I was ok with this hotel for what I paid, but I would have to say I probably wouldn't stay here again. The breakfast was mediocre at best. The reviews on here rate it too high. The location is really out of the way and not close to anything. You have to take a bus if you want to go anywhere. It's at least an hour from Venice. The pool closed while I was there. It is only open until mid September and I didn't find out until I got there. There were mosquitos EVERYWHERE! I got eaten alive sitting in the lobby not even outside. There is an additional city tax charged as well that was sort of inconvenient. The bed was not comfortable and it was just a twin. The room was small but it worked. If I had paid any more for this hotel the rating would be even lower.

Loved this hotel-great location, superb service and food. Would come back!

Very nice place - friendly and helpful personel, clean rooms, swimming pool. Easy connection with busy Venice city and beach.

The staff was helpful. The room was a good size, the bare-floors got annoying when your feet would get dirty, had to wipe them off every-time I got in bed. TV was tiny, only had 3 English speaking channels all news. Bathroom was a good size for European. The pool was closed the entire time we were there and still wasn't opened on the 26th of May, even though it was suppose to open on May 15th. Nearest business from the hotel is a 10mins bus ride. Not the best location for anything really. We chose the hotel for the pool since it wasn't open I would have much rather stayed closer to the Water Bus station. Not worth it.

First of all let me say that the staff of this hotel is quite good. Our problems didnt originate with them. For the sake of brevity, our pros and cons are as follows: Pros: - Clean Facilities - Helpful staff despite sometimes patchy English. - generally good looking grounds (See cons) - reasonable rates - limited breakfast included - hotel transport van available until 10:30am Cons: - rooms small even by European standards - disturbing shower arrangements (our clear window in the shower was directly facing a stairwell...) - very limited Internet access (no wifi, only one very old computer which is set up in Italian. Prepare to be without Internet until you hit a wifi restaurant) - admittedly we were there in March, but we couldn't help but feel like we were the only human beings in the facility. Think "The Island" meets "I Am Legend". This all changed the last night, however, when we discovered: - the walls are ridiculously thin and any noise made outside by a person ( or, in our case, about 30 preteens) WILL echo into the rooms and you WILL hear it when you are trying to sleep at 10PM ( or, in our case, at 11:30pm with a flight to catch in the morning...) - the location is highly inconvenient. It takes a 10-15 minute bus ride (NOT counting the time you spend walking to the bus stop and waiting for the bus) to get to the vaporetti station where you will spend another 5-10 minutes likely waiting for a vaporetti and then another 10-30 minutes on the boat. Do you really want to do that every morning? - Internet pictures of the grounds are very misleading. The hotel grounds do not convey the feeling that the pictures portray. Also, the hotel is NOT on a beach. The "beach" they will direct you to is about a 10 minute walk away (though a shady neighborhood) and is -not- a sandy beach. It is probably a good 15-20 minutes until you will get to their true sand beaches. ( side note about that: admittedly, we are Floridians and probably spoiled by wonderful sand beaches, but

Hotel is really far from venice, on the island of Lido. It takes 1.5 hrs to get to this place from venice railway station. You take a water boat which is around 50 mins journey and then 20 mins in the bus. If we include the fare of water bus and the bus add 18euros extra per person to get to the hotel. Its mostly cold in this area and still the flooring is tiles and is freezing if you step with out slippers. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room even in cold freezing weather, Not even a full length mirror in the room. We booked a family room for 2 adults and a child and got a twin room with beds joined together very haphazardly with huge level difference between 2 cots, very uncomfortable and then we were also given 2 very thin separate duvets for husband and wife when it was 3 to 4 degrees out side. Air conditioning is a con takes full night before temperature starts raising. oh and the breakfast is a joke, not even a hot toast. would not recommend the please unless its really hot summer and is 30 degrees temperature.

After a couple of nights in the centre of Venice and a 7 night cruise around the adriatic I wanted to end the trip with a relaxing day near the beach so booked ca d'oro because of the excellent price and it had a pool. It worked out perfectly. We spent a day at the beach then stayed at this hotel, checked out at midday but stayed around the pool till 6pm before making our way to the airport. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Great rooms, lovely restaurant on site, quiet, great facilities, great pool. Very helpful staff too. My only negative is the location. You news to use public transport to get here from the vaporetto stop at the lido and to get to a sandy beach. This could be awkward for some people especially with luggage. As long as you don't mind the transport (a travel card works out best value) then go for it. A great way to enjoy Venice but get away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. We couldnt fault it, we had the best of both worlds, with in 30 mins you are in the centre of Venice, 15mins you are on the beach and you have your own fabulous pool! What more can you ask for!

We stayed at the Ca' Del Moro hotel in July 2011. The rooms were very nicely decorated and very modern BUT very thin walls. If someone was talking in the room across the wing and it connected somwhat with your room, you could hear it loud and clear. If someone is talking in the entrance corridor downstairs you could hear it too. If you are planning on staying at the hotel and using the pool (which is a very cold pool, even in July) than make sure you bring your own towels, or be prepared to pay 3 Euros for a towel rental as you are forbidden to bring your room towels to work out or go to the pool. The beach near the hotel is over rated, as it is very rocky and unswimmable. There is a better beach closer to the boat stop. The hotel breakfast was good, offering a selection of pastries, yogurt, boiled eggs, cereal, coffee, juice and apples. Transportation to the hotel is fairly good, as there are two buses from the boat stop that can take your there (Bus A and B), both stop just prior to the hotel. The tv selection was poor, but I guess if you are staying in Venice you are not there to watch TV.... Otherwise, I would say, out of the 4 hotels we stayed at in Italy, this would be my second best one. I would stay there again.....

This Hotel was very nice and comfortable, with a beautiful swimming pool and many tennis courts, food was very good, staff very friendly, the only thing is it is a bit far out of Lido but there is a 24 hour bus service which leaves you to the door of the hotel. Lido is a beautiful place with a lovely beach and restaurants and shops, its nice place to get a break from the bustle of Venice! but a lovely water taxi will have you in the heart of Venice in 20 mins.

Nice hotel with a lovely pool but be prepared to travel to and from the vaporetto (waterbus) stop each day. The hotel runs a minibus transfer for 2 hours each morning which is useful and there is a reliable bus service which is only a few minutes walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good with a large choice of items. We found this to be an ideal base as you have the best of both worlds: Venice is only a short journey away and the vaporetto ride in to Venice gives you an amazing view of the city or you can relax by the pool (a rarity in Venice) which was hardly ever busy.

These apartments look brand new with very stylish fittings and most things you could possibly need while on holiday. One complaint, if you could call it that, was that the only way to boil water to make a cup of tea was in a saucepan. This isn't unusual in Italy because they don't drink tea, but a small kettle in the kitchen would be a nice touch. Also, although we managed somehow with my limited Italian and the manageress's limited English I felt that given that tourism is such a part of the village's viability, it would have been nice to be able to communicate more easily.

Excellent value.Only starting up for season when we were there. A few maintenance problems sorted straight away.Staff very nice.Big balcony's off room for getting sun.A little bit out the of the way,but bus stops 200 mts away every 15 mins.10 euro taxi to Waterbus stop if your in a hurry.

This hotel was fabulous for the price!!! I still can't believe how cheap, and nice it was!!! They have pool, tennis courts, fitness room, playground, indoor bar/cafe, outdoor bar/cafe, very friendly staff. If I had to complain about anything, it would be that they have a shuttle that takes you to catch the boat to leave the lido, the last one leaves at 10:30am (or so we were told) the shuttle left at 10:15 and we were sitting there for 30 minutes waiting for it to come get us. Otherwise, a wonderful stay!!!

Not a lot of choice for breakfast and you have to walk across the complex to get to the hotels restaurant which doesnt have a lot of choice and the food was tasteless. No hotel entertainment at all and restaurant shuts at 9.30pm. From the hotel you need to travel a 15minute bus journey to get to Lido from there its a water bus journey to main part of Venice. We found this very expensive and a lot of hassle. Everything in Venice (clothes and food) was very ecpensive, being told we were not being charged to sit and eat, after we have finished our meal there was a charge on the bill. If you want somewhere secluded and out of the way and just want to sit in your room then this is the place for you. If not i wouldnt suggest this hotel or Venice at all.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel in October 2010. We had originally booked 2 nights but liked it enough to book a 3rd night. They honored the price we got from this website for our 3rd night as well. Hotel itself was great. Clean, friendly and helpful staff, easy check-in/out. Wireless internet was only available in the reception area at a cost of 1 euro/30 minutes. The only strike against this place was its location. It is a bit out of the way and the area doesn't have much to offer in walking distance for restaurants or shopping. If you're looking for a quiet place away from all the crowds in Venice then you'll be very happy here or if you don't mind some bus trips to get around then you'll be fine too. If you're there for more than a day I would recommend the tourist transit passes that allow unlimited use of the Lido buses as well as the water bus system to Venice. I would not hesitate to stay here again if I ever find myself back in Venice.

Staff at reception were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The bar restaurant was reasonably priced and food good. All staff were very friendly. The hotel has a courtesy bus to the water bus stop, but public transport is also good to and from the hotel. We found the out of city location gave us two quite different experiences of Venice and Lido. My two daughters and I felt safe in the area and would not hesitate to book the hotel again.

While not right in Venice, if you get the bus/vaporetti pass for the whole time of your stay you can very easily get to Lido by Vaporetti and take a bus right to the hotel for no additional cost. I do NOT recommend a car with the ferry as you can wait for close to two hours just to get on the ferry. The hotel had friendly help, nice and clean rooms and bathrooms, a quiet neighborhood, wifi for a reasonable price in the lobby, and an ok breakfast. My only real frustration was the lack of really hot water but this was fairly standard in Italy regardless of which hotel we stayed in.

This is not a hotel! but rather a sports dorm which is passed off as a hotel. The rooms are spartan although fairly large. The pool is very nice, as are the tennis courts (which are unfortunately not included and for which the hotel charges quite a bit). The location is nice if you are looking for a quiet vacation but not really convenenient if you wish to tour Venice. The ferry to Lido Island is expensive, as are the Valporetto water buses to Venice and from the dock one needs to take an additional 15 minute bus ride to the Ca' Del Moro. The worst of it all was that the staff were obnoxious and unhelpful. Definitely not our best experience, My advice - stay away.

We found this a very pleasant hotel to stay in. The combination of a city holiday (Venice) and Beach (Lido) & Pool (the hotel) was superb. Although situated further down the island (Lido) there are 24/7 bus services (in summer) and it takes about 15 mins to get to the village centre of Lido, from there Venice is a 10 min waterbus journey away. The breakfast was simple but very tasty, with warm buns and croissants, the usual yoghurt, cornflakes, etc. We bought a 3 day travel card for use of the bus service on Lido and all the waterbusses around Venice and spent 2 days at the beach/pool. The rooms are air-conditioned and the gym and tennis courts of the hotel were fantastic. From Marco Polo we took a private water 'coach' company to Lido. which at thirteen euros, although more expensive than a normal bus into Venice, was a magical way to arrive to Venice from the airport.

Très bon hôtel. Piscine extrêmement bienvenue! Seul bémol : notre chambre était proche de la porte d'entrée, qui fait passablement de bruit quand elle se ferme... Mais à part cela, je reviendrais et recommanderais cet hôtel avec plaisir!

Wir waren mit 3 Generationen mehr als 1 Woche im Hotel, als Ausgangspunkt für Venedig ideal! Bushaltestelle ca 150 m vom Hotel, um zum Vaporetto zu gelangen. Schöner pool, viele Sonnenliegen, nettes pool-Restaurant mit moderaten Preisen, hilfsbereites Personal, alles sehr sauber. Frühstücksbüffet war Ok.

Jättebra hotell med stor pool och nära till hav. Fin frukost. Gratis bussar på hela Lido-ön. Båt till venedig går var 10 min. Jättesmidigt men kostar 7 euro per person. Jättefina stränder. Trevlig personal. en 9/10. Extra sktattetillägg betalas vid utcheckning, 1,3 euro per person och dygn, så det var ingen big deal.

Fint hotell med mycket trevlig personal.Frukosten är mycket bra med varierat innehåll.Otroligt fräscht rum, jätte nöjd!Synd bara att fanns ingen tillgång till fri internet

meget spesielle resepsjonister. gnitne og kverrulante på alt man spør om. f eks om å få et ekstra kart over byen, var ikke lett å få. når man spør hvordan bussbilletter fungerer får man bare et frekt svar om at dette er ganske enkelt. vi prøvde å bestille taxi over 12 timer i forveien, men fikk nesten ikke bestilt da dette var en for sen bestilling. prøvde også å forandre på en taxibestilling, men dette var helt umulig da de hadde en "greie" med taxisjåførene om at forandring ikke kunne gjøres. han kastet en lapp med telefonnummer til taxisentralen som vi kunne ringe selv, hvis vi ikke trodde han. de tilbød først frokost de kunne sende med oss, da vi skulle reise fra hotellet ekstra tidlig, men dette var likevel ikke mulig. da vi skulle sjekke ut hadde de låst av hele salen, så nøkkelkort og utsjekking ikke ble gjort. useriøst hotell med forferdelig service

Excellent accueil, chambres spacieuses avec balcon, desserte facile par bus ACTV (bus compris dans les Pass Vaporetto quasi-incontournables lorsqu'on séjourne au Lido), Pellestrina et ses bons restaurants de poissons pas loin. N'oubliez pas vos serviettes de bain, celles fournies en chambre étant proscrites à la piscine. Alternative : location de serviettes directement à la piscine.

Séjour trés agréable, rien à dire !

We verbleven vier nachten in dit hotel en zijn zeer tevreden. Het hotel ligt op een afstandje van Venetië. Maar dat wisten we en vonden dat geen probleem. De bootrit vonden we zelfs zeer aangenaam. De bedden waren goed, het ontbijt was goed en voldoende gevarieerd, het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam.We hebben ook genoten van het zwembad en het eten dat je daar kon krijgen. Wij gaan zeker nog eens terug!

Mycket trevligt och prisvärt hotell med nära avstånd till Venedig. Frukosten var helt okej med lite olika och välja på. Rummen var rena och modernt inredda. Det enda jag saknade var ett litet kylskåp. Hotellet ligger en bra bit ner på Lido men kommunikationerna var mycket goda. För att åka till Venedig fick man först ta buss och sedan byta till båt (tog cirka 20 minuter till Markusplatsen). Dessa gick var 10e minut hela dygnet runt och på hotellet kunde man köpa olika periodkort. Att köpa ett kort lönar sig om man vill kunna åka lite som man vill. Restaurangen på hotellet var väl kanske inte den allra bästa men duger för en lunch. Hotellområdet var annars fint och rent med en stor och fin pool. Vi var väldigt nöjda över vistelsen och rekommenderar absolut detta hotell.

Freundliches Personal, angemessenes Frühstück und Zimmer mit Terrasse. Günstiges Restaurant mit gutem Essen auf der umfangreichen Sportanlage. Kostenlose Parkplätze. Mit dem Venedig-Ticket kommt man per Bus und Boot leicht nach Venedig. Auf Lido gibt es schöne Sandstrände teilweise unbewirtschaftet, so dass auch unser Pekinese mit auf den Strand konnte (5-10 Min. Auto). Auch für ein paar Stunden im Hotelzimmer lassen war kein Problem (pflegeleicht, schläft gerne). Die Bewertung bezieht sich auf 3,5 Sterne. Zimmereinrichtung war einfach, aber stylisch und sehr sauber. Das Frühstück für italiensiche Verhältnisse gut (Wurst, Käse, Schinken, Müsli, Brötchen und Hörnchen etc.). Tip Kaffe von der Bar machen lassen - weit besser als der Automat. Supermarkt und Shopping gibt es in der Nähe der Schiffsanlegestelle. Fähre für das Auto ca. 29€ (1 Auto, 2 Personen) einfach (Am Anfang und Ende des Urlaubs um von Venedig nach Lido zu kommen). Unsere Fähre am Anreistag ging noch nach 22 Uhr.

het verblijf op zich was aangenaam. De kamer is vrij sec, niet luxueus. Lakens werden om de 3 dagen vervangen tenzij zichtbaar vuil. Handdoeken werden vervangen ondanks het feit dat ze nog op het rekje hingen. ontbijt was dik in orde. Broodjes, kaas, vlees, cornflakes, muesli, gekookt eitje, fruitsappen, koffie, koffiekoeken, yoghurt, fruitsla... etc. Buffet kortom. Het lag nog vrij ver van het San Marco (30 min met openbaar vervoer). We waren hier van op de hoogte dus hier valt geen punt van te maken en heeft ook niet gestoord. Ook gratis pendeldienst voorzien 's morgens tussen 8u30 en 10u30. Accommodatie was ook aanwezig; zwembad en fitnessruimte gratis voor gasten. Het zwembad moet natuurlijk wel open zijn. (op site stond open vanaf 15 mei, vertrokken op 26 mei en nog steeds niet gevuld!!) Dit was alles behalve aangenaam! Tennispleinen ook aanwezig maar betalend(22 euro voor 1uur zonder materiaal, met is 25 euro). Restaurant was top! super vriendelijke bediening en betaalbaar!

It is an "ok" hotell with nice personell. The room was clean, but we would have prefered carpets to the cold floor. The location is fine, but still could be perceived by some as quite far away from the centrum of Lido where you can take the vaporetto to Venice. There are busses from the hotell free of charge untill 10 am, then you can take local traffic which is regular. The pool was not yet open at the beginning of may. Sport facilities - tennis. The beach is not too far away. You can take a walk along the seaside from the hotell location.

Alles in allem wunderbar,schade einfach das die Reise ins Zentrum von Venedig so lange dauert,aber ab dem 2.Tag ist man daran gewöhnt.

Das Hotel dezentral liegt ca. 20 Minuten mit dem Bus entfernt von der Bootanlegestelle. Die Zimmer und der Frühstücksbereich sind hell, einfach und sauber. Das Frühstück entspricht dem itallienischen Standart. Die Umgebung um das Hotel ist nicht sehenswert - Industrie- und Gewerbebetriebe (kein Strand o. ä.). Wer das Hotel, wie wir, für Ausflüge nach Venedig nutzt und kein Problem damit hat abends noch ins Zentrum von Lido zum Essen (gute Lokale) oder Bummels nochmal mit dem Auto oder dem Bus zu fahren, der kann hier ein ordentliches Hotel zu einem wirklich guten Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis buchen

positiv: sehr freundliches personal, gutes morgen buffet. negativ: wlan funktioniert im zimmer nicht, trotzdem werden für das einloggen 3 euro für 30 min. verlangt.

Bra hotel m ok frukost mkt att välja på man blir mätt. . stora rum m sköna sängar .bussen till och från hotellet tar 10 min ca .båten in till Venedig beroende vart man ska ,tar ca 7-12 min till Marco platsen

O Hotel em si é muito bom, boas instalações, ótimo serviço e um bom café da manhã. Porém, fica distante do Centro de Veneza. Apesar disto, o transporte é frequente e 24 horas por dia: o ônibus para o Porto passa de 10 em 10 minutos e o Vaporeto de 20 em 20 minutos. Gasta-se cerca de 30 minutos para chegar a Veneza. Os arredores do Hotel são vazios e pouco habitado.
