O Hotel - לוס אנג'לס

Fantastic hotel. My only complaint is about the shower heads. They are not fixed to the wall and the water pressure causes them to shoot everywhere except you. It's a removable hand held shower head with a cable and I had to rig up the cable in a way to point the water down. I also had to leave a note for housekeeping not to touch the shower head. Which they respected. I stay in this hotel 4x's a year for work and this is now the 2nd trip of the year I've had to deal with this. It's awful and enough to make me find a new place to stay.

The hotel is a block from my office, so that was why I stayed. I used to eat at the restaurant when I lived in LA. The room was tiny and the window faced a block wall. The adjustable shower head would not stay in the up position so I had to hold it with one hand and shower with the other. When I did try to hang it up, the water faced the glass door and ended up flowing out of the stall. I had to sop it up with towels.

location of it was awesome, walking distance from STAPLES center. People were friendly, ambience was great, rims were clean and modern looking.

Great hotel, great service.

Lobby is beautiful, making you feel like you are checking into a 4 star boutique hotel & check in process was quick however walls are paper thin, corridor needs to be cleaned up and rooms need to get some attention or a make over. Cheaply put together, bed is not comfortable and above head air conditioner is noisy, reminded me of a hotel 6 room with white linenes and shiny polyester curtains. Sorry but this should be a three star hotel. Details should be throughout the hotel not just in the lobby!

Everyone was very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I would definitely stay at the O Hotel again.

Place was fine- location location location- I would stay again. Basically a fair downtown big city price-

The parking is fabulous, $12 for 24 hours literally ten steps from the O Hotel.We were there for a hockey game at Staples and it was a ten minute walk. We also felt safe walking back to our room at the end of the night. We had no problems checking in. The elevator is just a little creepy, but completely functional nonetheless. We had a queen sized bed and a perfect sized room for two people staying just a quick night. Our view out the window was a brick wall, but we were only in the room to sleep so it wasn't a problem. The shower head is a little too contemporary, you could either hold it in your hand or hope it sticks in one spot so you aren't spraying the ceiling! Other than the shower, everything else in the room was great. We had a brand new tv in our room that hadn't been programmed yet, and Christopher at the front desk was knocking at our door to help us before we even hung up the phone. I paid about $200 after taxes for our queen sized room. Even though the room was clean and comfortable, I honestly wouldn't pay more than $100-150 at the most. Its probably location that bumps the price up so much, but it really was nice to be able to walk back after the game.

We attended the Sweet Sixteen at the Staples Center. The hotel was within walking distance of the arena, about three blocks. The neighborhood was safe with eating and shopping nearby. The rooms were modern, clean and quiet. Parking garage is right next door with a rate of $12 per day. Would definitely stay there again.

Hotel was amazing! Super adorable! Only downside is the lack of lighting in the room other than that I really enjoyed my stay!

We recently stayed one night at this hotel. It has a modern decor which we liked, a good atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff, good beds, clean rooms, and not all the stuff you really do not need if one only uses hotels to sleep in. The continental breakfast was as usual, but some yoghurt would have been nice. The area was pleasant, near Staples Center and the Convention Center, many restaurants, a nearby supermarket with good food, parking at reasonable rates within walking distance. Recommended.

O Hotel is a great hotel in a great location. Their restaurant/bar; conveniently called Bar Kitchen serves wonderful food and drinks. The hotel itself is unique and non-commercialized. Rooms are comfortable and have various amenities. Overall; a great choice!

Room was clean and modern, my only complaint was the shower was really awkward and uncomfortable to use.

You will pay more then just the amount through hotels.com. They call it a service fee but every other time I have booked on here I never get an additional service fee upon arrival. Cheap attempt to get a few extra bucks in my opinion.

I was in LA for business @ Dodger Stadium - the location was great. Loved the restaurant - in fact, I ate there 2 of my 3 nights! Had a great massage from Johnny at the spa. One suggestion - don't get a room by the elevator - I heard every single person go by.

Considering the relatively low price, this hotel provides a decent value for downtown LA. As always, downtown LA is fairly seedy though.

The hotel was chic & modern, and we were able to check in early (around 11 am). Lighting was dim in the elevator & hallways, but it might be the hotel "theme' - I guess it gave off a chic, romantic, lounge-y vibe to the hotel. Our room was clean and smelled nice when we first entered. Not very big, but had everything we needed, so we were satisfied. Modern decor and nice lighting. Perfect for romance, or if you like being able to control lighting in your room. Quick room service, although the ladies didn't quite understand our request for a second bathrobe. Booked the hotel mainly because of it's location to Staples Centre. We watched a concert, and were able to walk the 2.5 blocks safely. Although we enjoyed our stay very much, we would choose an alternate hotel if the price was right. We would pay the parking fees surrounding Staples, and stay somewhere outside of the downtown area.The neighborhood was clean, but seemed a bit sketchy as we walked back from Staples to the hotel. Several bums and scary-looking people were out and about.

Room was good though not very big.....very near to macy's and 2 blocks from indian restaurant.....there was almost nothing in the continental breakfast.

It was comfortable, but not my style. I don't really like "modern", but if you do, you'll love this place.

Hotel was a disaster -- sort of like a prison. View from my room was a cinder block wall -- 6 feet away. No light in the room. A spa with no service -- and the staff had no idea when/if they would open. Breakfast was less than adequate -- no fruit, no yogurt -- although I was charged a daily fee for the privileged. DON'T stay at the O Hotel.

The staff at this hotel is excellent, and very helpful. We had dinner in the hotel as well, and I must say the food was really good. It was a great stay and I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Location is what drew me to this hotel but service is definitely what stood out! Front desk was super- including when I was lost and called for help- and really made my stay special !! Neighborhood is musky and doesn't make you feel real safe. This was a great center for exploring the area at night!!!!

Modern, clean rooms and very accomodating staff; affordable parking next door.

Overall the hotel was no e, and the room was nice. Little overpriced but its L. A. Noise was a problem at 4:00 in the morning which is something they should look into. Maybe a charge if someone reports noise. But other than that it was a great hotel. Very modern and nice looking!

Stayed here for 2nd time for a night out at the Staples Center. Convenient location to LA Live. Room is nice, however bathroom is a bit small and our floor squeaked. Could use a bit of soundproofing, but not unlike most other hotels. Overall we were happy and would stay here again.

While my stay was ok, the hotel did not clearly communicate their daily "resort fee". I don't understand why they don't simply add this non-negotiable fee to your daily room rate vs. play games & add it separately. Due to this fact, I cannot recommend and will not stay at the O Hotel again

The hotel was recommended by a friend for its lobby and restaurant downstairs, a good place to meet people if you have several meetings to fit in.I had to be downtown for work, so Indeed, that was the best part of the place. The lobby and restaurant (where I also ate) are good. When I arrived, the first room I got was really noisy next to a vent or so. I had no problem getting another room on another floor. This one was better. Rooms are small, the beds are comfortable. There is only a shower and everything seemed a bit run down, little things, some chips off the bed frame, small but obvious (easy to paint over), not quiet white anymore shower floor and sink (again easy to just maintain so it always looks fresh) it was all clean though. Most annoying for me were the lack of light both because most rooms face a brick wall so no day light comes in when you open the curtains. The biggest minus point also had to do with light again (and yes I understand it was a design decision as light everywhere in elevator and hallways was dim) but both the desk light and bed lights were in a corner and not suitable to read. I had to do a lot of paperwork and ended up sitting in the small hallway on the floor in my room, on some pillows as that was the only place I could see ( I wear no glasses, so not an eye issue). There was another light not working I asked it to be replaced which was never done in the three days I was there. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Really can't believe I paid nearly $200 for one night at this hotel! Our room looked NOTHING like ANY of the pictures online - it looked more like a 'hostel' room - basic, very small with nothing in it! When I checked in there was a lady at reception that clearly was meant to be cleaning the hotel not working behin the front desk - she had no idea what she was doing. It was busy with walk ins and people including me trying to check in - I stood there for 10 minutes before even being acknowledged. She agreed to upgrade me but couldn't do it without the manager approval who took another 10 minutes to appear and then tried to charge me $20 for an upgrade! The hotel is in a great location and parking is only $12 but still I would NEVER stay here again - $200 for a 'hostel' looking room is really not on.

Overpriced , but it was a last minute choice.

If I make a trip again to L.A. this hotel would be in the top 3 of my selection list. Credit should go to the guys at the concierge. Friendly and helpful.

Rooms are comfortable but very small, service is good, they try, but they are in a non-tourist type neighborhood. Not unusual to see homeless guys lying around outside hotel, although it is not a far walk to LA Live and other attractions.

This hotel is fabulous all the way around! Ill definitely be visiting again soon

The O hotel doesn't have any food on Sunday which is pretty tough for the business traveler. Also, for all the Downton fans, guess what channel the O hotel doesn't have? PBS! Otherwise the hotel is pretty well maintained with free wifi as part of the $14 service charge, just avoid Sundays.

Hotel room was really small and you could hear everything the people in the next rooms were doing. Great location very close to staples center and restaurants. Parking was $12 a day and they have a service charge at the hotel which is $12 as well. I would of rather stayed at the JW Marriott if I new I was going to spend all that money.
