Shaker Farm Bed and Breakfast - אנפילד

We had the room over the dining room, and music was turned on at 7am. It probably didn't seem loud downstairs but really resonated through the floor. Breakfast was also _at_ 8, not a range of times as in other B&Bs. That said it was a tasty breakfast beautifully presented with fresh fruit. and the bed was very comfortable, and the hosts were very nice.

I enjoyed the stay more than my husband. The breakfasts were delicious ; eggs benedict, German pancakes, and French toast I thought were delicious but the 2 carb breakfasts he wasn't as happy with because of their carbohydrate content. The bedding and room were generally clean. The bathroom had a few dust balls in a corner but the fixtures were clean. Our smaller less expensive room had a bathroom so tiny that my 5 foot 9 inch husband's knees hit the bathroom door when sitting on the toilet. Kathy , our hostess, was kind and friendly. The living room at the B and B is also Kathy and Joe's living room however we were out most of the day and evening so this didn't really matter to us.wifi was not always reliable in our bedroom but was accessible downstairs.The Band B is about 10 minutes from the highway and downtown Enfield.

Very welcoming and friendly. Very homey touches and great breakfast. Visiting the nearby Shaker Museum was very interesting added bonus to our trip.

We checked in late after an all day cross country flight. We were given a room with queen bed despite the fact that we booked a king. We were told it was the last room and we were just too tired to argue about it. Breakfast was great and the proprietors were friendly and helpful.

The dining room is lovely and we had a wonderful breakfast. The room was very clean and pretty with a really comfortable bed. My husband appreciated having our own TV and bathroom, though the bathroom was quite tiny. It is a nice setting with the beautiful lake nearby, close to wonderful villages, and very convenient and easy to get to.

My colleague and I rented two rooms for overnight stay instead of traditional business hotel. It was amazing. The hotel is conveniently located within a walking distance to the local Shakers museum. So it was a nice walk in the evening. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, each of them with private bathroom, TV, AC and wireless internet. It is a historic house filled with antique and decorated very nicely. The owners are very friendly and we learned a lot about history of the place. In the morning the breakfast was a piece of art!

We absolutely loved our room at the Inn at Shaker Farm. Cathy and her husband were such gracious hosts, and the room was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious as well, and all at a very reasonanle price. I would definitely recommend this lovely inn.

The owners of this B&B, Kathy and Joe are a very special and friendly couple. They served an elegant breakfast each morning. The king size bed was VERY comfortable. The area was very quiet so we had no trouble falling asleep. We highly recommend this Bed & Breakfast.

Owners are wonderful, room was comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. I definitely recommend Shaker Farm to others!

We could not have been more pleased with our stay! We were instantly soothed by our room decorated in light blue and white and were plesantly surprised by the privacy and quiet we were surrounded by. Our hosts could not have been more friendly and we thank you for the dinner reccomendation of Three Tomatoes...Yummy! However, breakfast could not be beat...a simple walk downstairs and we were greeted with fresh fruit, juice, coffee, apple tart, followed by a gourmet version of eggs benedict...delish! We will definitely return again! Thank you!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Shaker Farm B&B for two nights, over Dartmouth's Homecoming weekend. Shaker Farm was such a charming alternative to a chain hotel. It made the weekend a getaway, not just another trip. The house was always very quiet, and our room on the top floor of the house was very private. We didn't have to share a bathroom, which made the stay that much better! Our hostess Cathy was very accommodating and presented her guests with gourmet breakfasts! ...We were also responsible for eating all cookies she put out... yum!

enjoyed our large comfortable room. temperature in room a little cooler than we like,but the bedding kept us warm. beautiful breakfast both in presentation,amount and taste. hosts very accomadating. had to go quite a distance to eat supper but the place recommended had very good food.

We loved our stay in the Shaker Farm B&B! The hosts were very kind and helpful in suggesting good restaurants and things to do. Both the home and the surroundings are beautiful! And the breakfasts are gourmet! Our only complaint--and it is minor--is that our bathroom was very small. However, I believe it was the smallest of all of the rooms so the others would be larger. The bedroom itself though, was very cute and comfortable. We really loved the house and the surounding area and would stay there again given the opportunity!

I will want to bring my wife theere so she can enjoy it. The breakfast was great and Cathy was a great hostest.

Very nice place. Quiet area. We ended up with the room with the queen bed on the lower level, but that actually worked out well. We had a sitting area outside our room and had immediate access to the outside gazebo. The place is spotless and the hosts were very inviting. Would go again.

I grew up in NH and have driven by this place hundreds of times - little did I know! Owners are awesome, we arrived late and waiting on the kitchen counter was a plate full of homemade cookies with a note to help ourselves to a bedtime snack. Breakfast each day was wonderful and Cathy even packed us a bag of muffins when we left. We will definitely stay here again!

Kind master and his wife, great breakfast with splendid german pancake and warmy room. I'd like to visit again.
