The room is in fact a small but very comfortable apartment, very clean and well located. We were only disappointed by the fact that we were told that the price paid online did not include taxes so we had to pay taxes additionally to what we had already paid to your site. In addition, there were some difficulties to obtain an early check-in and the check-in time is very late (3pm!), our flight arrived in the country at 7am, so waiting so long was not nice for us. Lastly, we asked for an iron and it took more than 1 hour and many calls for that to be brought when it was already too late…

Not luxurious but for the price a great value for the area.

very pleasant stay

This is a lovely small hotel. The rooms are large (we had a 2 bedroom suite) and comfortable. The kitchen is convenient. There is a living room that can be used to relax or entertain. the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are modern and well-equipped. The staff was pleasant and helped accomodate our needs. Internet was good, but occassionally dropped. The area is quiet but close to the subway and shopping. Very safe.

Perfect, if again in Santiago, we stay there for granted!

Beautiful hotel, great location. Staff is very friendly, from the front desk to the gentleman who lets you into the parking garage. Attendants at the desk speak English as well, which makes check-in a little bit easier. The room was clean and beautiful, with nice linens and balcony overlooking the city. We actually stayed here twice during our trip and I would recommend it to anyone who is going to be in Santiago!

Hotel was in good location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Kitchen was small but adequately equipped.

Excellent

I stayed here before and after an MBA program trip. The hotel the school had booked was close by but much more expensive so I decided to stay here. I loved it! The balcony, the small living room, the comfortable King bed and the number of English channels available on TV (use the SAP button for English). I couldn't have been happier. The price was right and the comfort was amazing. Staff was very helpful as well for the taxi ride to the airport.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Staff were very attentive to our needs, rooms were excellent and whisper quiet. Location was also close to the main attractions of Santiago.

We stayed here twice, first stay we stayed 2 nights and then visited a few wineries and came back for one night, all rooms are suites with a separate living room, kitchen, balcony. Second time we stayed they upgraded us to a higher floor with nice view and larger living area.

Really great value in a safe area in a recently renovated hotel. Has everything a holidaying tourist may need. Terrific breakfast and helpful concierge. Would definitely stay there again.

Every room in the hotel is a suite. You could not ask for a better location. The staff was helpful whenever you had any problem, large or small. I highly recommend this hotel.

Ive been there just for a couple days but I can assure you that was one of the best hotels I stayed ever.... The staff were so great and the rooms comfortable a lot.... I promised to myself to be back there next July and I will recomended to my friends. Thanks

Hotel was recently remodel and the rooms are great. Wifi was pretty expensive in the room, but they offered free wifi in the lobby. Breakfast was excellent.

The place was great, beautiful suite, employees were friendly and helpful. My main frustration was that in-room internet wasn't working during my stay, and out of the 3 public workstations they had set up on the ground floor, only 2 were working & available for hotel guests to share. There was an internet cafe right across the street though, so it wasn't like anyone was stranded. The neighborhood was ok (financial/business district), but metro station was nearby and pretty safe/easy to use to get to other areas. Metro is open until 11:30pm.

A/C didn't work...changed locations three different times. Place was due for a major renovation starting December 2nd...overall it was terrible.

good location-very big room - friendly staff-good bed Must be a great hotel in the past. Now it is time for big renovation. Which they are plannig. Starting beginning december they will close down for the workts to be done. After that i would recommend this hotel

We had a great time staying at this hotel. The room was large, and included a kitchen. The room was a little run down and might have needed a little TLC, but there was a note stating that the hotel would be closed for renovation from December-February. The room had a small balcony, and the bed was comfy. The only bad part about the room was that the shower did not drain properly. What makes this place such a gem is the people working for the hotel. The concierge we dealt with most often spoke great English and helped us with so many things, from booking tours, to assisting us with our rental car, even though none of our bookings were actually through the hotel. Also, the breakfast, which was part of the room rate, was great!!! The hotel is just a short walk from the local subway station, right in the heart of the business district, and close to several shops and restaurants. It is also just a few blocks from some nice parks, where we ran a few miles and used some work out machines. Great experience! I think once this place is renovated, it will be 5 stars across the board!

My fiance and I stayed at the Plaza El Bosque for 4 nights on our vacation to Santiago. The location was great and safe. It is only a few blocks from the financial district (if you sit in the lobby during rush hour, you will see many people walking to and from work from the metro, which is only about a 5 min walk). The hotel is two blocks from two large avenues (El Bosque and Isidora Goyenechea) which had dozens of different types of restaurants to choose from (including paella, italian, hot dogs, burgers, mediterranean, and even Applebees, Ruby Tuesday's, and Starbucks). There is a Citibank a few blocks away. For snacks and water, there is a convenience store right across the street called OK Mart, but for toiletries, the pharmacy around the corner on El Bosque was much cheaper. The room was spacious enough, with a living room area that contained plenty of seating and a small kitchen table. In addition, there was a small kitchen that had a small fridge, microwave, stove, sink, and counter space, all of which we never really used, but would have been useful. The room also came with daily breakfast in the dining room, which was buffet style (pastries, eggs, bacon, ham, juices, coffee, etc). The lobby and dining room has free wifi and computers to use. The service was superb and spoke good English -- the staff was all very pleasant and answered all of our questions and concerns. They helped us plan/reserve daily tour packages (we used Turistik), which picked us up and dropped us off from our hotel. The hotel also has taxis that they can schedule to bring you to the airport for a fixed rate. Victor was especially helpful and we always loved seeing him around in the lobby. We would highly recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

I have stayed at El Bosque Suites regularly for the last several years. Overall it is a good quality hotel with large "suite" style rooms, meaning that they have bedrooms and sitting room and small kitchen. The service is good and helpful, without being pampering (which I don't need or want.) I speak some Spanish, but all the staff seems to know English. I travel on business and the hotel is well situated for my needs. There are a lot of restaurants close by and metro stations within a few blocks. It is not a particularly "touristy" part of town. My only criticism of the hotel is that it is starting to show some age. The fixtures, etc need to be updated/replaced to stay a solid 3 star hotel. Especially given the number of new, international chains and boutique hotels that are opening in Santiago. Overall I recommend this hotel given its price/quality ratio and because you get a lot of space. However, if you want to be pampered or are looking for the "newest and best" there are other (more expensive) options that will better suit you.

Staff were courtious and helpful. The apartment was a clean and bedding changed daily. The apartment was convenient to the supermarket, subway and busstation,you can buy a card and add trips on. you can use them to visit the craft and fresh food market held on a Saturday also a good way of meeting the local inhabitants. I would definately stay there again.

If you want a stay in Santiago not for seazing hotel amenities, but for enjoying the city, I would definitely indicate this hotel.

the hotel is home away from home.

The Plaza El Bosque Suites is located in a busy business district of Santiago. Because of that there are LOTS of places to eat and buy supplies near by. With so many people around we felt very safe in walking round. The staff was excellent and there is always someone at the front desk that speaks English. We only stayed two nights, but the suite was so nice I wanted to move in. The included breakfast was European style and had a good variety. The only negative was that they are in a busy part of town and there was a lot of street noise, but that is hardly their fault.

I've stayed in different hotels in Santiago, including Plaza El Bosque Park (on Ebro St), which is run by the same company, and this is my least favorite of all of them. I probably will not stay here again. Pros:- Excellent location (safe neighborhood, close to lots of restaurants, metro, easy to take a taxi, etc) - Very good service (employees were very corteous and helpful) - Nice breakfast buffet (many choices and it is included!, at least with the price I paid) Cons: - The rooms look VERY old (except for the TV and some things in the bathroom (not the tub)). They have a kitchenette, but appliances are extremely old. Didn't use any of them, so I'm not sure if they are working fine. Carpet is old as well, so it gives the impression of being dirty. Shower faucet had rust in it. - Internet access is NOT free and it doesn't work very well sometimes. It only lets you access through one device at a time, so if you want WiFi on your phone and your PC at the same time, you'd have to pay twice. Disconnecting from one and connecting on the other one does not work 100% of the time. I am not very picky when it comes to reviewing hotels, usually, but I think this was worth mentioning. I think I had read similar reviews before but decided not to pay attention (should have).

Very smal bathrooms and lousy showers. Would not recomend.

In the heart of the financial district on a relatively quiet side street. Walk to excellent restaurants, metro stop, Providencia, and a short cab or metro ride to downtown. Elegant decor. Very reasonable rates. Suites are somewhat small but comfy. WiFi available only on main floor. Very good breakfast, pleasant patio. Parking garage.

We would definitely stay here again. Great location, walking distance to pub, salon, shopping center, restaurants, metro and cafes. The staff was very resourceful, the rooms clean and the suites and kitchenettes a bonus.

Looks like an american hotel in a country where hotels are usually different. Even the breakfast is more american than chilean. Everything was fine in the suite (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, one kitchenette and one living room), except that no WiFi was available in the hotel!!! WiFi is usually free in hotels in Chile, even in restaurants and cafes, so I don't understand why in this hotel you have to pay to get access: US$2 for 15 minutes, and only available in the lobby... Also, note that in each of the two bedrooms, there were 2 single beds, no double or queen bed.

The hotel is tucked away on a quiet street but in the best/safest area of Santiago. A majority of the Embassy's are in the area and there are lots of restuarants and parks nearby. Our standard room was a two suite room with a small private kitchen with refrigerator. With a Supermarket two blocks away, you can fill it with plenty of wine and beer. The front desk personnel fight to do their best with English, but are not fluent. However, they could win the award for friendliness and do know where the best restaurants and nightclub are for your entertainment. Just give them enough time to work through the communication issues.

Plaza El Bosque Hotel in Santiago: This is a generally nice hotel with an attentive staff that tries to make its customers happy. The price was very good for the amount of space that we got. The hotel has a taxi available to take guests to other parts of the city at reasonable rates and is close to the metro. The area is called "SanHatten" by the locals and appears to be a mostly business area. Our 2 room suite was simply but nicely furnished with a very comfortable bed and a small kitchen and bathroom. There was ample storage space, the included breakfast was good and varied. There was a small amount of free internet (it seemed to be 15 minutes a day free and then a nominal charge for longer use. The lobby had wifi, but the rooms have only cable access with didn't work for our MacBook Air. My only complaint was the bathroom which had not been updated to the level of the rest of the hotel and suite. The vanity showed wear, the shower enclosure was heavily caulked and rather unsightly, the vent cover was scratched and chipped. There was no hair dryer in the suite but was provided when we asked, as was an iron. there were no tissues in provided, something I have never encountered in any accommodation, even small B&Bs. The section of the city in which it is situated did not really offer much in the way of historical sites or museums and we were disappointed by the local restaurant that we tried, but it is easy to get to other parts of the city. There were armed guards in front of the hotel some of the time that we were there but not all of the time. We never figured out why.

O atendimento deixa um pouco a desejar, tentaram colocar coisas no meu consumo que não existiam. De resto o hotel é fantástico. Voltaria sem dúvida!!

Absolutamente tranquila, sem intercorrências, café da manhã muito bom, localização perfeita há 5 minutos do Shopping Constanera, duas quadras do metrô, Supermercados e lojas, e apesar do movimento do bairro está em uma rua tranquila.

Hotel excelente, ótima localização, perto do metro, Shopping, farmácias e lojas de conveniência. Quarto maravilhoso. Grande e bem dividido. Cama confortável e excelente limpeza. Parece um apart. Funcionários da recepção super agradáveis. Recomendo e me hospedarei novamente. A única coisa que poderia melhorar é o café da manhã e o atendimento dos garçons durante o café. Todos os dias de minhas estadia tive de esperar mais de 15min para organizarem a minha mesa e me servirem com café e leite, e além de tudo são grosseiros. Devem achar que pelo motivo do café da manhã ser cortesia do hotel podem fazer isso... No mais, tudo certo.
