The room was clean and comfortable. Service also good. They need to work on the complimentary breakfast.

Naturally not expecting good service and facility for this price, but facility was far above expectation. Good value for nice and clean facility, including free wifi connection. Room was clean, but fridge was not cleaned up, otherwise rate for cleanliness was 5. Amenities were also nice to have soaps, shampoo and conditioner.

the room is very nice, the staff could be a lot better. when the guy finished checking me in he just got up and walked out the door without saying another word. i didn't even realize we were finished. i thought he was going to show me to my room.

upon arrival the room was cold! - within a half hour or so was warmed with heater being turned up. When we went for breakfast at 6:30 (which was one of the reasons we chose this site) the lights were off and zero service available. A bare footed man showed-up with a plate of 4 cold slices of bread, 2 sm cold muffins and 'a' glass of milk!! Terrible. We would not stay there again!

Most enjoyable, clean and fresh (Newly renovated). Highly recommend!!!

Although I realize it was off-season, the value was tremendous. Very clean, lots of room, 1/4 mile from quaint shopping area, 1/4 mile off #11 for those just passing by.

Conveniently located in west end of Huntsville. Good parking.

The hotel was horrible for the price i paid for it. The pillows were uncomfortable, the washroom didnt have exhaust fan and the cheap tv was broken. Never again. O yea breakfast was bad too

a good experience

My family all met up at the Econo Lodge to spend one night and then get an early start canoeing in Algonquin Park. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The locatiOn was excellent. We had a great dinner at a nearby restaurant. My only criticism is that breakfast is just toast with jam,cornflakes and waffles and fake orange juice or coffee. I paid extra for breakfasts for the room with more than two guests and don't feel I got my money's worth.

Enjoyed our stay...very impressed with the room and cleanliness. Made a big impresssion on my wife.

Overall a good stay; clean room, staff reasonably friendly. Nothing really over and above, but certainly satisfactory.

Obviously a family run hotel but the children need to be instructed to respect the customers and staff. Perhaps they should be in their home and not in the hotel office & lobby. Worst breakfast I have been offered in a hotel. Bread was like cardboard, no yogurt, fruit, poor cereal choices, watered down juice . Interior of hotel nicely renovated and redecorated. Outside needs same.

as long as you have basic expectations, you won't be disappointed. TV and A/C worked well. Floors were clean.

The hotel was easier to find than Google indicated. The lobby was very welcoming. It was nice to have a continental breakfast included; however, the orange juice was very watered down and at room temperature. The selection of coffee and tea seemed excellent; but I do not drink tea or coffee.

Was a very good deal for the price, just needed a place to crash for a night and that's what we got. No frills but clean and good service. Was exactly what we needed! Close to downtown Huntsville, has free wi-fi and small continental breakfast, which was just basic, but better than nothing.

The stay was fine, and the lady and the front desk even helped with my things. the only really annoying thing was that I had NO HOT WATER in my room. I was looking forward to a nice shower before settling in for the night. Not a chance. It was like the hot water heater wasn't on.

Rooms were clean. Breakfast was awful, nothing to choose from. Not bad for the price. Location was good.

A very nice and clean hotel, the washroom is very clean and I like the bath tub too. The breakfast is good and you can make your own toast, waffle and with cereal and banana. Location is very closed to the Huntsville downtown.

We were happy as could be with the room the management had the continental breakfast ready for 6am, The toilet was clean and the bath tub was spotless , The hallways carried no odours other than the cleanliness smell. The management were just great ,in every way.I would stay there again , if and when I visit Huntsville again.

We booked online and everything was in order and waiting for our arrival. We were greeted promptly and shown to our room and were very pleased with everything. Ray & Jacquie

Hotel was fine. However, there was never enough parking in the evening. The lot always seemed full. Room was okay, but it looked like they didn't change the sheets. Looks like the comforter was pulled up each day (we spent 3 nights) with rumpled sheets underneath. Pillows thrown against the headboard and the shower mat left down. Overall, okay hotel with a convenient location to downtown Huntsville.

I booked at the Econolodge because it was apparently the cheapest place around, but I now wish I'd paid a little more and stayed elsewhere. The hotel is depressing - dark hallways, painted a dingy shade of green. The next morning at 9 a.m. group of guys was sitting under the front portico drinking beer - the same guys who's been drinking in the parking lot the night before. Makes for a weird way to start the day.

We booked in near midnight an left early morn. It was clean enough and the rooms were just your normal standard. (bathroom was very clean and it had a new surround tub) It would have been nice if the fridge was pluged in,. No coffe pots in the room and the breakfast area only seated about 14 people - way to small for the number of guests and only 2 chairs per table. If you don't mind taking the breakfast back to your room to eat, it is suitable for a quick stop on your way through. No Frills, no fuss.

My wife discovered mold on the bottom of her muffin at the breakfast bar- showing it to the front desk got an " oh well what can you do " - are you kidding me !! after we left the front desk - the clerk then chased us down asking for the muffin back so he could get his money back - I want my money back I will never stay there again !!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL

For a 2-star rating of this hotel, our party was very satisfied with the quality of service, room amenities & comfort, condition/maintenance of the hotel and cleanliness. Based on our research prior to selecting this hotel, we expected that the breakfast included with the room would be meagre...and it was; in fact, we did not bother with this option. We also expected that this hotel would be within walking distance of the downtown area...but it was not...and no public transportation was available. There was a great 'fish & chip' restaurant down the street that is within walking distance and we had breakfast, lunch and dinner there...the locals love this restaurant!

We had a very pleasant stay and the Management and staff were very friendly. We would definitely stay here again in the future. The only slight problem we had was that the room keys needed to be re-programmed at least 3 times and the one room key never did work properly. The only other concern I had about our room was that the bath tubs take forever to drain ... the type of drains that they have installed are notorious for being slow to drain ... while showering, it's not uncommon to be standing in 2 or 3 inches of water. Other than that, every thing else was wonderful. Thanks again for our 2 nights stay in Huntsville at Econo Lodge Huntsville.

Excellent Service, Staring with the check in and throughout. The reception offered immediate assistance to help us hook Netflix to our Room TV and provided 2 Audio boxes and extra batteries that we could use to hear the sound of the movies. Also, we were very pleased with the Breakfast provided. It had everything one may desire and more... such as the 'huge' waffles which all of us enjoyed. We had a very pleasant stay. Thank you!

While the room itself and the bathroom looks as if it had been recently renovated, there was a very noticeable musty smell. Also the bed did not have fitted sheets. The carpet had not been vacuumed well enough as there were sunflower seeds by the bedside from a previous stay. For the rate, I do not think I got great value for the $. On the positive side, the staff was very pleasant, the parking was good and overall the motel looked well looked after. The location is excellent.
