the air directly onto the beds. If you can handle the plumbing noise or find a room that isn't noisy would be a very nice, clean, well-kept and affordable hotel.

Rooms are basic, but clean. The pool could be a bit cleaner and the restaurant was somewhat disappointing. Acceptable, but not ideal for business travel, nor for romantic getaways. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual, staff were friendly, and prices were reasonable. Some rooms border a inner courtyard garden containing trees, flowers, and a fountain. Seems popular with young families and retired people. Found it to be a comfortable place to stay for a few nights with friends and family. Would recommend it to others with similar expectations.

We'd been camping around BC but having issues finding a spot the night we stayed at the Village Green. We had our dog with us so it was imperative we find a dog-friendly place to stay. What we got was a great hotel with a nice pool and garden area AND the mother of all fenced in dog areas! I was stunned. Had to be 20 yards wide by a good 50-50 yards long? Our room opened right onto the dog area which was well kept and clean. It was darn near like being at home with all the freedom our pup had. I'll be spreading the word to dog lovers everywhere!

The room was good for the price--good value. The rooms are not vacuumed very often but the beds are clean and comfortable. We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant as no one came to take our order or offer us a drink. We waited 10 min and then left. We did find a wonderful restaurant downtown called the "Eclectic Med". Great food, nice wine list.
