PINEWOOD INN - דרום אגם טאהו

The Pinewood inn was a nice place to stay because of the location. Just remember you get what you pay for. I would stay here again, due to the location right off the road and down the streets from the Casinos. The staff was nice, I was able to check in before actual check in time. Only stayed for one night, less then 24 hours.

Good location walking distance from the ski lift and all the bars-stores but there is a problem with the noise. Actually walls are so thin and rooms are connected with the double doors. Of course those double doors have space below where the noise is coming from. Also, if you are downstairs you will hear everything upstairs. For the price it is pretty good deal. Good location, clean rooms but hope that you will not get a crazy neighbor. Keep in mind that if you have noisy neighbor front desk will be there to go out and talk to them at any time 24-7. Tip for you if it is cold is put the towel at the bottom of the entrance door since there is a thin space there where the cold air is coming in.

Okay!! I know we were just staying at this budget hotel for the night before we hit our destination.. still.. you wouldn't want a dingy room where the heater smells and there is hardly any light inside..the microwave and fridge don't work!! and the bathroom door can't be latched..my skin got scraped off a bit when I tried to do it.. My husband and me were just waiting to leave.. There are A LOTTTT of motels around the area..so u don't have to be in this one..

Great for the price. Room is Not beautiful.

I was very happy with our stay it was close to everything and the people were very nice to deal with

There was very little water pressure in the tub. A mirror in the room ad not been cleaned in a wile. Not too friendly reception.

The room is small but with three queen size beds, it' perfect for us with three adults and three children.

Clean, quiet, bed was too soft

Needs to be remodeled. Open elec.wires in bathroom. Stained towls ect.

The Managers keep it clean and well stocked. The need for a light breakfast on the premises is quite important. Overall, the location and quietness of the area allows you to rest during the early or late hours. (A treat !)

for the money and convienance, it was great!

The staff was helpful and the room was all that you needed for a place to sleep in Tahoe. Free WI-FI, Coffee, refrigerator, microwave, comfortable bed. What else would you need?

My daughter and I, went to Lake Tahoe for the weekend and stay at Pinewood Inn. It was bad experience :( They make customer feel uncomfortable at check in. don’t feel welcome. The room was not clear, the carpet was sicker; the towels smell bad, smell like oil, the toilet does not work well, and they really need to put in a new toilet that for sure. When we were checking out, they don’t seem to show that they care whether if we had a nice stay or not. They were mean. The managers say “Just drop off the key in the box and lives” with a attitude, That was really RUDE.

pleasant atmosphere needed comfy bed for the night fit the bill cost fit my needs also

it was alright for the price you pay. its like u get what u pay for. the wifi didnt seem to work there like they said. the beds were clean but they were worn down like a fat person has been sleeping there. the shower was really small but the spa was a good size for two mid size people to fit in. The lady that seemed to be running the place didnt seem to speak very good english. The place is about a mile or two to the state line, so everything is kinda in walking distance if you dont mind walking.

Good hotel for the price of the area. Room was dark and showing it's age.

Location is good. Short walk to shopping and dining area. Room is clean and tidy. The ONLY thing for me was that I don't remembered seeing trash basket in the room except a tiny one in the bathroom. Also, there was no alarm clock to know the time as well. Other than that, I would recommand this place for stay.

If there's nothing else left then a traveler might not mind really. It was kind of old, very small bathroom, and not particularly convenient. It was basically clean and neat but shouldn't be considered above a 1-star motel.

the room was small and they had no portable crib we could get for the room.The rate was good price and I may consider if it were a smaller group

They gave aus a little trouble about our check-in rate for the room we requested, but it was worked out. Very nice room and the view of snow falling really added to the wonderful windows they have. Bed could be a little bit more confortable, but, we have had a lot worse. Rugs need cleaning, but, it is the middle of winter sooooooooo.

This hotel was great and we were so happy we stayed. Its a little dated but overall nice. The people running it are very nice as well. We ended up staying another night and the second room we got had a very large bath tub with jets. So awesome! We enjoyed it so much. Also the beds were pretty comfy too which surprised us. We will definitely be staying there again on our next trip to tahoe. Its also not too far from downtown. I think it cost us $6.50 for our cab ride to Harrahs

Check-in and check-out was quick and the room was clean which also included a small refrigerator and microwave. I stayed here because it had the lowest rate on hotels.com. Not bad for what you get; a clean room with refrigerator, microwave and a tube tv. The "smoke" detector went off, I was in a smoking room.

If you want a roach motel, with little power, fuses that blow out with a small breeze, snow that builds up and then they through it around your car, and a really expensive rate this place will suit. But I think it is a total rip off.

Extremely dirty and unsanitary. Clogged toilet and drains. Couldn't take a shower. Hair all over sheets and pillows. Absolutely ridiculous.

The spa room at this motel was worth far more than I paid for it. The spa was great!

The room was clean and spacious enough for two people. The microwave oven and coffee maker were in good condition. This was worth the price.

Room was alright but Service was very unfriendly!

First night was uncomfortble pillows VERY flat. The next day had to go buy my own.The second night came in after the Tim McGraw concert was very tired went right to sleep!! I was awaken by someone trying to come through my wall behind my bed tried callin front desk to complain phone didnt work!!! They kids behind me continued to party I stayed awake finally in the morning I complained when I saw the staff was awake.I was told why didnt you come to office last night? Oh im sorry in my night clothes!! Long story short they would not refund me my money for the night and told me I should have woke up and went somewhere else and I still would not have gotten my money back!!! They are awfull they are a low budget motel spend the money stay in a nicer place!!!!! DONT STAY THERE!!!!!
