Three Rivers Inn - Sedro Woolley

There are no outstanding features to this motel; it's just a place to get a good night's rest. The best feature was the quiet...until you turned on the air conditioning unit. It was, by far, the noisiest I've ever heard. I slept with the unit off all night. I would have opened the window to the great outdoor weather, but that doesn't seem an intelligent move for a solo female traveler on the ground floor...I don't care where I'm staying. Perhaps motels that have windows that open could provide a security bar to prevent unwelcome access through the window. The worst feature of this motel was the "fit" of the door. Although it locked sufficiently to be secure, there were large gaps around the entire door frame, letting in unwanted light. This also seems to me to be something of a security hazard, as there are plenty of opportune spots to put a pry bar. There is no security lock on the door, other than the deadbolt. Otherwise, the motel was clean enough and the bed was comfortable.

I was really unhappy there was no safety chain on the door. Other than that, the room was just ok. The breakfast area in TINY. We could not find any room

I went on a couple's vacation to see the tulips in Skagit Valley. The hotel staff gave friendly, helpful tips on avoiding traffic. The free breakfast is minimal, however, there's not much besides bagels and muffins.

I love how there is a door to a central courtyard that has a pool. Thought we were there off-season, it would be great for summer to open the door and be able to keep an eye on your kids from the room while they played outside, in the pool etc. There are even 2 patio chairs at each doorway so sit in the sun or just enjoy the fresh air. The only thing I really did not like was the heat did not have a thermostat shut off- it just kept running.

There was no coffee in our room. Coffee maker-yes. Coffee - no. Also, the heat was not central. It was a wall unit so it was kind of noisy when trying to sleep.

The room was clean and comfortable. The exterior was in need of a little attention, specifically the pool and hot tub. We choose to stay here because it was not a long drive to the ferry terminal in Anacortes and the price was reasonable.

I stayed here with my three kids while in town for a family event. I found the hotel to be convenient and comfortable. Nothing fancy, but adequate for what we needed. Front desk staff were friendly and efficient. Hotel had a pool and hot tub, as well as a small continental breakfast; I wasn't aware it had any of those amenities, but will remember for next time. Our room was on the 2nd floor, and had a small balcony that overlooked a courtyard and pool on the backside of the hotel -- very nice.

Walls WAY TOO THIN!!!! Couple next door obviously drunk yelled & argued until well after 12:30. Finally called their room and told them to be QUIET!!

I was a little concerned when we first arrive. The map enclosed with the booking was wrong and had us turning north on Park Street and took us to a vacant lot at a dead end street. But have no fear, it was actually on the south one of the street on South Park. Still a little concerned because it was right on the highway. Room itself was quiet, no road sounds. Room had 2 doors and the back door took us to a little patio, with 2 chairs and a table and lovely pool and hot tub area. Every room has a balcony or pool access away from hwy noise. Continental breakfast a little sad as no place to eat it but no problem to take back to room. Great value for the money. Good Chinese restaurant next door...huge portions. Front desk was pleasant and helpful. Room was clean, lots of towels.

The location is good, if you're going to Cascade Pass, or coming. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it. It's an OK place, nothing to complain about really.

Everything was great accept parking. Had to park a long way from room.

The beds were very comfortable. the contenental breakfast was a bit sparse.

Very clean LARGE room with 2 queen beds. During the day you can see it is nicely appointed and even had a balcony overlooking the pool courtyard. Nice restaurant next door--recently renovated. Great pizza and other foods--Ivar's clam chowder is always a must when I'm in the Seattle area. Completely adequate as a "stop" along the way!

Overall it was a decent stay. The room was clean and comfortable and had a good sized mini fridge and microwave and a working AC. The doors to our room were incredibly difficult to open, we had to throw our whole body weight into them to get them to open and close which was a very tiring and loud process. Breakfast wasn't anything special but it was there. I think if the price had been a quarter less than what it was it would have been exactly what I would have expected.

Good room for decent price. Small area outside back door to sit - away from traffic - that was nice. Parking lot was difficult as there were numerous construction vehicles taking up most of the space. Continental breakfast was poor, but we would stay here again.

I was pleasantly surprised. The reviews I had read were not great. The place was clean and comfy.

This hotel is a little old and sad. The toilet leaked, the TV had no local channels and the internet connection was so slow that everyone gave up on trying to use the computer. The decor was very outdated and there was really no room for the family to sit down for breakfast - room for 4 only. The employees were nice and helpful with directions. The pool was clean and it was nice to sit out on the patio area. The restaurant next door was really good. I'd probably try somewhere different next time.

We thought it was a fine place to sleep . Pool and inner court yard with back access door was a nice set up. It's a little older but well kept up and clean. Nice front desk person. Continental breakfast was all we needed with boiled eggs and bagels and english muffins,coffee and juice and fruit. We ate supper at a Mexican restaurant that was quite nice and huge portions. Liked the wait staff there as well.

If you're planning a trip to the North Cascades, this is a great place to stay. Friendly, comfortable and convenient.

This is a simple hotel conveniently located for adventures in the North Cascades. The staff is friendly and efficient, the room scrupulously clean, lots of parking. Breakfast pretty basic -- breads and oatmeal -- plenty of coffee. Negatives were noisy heater/air conditioner and thin room walls.

Had everything we needed at a good price. Wireless internet was slow. Liked having both a desk and a table and chairs. Heater unit a bit noisy. Would stay there again.

Apparently the Inn is under new management. I dealt with the new manager Kris. She was accomodating, helpful, friendly, and gave me a great deal on the room. I will highly recommend the Three Rivers, and when I have to get up North again, it will definitely be my stop. Thanks so much Kris... EB..

The room was really clean but the sink had a slow drain and the heater didn't work real well. As a matter of fact we just about froze to death. I turned the heat up to 91 and I don't think that it ever even got up to 65. This is the third year we have come up there and we don't know if we will stay there next year or not. I know that they are under new management and they are trying their best to make things right.

This inexpensive motel in a great location. It's under new management and is a fine place to use as a base for traveling to San Juan Islands and the North Cascades National Park. The town of Sedro-Wooley is quaint. Three Rivers includes a basic continental breakfast that is fresh and tasty. If you want a complete breakfast, the town has a few places that are just within a few minutes away.

Room very noisy--Shower noise from next door rooms very load.

This hotel was very basic and needed some updating but we really just needed a place to sleep as we headed to our ultimate destination of Leavenworth via the beautiful north Cascades loop. As far as a simple, easy to find, location for a one night stay it was just fine. I would not want to make it a destination spot hotel however. Front desk employees were nice. Area seemed quiet. Worked for what we needed it to be.

This hotel is old and on a busy road. While the rates are fine, that's about it for this place.

The only complaint was that the pool and hot tub had not been cleaned and the hot tub jets did not work. Of course this time of the year the leaves and all are falling so it is hard to keep on top of the cleaning all the time.

My needs were pretty basic. I was just looking for convenient lodging on the way to my destination. Accomodations were fine for a late arrival/early departure. Room fan helped block out any outside noise. No complaints.

clean room, good service, friendly staff. Off season, so the pool was not available (green) other than that, and the shower not having hot water in the afternoon, it was a wonderful stay! I will stay here again!

I stayed in this hotel purely for its proximity to a workshop I was taking. The room was clean and spacious, bed comfortable, shower hot and good pressure. Continental breakfast and location left something to be desired - but it was perfectly quiet at night. Realistically should have been a bit cheaper for what and where it was.

It was a nice small town inn, close to our family wedding.

The room was on the second level and away from the street resulting in no street noise. It was in good condition and included in room coffee service and hair dryer. HBO channels were nice although hard to hear over the noise of the window heater / cooling conditioner. Comfortable bed. Had a nice view of the pool area and sunset. Neither the spa or pool were in service and the ice machine was out of service for the winter. I found a couple of small hairs remaining near the sink area but the room seemed clean overall. Overall, given the rate, value was good.

The hotel needs updating.
