Hotel Catalunya - אלגרו

This hotel is convenient as it's very central but I don't understand how it can be a 3 stars. Service was awful and rooms very average.

Very pleased with out stay. It is a business type hotel, but the location is very convenient as it is right by the Old City where most of the action is. So much fun to walk around at night with restaurants, shops, etc. At 10:00 pm restaurants are totally busy. Had a problem with printing out our boarding passes with Ryanair (avoid them if you can) they nickle and dime you for everything. Previously, we were staying at a 5 star hotel and they were not helpful at all with our problem. Moved over to this hotel and Roberta at the front desk was so delightful and pleasant and and even called them for us using our cell phone as Ryanair even charges to call them! Being we don't speak Italian, she helped with our problem and printed out our passes for us. Something the other hotel was not interested in doing. An employee like Roberta, is a real asset. She was professional and willing to assist us with all our questions and needs. Our room was very comfortable and had a great view of the Old City, park and harbor. You could watch all the boats coming and going. They have a nice eating and drinking area on the top floor with amazing views. We went up their for drinks before dinner (Apertivo) and in the morning for their lovely breakfast. Great way to start the day. Don't hesitate to stay here as you will enjoy it.

Great location with a great view. The beds weren't that comfortable, but I wasn't there to really hang out in the hotel. The breakfast was nice, great atmosphere and the staff was very professional.

Meget bra hotell, god frokost, super utsikt med rom mot sjøen i øvre etasjer, hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening, stille og rolig område.

Vi hadde 4 flotte dager i suite med balkong på dette hotellet, med en vidunderlig utsikt over havet og gamlebyen. Det var jo bare å gå ut av hotellet så var du i sentrum, og det var praktisk. Tok ikke taxi en dag mens vi var der. Gode senger, god frokost, rent og pent, og ikke minst supersentralt. Vi var godt fornøyd og kommer gjerne tilbake ved en senere anledning :-)

Vi var der en lang helg, bestilte Junior suite, med den beste utsikten over havnen og gamlebyen. frokosten var helt ok. Det som ikke var bra der var aircondision ( virket ikke ) godt det kun var 24 C. Ville ikke ha vært der i juli da det er betydelig varmere.

Hotellets läge samt bra standard och service gjorde vistelsen angenäm och behaglig.

Vi hade en juniorsvit, och det kan vi verkligen rekommendera. Det innebär att vi bodde på åttonde våningen och hade en stor balkong med utsikt över gamla stan och hamnen. Men förmodligen blir det väldigt varmt i juli och augusti eftersom eftermiddagssolen ligger på.

Vi bodde på Catalunya tre nätter i oktober och hade en underbar weekend. Bokade en juniorsvit på 8nde våningen med balkong med utsikt över hamnen och gamla stan. Fantastiskt att sitta och se solen gå ned över marinan med ett vinglas i handen. Även hotellets frukostsalong på 9nde våningen hade samma utsikt och helt OK frukostutbud.

Meget sentralt.

Si el hotel esta reformado, pero la calidad de los acabados, ni el trato,ni el servicio valen casi los 180€ por noche pagados es un hotel de 3 estrellas como mucho, el aire a condicionado un tormento por el sonido que tenías que aguantar si lo apagabas para descansar te asabas.La limpieza dejaba bastante que desear.

Havde en dejlig forlænget weekend på Hotel Catalunya i Alghero. Hotellet ligger fint med få minutters gang til den gamle by og marinaen. Vi havde pænt værelse med udsigt fra 7. sal og på 9. sal var der morgenmads servering samt bar om aftenen med fin stemning og flot udsigt.

Aunque tiene aire acondicionado, lo ponen a una temperatura que oscila alrededor de los 24-25 ºC. Cuando en el exterior hay 38 ºC la sensación es de mucho calor. Por la noche todavía peor. En nuestra habitación no funcionaba y tuvimos que insistir varias veces hasta conseguir que nos dieran otra en la que si funcionaba. Los empleados de recepción fueron poco cordiales y poco eficientes. A cambio la situación es muy buena, al lado del puerto y de la ciudad vieja. No tiene garaje y la zona es complicada para aparcar.
