Would stay again

It was clean, updated, good service and the beds were quite comfortable.

We stayed here expecting an average hotel, boy did we get that, well below average. The room had a large hole in the carpet, the sink had no plug, the bedding had suffered cigarette burns and the bed, I didn't get much of a rest, it was poor at best. This is a budget hotel for a reason, beware!

The hotel was decent. I was last in Abbeville when the hotel was being built. I expected it to be much nicer, but it really was just ok. It was a comfortable place to sleep for a couple of nights while I was visiting my children. The pool is small but very clean. The staff was very friendly and talkative. Housekeeping was very very talkative and shared their lifestory with me...um, ok, yeah - that is the southern way! The room was clean even though my husband complained for the entire trip! Overall I give it 4 stars.

This was our first stay at Magnuson. We were in town for a baseball tournament. Check in and check out was easy and the room was clean. No complaints.

Friendly staff, room was clean and comfortable.

The buisness and hotel staff was nice and accomodating. We came a little late for breakfast and the nice lady in the kitchen kept it open for us and helped us with some of the breakfast items we needed.The mattress was very, very uncomfortable. We needed more pillows...had 3 for two people. The television is too low. It sits on a dresser and is below the level of the bed. It WAS DIFFICULT WATCHING THE LSU GAME WHILE IN THE BED.

Everything was good. The phone didn't work nor did the sleep timer on th tv. You could hear a lot of noise from above you. The staff was friendly and the Internet was very fast. All in all for the money it was good. Wouk recommend it as long as you are not an extremely light sleeper

Clean and very affordable

Making reservations was very easy. Upon arriving there was one person ahead of us checking in. When we approached the counter the attendant was smiling, helpful, and very cheerful. She pulled up our reservation and we signed necessary paperwork, were handed our room key then the fun began... We arrived at the assigned room and opened the door with the keycard provided. There was a man sitting in the room watching television, thank God he was dressed fully. I apologized for barging in on him and gracefully backed out of the room. I returned to the front desk and explained the situation to the attendant who immediately checked reservations and unfortunately we both had reserved the same room There was another room available with what our requests were and we were accomodated. Once in the room, it was very clean and quiet. There were only 2 towels and no towels down by the pool so we had to go to front desk to request extra towels. The attendant had to go to an unoccupied room to get extra towels. No shampoo or ammenities in room. The King size bed had 2 pillows that were very old, stuffy, and flat. There was not a listing of television stations on a card to accomodate those from out of town wishing to watch television. The pool did not open until 10:00 am which was very inconvenient for our stay. The children who were either staying or visiting there were cannonballing in a 5 foot pool. Overall however the room was clean and the staff was friendly and cheerful.

This hotel is a very good value. We were passing through the area and had booked the hotel in advance because we didn't know what time we would arrive and wanted to be sure we had a place to stay. The receptionist was polite and made a recommendation for a great place to eat dinner. It was equally as nice as the name brand hotel next door for a better price. It was clean, well maintained, and I would recommend it to someone passing through this area.

Excellent value. Very clean and comfortable. I've stayed here on several occasions and always clean and good service. Always stay here when traveling through Abbeville on business.

My reserved room was ready when I arrived. The room was clean and stocked with the necessities. The front desk staff was very friendly. I will definitely stay here again.

My Kids And I Really Enjoyed The Stay....Very Nice Rooms And Friendly Employees...

We had lots of family going in for Thanksgiving, with a quick phone call, they had all of our rooms next to each other. They really almost made us feel like VIP's or something.. Good Stay, I'll stay again.

I had a pleasant stay, my room was exceptionally comfortable and clean. the location of hotel was perfect for my trip to Abbeville,La. very close to my visiting business.

Booked this hotel last minute, got in late and was taken care of. Room was clean and comfortable and staff was really nice. Would stay here again.

Great place to stay..staff was awesome and didn't mind us having a good time at the pool bbq'n, playin guitar, and having a couple of drinks..the view of the small airport with choppers flying in and out was cool.. Rooms had microwave, fridge, and stove and were more than up to par..again, the staff was awesome and I highly recommend this joint!!!

If I didn't know better.. I would have thought I was at a Hampton Inn... but for a much better price. It's at the edge of town so it's really quiet, and everything new and necessary in this town is right near this hotel. Airport, walking distance, Wal-Mart 1 redlight away, Restaurants, etc.. I'll probably stay here every time I go to Abbeville.

The hotel was very clean. Staff was very nice and helpful. We requested and early check-in and had no problems whatsoever. The pool was small but perfect for my two young children. They really enjoyed themselves. We will be visiting again at the end of May and plan on staying there again.

Nice hotel and location. Room was nice but not very roomy. A few channels on TV and pretty good internet access.

I did not enjoy my stay. There was just too much noise. I did not sleep well. I kept getting woke up by people in the hallway and I don't know what other noise, but it sure was loud! Poor Quality in the structure of the whole motel perhaps. I heard footsteps above me. It sounded like the floor was going to collapse. Not insulated perhaps. Really LOUD!

Tŕes bon rapport qualité/prix. En tout point conforme à nos attentes Hôtel trés bien situé, entretenu chambre spacieuse avec toutes les commodittéś petit déjeuner correct. Fanhement´ rien çà redire....
