Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dover - דובר

My only complaint was rough towels. I do know some motels/hotels worry about alergies and environmental isues. I would gladly stay at Microtel again. Thanks.

Hotel was really nice. Staff was good. Stayed on 2nd floor..ice machine first floor was broken had to use third. Room was very cold but thermostat worked well in getting the room warmer. Only pet peeve no mini fridge to keep snacks/beverages cool had to use ice and bags (talk about water mess!) Overall a great stay for the price and nice and comfortable!!

Rooms were clean and well set up. Continental breakfast was fine. People were extra friendly. Good location right off highway and plenty of restaurant choices. No pool was bummer. Would stay again.

For what I needed this was a great place to stay. The staff was the best. I had a lot of request and needed extra help with a lot of things and I never felt like it was problem. They smiled through it like it was nothing.

Beds were very uncomfortable. A lot of traffic after midnight. Heater get glowing cold air all night.

This is a fine hotel for the money, but I really think management should reinstate coffeemakers in the rooms. It is irksome to have to go down to the lobby to get coffee first thing in the morning, the cup a person needs to wake up. That's really my only issue with this Microtel.

We've stayed at the Microtel in Dover NH several times and have always been pleased with our stay. The rooms are clean and the staff is very, very pleasant and helpful. It's not a fancy hotel but it has the important things we want cleanliness and good service.

When I checked in around 2am... the front desk attendant was friendly and helpful. When arriving at that hour I expect a chilly room. However the breeze I discovered blowing in thru the "heating" unit after 5 hours of maxing the heat out... not so much. Tho this hotel is in a decent neighborhood.... I found the missing security lock a bit unnerving(I did sleep quit well anyway for about 3 hours). Would I stay here again? If I am desperate.... yes. But I'm bringing extra blankets with me.

ALthough the rooms are small they are comfortable, and most importantly, clean. None of that icky old hotel smell. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is convenient to the highway, restaurants, shopping etc.

The hotel is clean. But the bathroom shower needs some help. Had holes in the wall were the shower rod should have gone, but they put tissiue in the holes to cover up. A lot of things to do around the motel. Tons of restruants and shopping close by. This was our third stay and we will be back.

very cleaned, the kind of hotel that everybody likes

We chose to stay in Dover for the 28th annual Apple Festival and it was worth every penny. The Festival was a short drive down the street, the staff at the hotel gave us helpful hints on attending and we had a great time. We will definitely stay here when we come back next year. This is my second stay at at Microtel (first was in Philly) and both experiences were wonderful.

We stayed at a holiday inn express in tewksbury the night before, paid less and had much better accomidations. The microtel was clean and staff friendly didn't like the fact that we had a paid in full pre-booked room and they gave us a room across from the vending machines and elevator which made for a restless noisy night, those rooms should be saved for last minute travels not for people who book their stays in advance.

Enjoyed our stay. All staff that we met were very friendly and helpful.

We stayed in the Dover NH property and found the hotel very clean, well staffed, with comfortable rooms. This was our first stay with Microtel and we will consider Microtel again in our future travels. Only complaint was that they do not recycle..

The hotel was much better than we'd expected, having never stayed at a Microtel. Clean room, friendly service, decent location, at a good price. We were very pleasantly surprised.

Hotel was clean and friendly. Conveniently located right off the highway with a Starbucks and a Five Guys in the front parking lot. Lots of restaurants and shopping in the area.

The hotel on the outside and inside was clean. My only interaction with staff was at the front desk and they were very nice. My room was extremely outdated and lacked things like a bar of soap at the sink to wash my hands. The linens were like sand paper and I suspect they are original to when the hotel first opened. The a/c worked fantastic! The tv was This huge tube tv mounted at an angle in the corner. A mirror spanned the entire length right above my bed. I felt like I should be in an adult video. Very 70's feeling. The free breakfast left alot to be desired. I couldn't use the waffle maker since there was caked in waffle batter all over it. No one tended to the breakfast area. The selection consisted of cereal, a couple muffins, one kind of yogurt, milk, oj. Don't count on it for a hearty breakfast. The bed was comfortable. Nothing special. I probably would not stay here again considering there are other choices in the same price range that offer more ammenities and are more updated.

The hotel is clean and comfortable, the beds are fine and there's plenty of storage; but not well insulated against noise from other rooms (banging doors, children squawking, late arrivals, early departures, etc.); and no refrigerator; and bathroom shelf space and hook space is ridiculously inadequate (would it kill them to have a shelf more than 4 inches wide? or hooks on the door for a bathrobe?). Staff were courteous and helpful, breakfast is the usual starch festival, decent coffee is always available. So it's a good value over-all for the Dover-Portsmouth area.

The rooms were comfortable, clean, modern and used the smalller space very well. Walking distance to places to eat and great value, worth leaving the main road to get here.

While we were a bit of a drive away from the beaches, this location was convenient to both Maine and New Hampshire touristy spots and a lot less pricey.

Nice staff with a reasonable price don't raise your prices and you will see us back!

Had a great first night, but the second night was a different story. They put a family next to us and the children were making so much noise that my husband and I had to leave for awhile.I am not one to complain about to many things, but that really made us mad... Wishing my stay was better, but its over and done with!

Breakfast offered very few choices. no kleenix in bathroom. Desk help very proficient. Computer in lobby would't print.

Of the 3 nights i stayed the last night there was the only night i had internet. I booked this room because of this. I was not able to do my homework ( classes on line) and my daughter in law couldn't do her work either. I was very upset and disappointed no one was willing to fix this problem. the bed was hard if you like hard beds great. the pull out couch needed a new mattress you could feel everything in the springs. I'll never go there again

We booked this room near where we were going on a whale watch. The hotel staff was friendly, the hotel was very clean and was just what we were hoping for. Would definitely stay here again.

For the rate, we were quite pleased with this hotel. The free wireless internet, however, was too weak to pick up in our end room.

Hotel was clean and staff were welcoming. Our room was just what we needed, but the shower head was broken and sprayed everywhere. There were no maintenance personnel on site, so my boyfriend had to help staff pick out the correct tools and then proceed to fix the shower head himself. Fortunately, they were able to move us to another room. Unfortunately, the AC was broken. We just decided to let it be as we were checking out the next day.

The only thing I didn't like was the TV was set up too high and outdated. Programming very good though. I also thought it would be nice to have a roll of paper towel in the room to use in the little kitchen area. Very comfortable room though and would highly recommend it too everyone.

The staff was friendly and very helpfull. Room service was what you expect from an hotel of this quality.

It was great! This was the cheapest hotel available and it was great for what we paid. Would definitely go back!!!

Very comfortable

Unfortunately our first nights stay was terrible. Apparently there were guests whom the hotel could not control. From about 1 AM until 6AM doors were slammed with a continual coming and going. The night desk knew of the noise but apparently was not able control the situation. The second night was much better but little consolation when you've lost a complete nights rest.

This is a no frills hotel with very clean rooms (which is the most important to me). The check in process was very pleasant. If I was in the area again, I would definitely stay at Microtel Inn again.
