View & balcony is worth the upgrade. Nice little breakfast box delivered in the morning. Really comfy bed & pillows. Lots of restaurants and shops on 5th close by. Nice room size. Open concept didn't bother me because I was traveling solo. Staff was super accommodating.

What a great surprise. We loved it. They even brought delicious croissants to our room for breakfast. Le Bleu is spacious, modern and pretty. The staff is eager to please and very attentive. You will enjoy your stay here!

The MOST HORRIBLE HOTEL EXPERIENCE !!! Not only was I not told about the Credit card hold situation but the girl at the from desk wasn't helpful AT ALL!! It took me 2 1/2 girls to get to the room which reeked of mildew! Their were no toiletries and trying to call the front desk from the room phone was like trying to reach the President! I will never go back to this Hotel!

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It was wonderful having a bar and restaurant on site. The view of Manhattan from the rooftop bar was great! Can't wait to visit again when the weather is better.

Generally this hotel is too expensive for me. But I got lucky on line and got a reasonable price. Really cool place. Wheelchair accessible and closet to my brother's new apartment . Comfortable bed, clean and very hip. Too bad I'll probably never be able to stay there again. Way too $$$&

While the room was bright and cheerful, there were two big stains on the carpet that gave us the creeps. However, that being said, the room itself was very clean and so was the bathroom. The noise level was loud when people were speaking in a room across from us. The location was great if you need to visit Park Slope.

Great stay. A little different floor plan with open bathroom facilities but that's the way it is, and it was no problem for us. Blue is the theme, and the blue lighting elevator might be not so desirable for cluster phobics, especially because you cannot tell if your moving or not and was also kind of slow, but everything else was great.

Very good hotel, staff was amazing. Will always look to stay their when in Brooklyn. The restaurant was excellent food as well. A lot of small very good restaurants down the road as well.

Le Bleu is a very nice choice to stay in Brooklyn. Immediate neighborhood has an industrial feel and seems a bit seedy but the hotel is only a 2 block walk to lots of shops and restaurants on 5th Avenue. The hotel is very clean with excellent appointments and hip styling. The beds were very comfortable and I appreciated that they have done away with the tiny and wasteful hotel size shampoos and conditioners, and replaced them with larger, refillable bottles. All in all, a very good choice for a Brooklyn stay.

Aside from the fact that this hotel is extremely clean, extremely secure, staffed by very knowledgeable and delightful people....I have to warn people about one irritating problem....On the list of services it states free parking. (one said limited, but I didn't see that immediately) This is actually why I booked this hotel. Truthfully, I should have known better..Parking in Brooklyn is horrible on a good day....Keep in mind there are 48 rooms and maybe 20 parking spaces.We had a spot..but were told if we took the car out that evening, odds are, there would not be a vacant spot upon return. ...But...they do have a car service. We were going to Bay Ridge for dinner (@70 blocks on 5th)..For $12.00,plus tip each way, we were picked up at the hotel, and returned to the hotel when we were done..It could not have been easier and the price was well worth it....Recomment: highly

I used to live in Brooklyn and now travel here for work every other week. I was hesitant to stay here because I was afraid that since you can see the hotel from the highway, noise would be an issue. I ended up booking the hotel after all, because due to Sandy and the holiday season in NYC hotel rooms are few and far between. I was happy surprised that the hotel is well appointed. I am a seasoned business traveler so I have stayed at many hotels. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I really liked the set up and modern design of the room. The hotel has a restaurant and bar that are operated by an independent restaurant owner and the food is delicious. I recommend this hotel to anyone that wants convenience, and chic. Room was clean but there was a stain in the carpet as I walked into the room. It looked like bleach was spilled. The shower was awesome but if you are traveling with someone you are shy around this is not the hotel for you. If you are in a low floor you have a poor view from the back of the hotel.

This was a great find! The hotel is small but offers all the necessary amenities. The room was relatively big, ultra modern, comfortable and clean. The bar and restaurant on the top floor are great. We chose this for its proximity to the Barclays Center where we attended a concert. We walked there and back and had dinner on 5th Avenue before at an amazing Peruvian restaurant, thanks to the recommendation by the hotel front desk. The front desk staff was very congenial and helpful. The neighborhood was great too!

We always enjoy staying at this hotel. Staff are very helpful, and the rooms is clean and well-appointed.

The hotel is fine, just nothing special. They never allow you to check in early- we have stayed there a number of times. It is reasonably clean and fairly convenient to Manhattan. Rates are reasonable. They have limited, free parking- first come, first serve. They bring a box breakfast to your room. Rooms are adequate size. Not large.

helpful and friendly staff, however, the walls are thin and you can hear tv, talking from other rooms...also, doors slam loudly and breakfast service brought to the room is announced loudly in the hall early in the am

Hotel was as advertised. Impressed with the staff, smiling and very willing to help make our stay everything we were hoping for. The continental breakfast delivered to our door every morning was a nice plus -- warm toasted bagels is the way to go! We would recommend it to our friends.

The hotel location is okay but only because there are stores and restaurants just 1 block away. The restaurant on site is only open in the evening and the food is good. The continental breakfast is delivered to your room and is just carbs with no juices or fruit. However; "Bagel World" is in the next block and has a big menu just not a lot of seating space. I have stayed at this hotel before and would again.

Everything was great at the hotel. Staff was excellent service on par with or exceeded any hotel that I have ever stayed. The only problem was the shower leaks and the carpet in the room was wet and made the room smell a little musky.

We stayed here prior to a cruise. Unfortunately, this was the same week that Hurricane Sandy hit the NYC area. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and allowed us to extend our stay 2 nights while we waited for the arrival of our ship. The location is ok - it's a block or two to restaurants and shops but it's an easy walk.

Convenient location for Brooklyn and easy access to Manhattan. Spotlessly clean room at back of hotel was quiet, overlooking truck rental park, but nice view of skyline. Good wi-fi access. Staff were excellent - charming and helpful. Breakfast would have been improved if some fresh fruit had been included as an item of choice. Only other complaint was the inordinately loud noise made by the cistern when flushing the lavatory.

Upon arrival, after driving for 5 hours, all was well until the staff requested a credit card that was not a debit card, for "incidentals", snacks, drinks, etc. No one had a card that was not a debit. We frantically called family members and eventually found someone. But then they said we couldn't do it over the phone. They needed a picture of the front and back of the card. Are you serious? By the time this happened the clerk took pity on us and let us check in "as a courtesy." Being shaken down for $20 is not my idea of a good time.

Trying to check in I was told that a personal credit card was mandatory & they couldn't accept a bank card or cash for incidentals. I've never heard of this before & have stayed in more than 100 different hotels. Once I was able to get ahold of someone gracious enough to let me use theyr card I was able to check in. The rooms are spacious & clean but not designed for "shy" room mates as toilet is separated with frosted glass and shower is regular glass but offers a privacy curtain. We got a room with a balcony (well worth it). They off full size shower tools (shampoo,conditioner & bodywash) so u can skip packing those. In room Coffee service features starbucks coffee :-) & continetal breakfast served to your room. Location is very safe 9for new york standards) & there is a ton to do without having to leave park slope. The true gen of his hotel is the staff service....it is very personalized & genuine. Is like to thank a specific staff member named audry. We will be back.

Was very nice. Relatively expensive, but probably just because it's in Brooklyn. The room was nice, but it was designed with space conservation in mind. The sink is actually part of the room, and the shower and toilet are separated from the sleeping are by frosted glass (and a curtain you can put around the shower). Not bad, just not like a standard hotel room. It's probably romantic, but since I was staying with my brother that really wasn't the point! The amenities were very nice, and we had a tiny little balcony too. Surrounding neighborhood isn't super fancy, but the location is great if you want to actually stay in brooklyn.

well managed hotel, convenient and reasonable.

It's a fun room, with a glass-wall shower. The location, right by Park Slope is amazing. In general it was very convenient and nice.

Nice stay, a little out of the way for manhattan, but only a couple blocks from the major subway routes to mid town. Staff was friendly and efficient. I would stay here again.

I thought the room was very nice. The beds were comfortable and what a tv! The morning concierge (Audrey?) was exceptional. I am not sure that was her name but she is the friendly, bubbly and helpful one. She absolutely went out of her way to help this novice navigate the subway. I also want to mention Alex. He was the server in the bar the evening I was up there. They were experiencing some distribution problems and were out of chardonnay. This young man sent out for chardonnay just for me. He was a delight to converse with also. The view from the bar is not to be missed. I saw the sunset while I was up there and it was incredible. Many restaurants were just a block away on 5th and more importantly, the subway was only 4 blocks way. I enjoy the contemporary vibe of the hotel. My only advice is that if you are staying in a double room be prepared for a lack of privacy between the room and the bathroom. There is only a frosted door. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
