this hotel is old and in need of a face lift.

The rate was accomodating. The breakfast was nothing to cheer about. There should have been more of a selections. using the computer was hard.

not satisfied the temperature in San Antonio was 80 - 83 degree the air conditioner in room didn't blow enough cool air to cool off the room. The room was furnished with old broken furniture. Poor lighting in the bathroom. The Jacuzzi next to swimming pool out of order all 3 days I stayed at this hotel. Unfortunately, couldn't change to another room or hotel because it was Fiesta time in San Antonio and most hotels were booked. You get what you paid for.

Hotel was decent and the staff was very pleasant. The location is in a very inconvenient location if you want to take ih-10 into downtown (easiest way) for any events. If you want to take ih-410 anywhere then you're good but getting to ih-10 east is a problem.

I paid for my daughter and sister to stay in the Howard Johnson hotel for my daughter's birthday. The room had a broken towel rod and burned out light bulbs. When I called the front desk to have those things fixed, I was rudely told by Carlos there was nothing he could do and I would have to wait til the morning. I was also told there were no other rooms to change to. I called Hotels.com to press a complaint. After a brief hold, the rep from Hotels.com told me to return to the front desk and we would be changed to another room. There were no further issues. However, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The room was not properly prepared for guests, it never should have been released to guests. Carlos was so rude, I would hate for anyone else to experience his nastiness. I have stayed in hotels around the world for business and pleasure and I have never experienced this type of unpleasantness. I am still in disbelief regarding the atay.

Fair rates, clean room, close to family.

Our room was fine however the neighborhood was run down and we were concerned about our car overnight. Notices posted on all the outside doors from local police warning about breakin's, outside "security" doors were not closing properly. Tried to use the outdoor pool and the heaters were out. Used the guest laundry and there was no light in room, had to bring a flashlight; the washer was filthy and we had to clean it before we could use it. Breakfast was terrible, no fresh fruit only sweets and cereal. Location was okay, close to freeways to get downtown.

Room was in front of the pool first floor it was good with some shade areas and chairs for relaxing

Good stay,no complaints.

The front desk employees very helpful with questions, our room was clean and quite, perfect for our needs at an affordable price.

We would definitely stay here again! It was easy to get to where we needed to go although it is situated it an odd location. Our GPS took us through a neighborhood but right to it. Staff was great! It is not a five star hotel but is a great value for the $$

We stayed here for a family vacation. It was very pleasant and quiet. The room was clean and the staff was helpful.

Centrally located, room was large enough for five. We just had a problem with pool not being open but two days of our stay. Since the rates weren't bad for the room we received we would stay again!

Room felt and smelled dirty. Bathroom light on timer which kept turning off. Other wise bed was confortable and clean sheets. Would not stay here again.

This hotel was actually nicer than I thought it would be. It is close to downtown. The staff was very friendly & accommodating. For the price I thought it was good...the room was clean, breakfast was good and it had a. Nice big pool.

Good for one night... Cheap, convenient. No frills

Everything was great people were nice room was clean.. But housekeeping did not actually clean they just made bed and put towels we had beer.bottles still there just moved somewhere else ndd pizza was just placed nicely on another table... But despite that it was exclent not as close to dwntwn as i thought 10-15 minutes away from the.riverwalk.but it was great if i go back ill stay.again

went to san antonio to go to riverwalk mardigras...hotel was very easy to find and about a 10 minute drive to riverwalk, hotel is a bit older but the service was great i called the front desk to ask for a few more towels and i got them in less than 3 minutes...everyone i talked to at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. breakfast had a good variety and had waffles...everything in room worked nothing broken might be back again in the summer..thank you!!

The rooms were comfortable and the experience for the price was well worth it. No negative experience here. Staff was nice as well.

the tv did not work and i was told....im sorry, nothing was done to fix the situation.

Make sure you ask what includes in the room before getting there cause anything extra they try to charge. Ex. Sofa bed wasnt working requested roller bed charge extra Ten a night.

First let me say, the beds were extremely comfortable. I've stayed an 5 star hotels and have never been able to sleep well. The room was spacious(we got a queen suite, two queen beds). The floor was dirty with dark brown stains on the carpet. The carpets were not, it appeared vacuumed well. The bed sheets were stained. The free breakfast was ok, but not much of a variety. I do not plan to stay at a this Howard Johnson again. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, it was ok, but I will stay at an upscale hotel next time.

breakfast service was not good enough

Charged $150.00 on credit card for "dog" even though when I checked in I told them there was a service animal, which they said there was no charge for. They refunded the fee, but did not even bother to let me know they charged it until I saw it on my credit card bill.

other than having my property tampered with, and sink draining slow it was ok. dont you want me to be honest?

Staff is very friendly when I ask questions, such as where to see & where to visit.

Room and bath were clean. Everything we needed, cold A/C, fridge, micro, a safe, comfortable bed, clean pool, and a light breakfast in the morning. Target is across the street with a Starbucks, and IHOP is down the road. Had to travel to and from downtown San Antonio and Boerne, this hotel was minutes from each.

Housekeeping wasn't doing their job, didn't get sheets changed, coffee pot was left till we left the room from the day we got there

The hotel is hard to find even with the GPS! The hotel is and looks OLD and needs updating. The carpet was dirty. The pet fee was $25.00 per night. I paid less at better hotels. The staff was ok. I will not stay there again

Greetings....my stay was somewhat uncomfortable. The building does not have an elevator :-( making it difficult to lug my bags up to the second floor. I was disappointed when I saw what was available to eat for breakfast. There was OJ, coffee, and bread, bread, and more bread. No fruit :-( I will not stay at your hotel again.

My stay was very nice. The staff were great. Our room was nice and clean when we got there. We will stay there again.

I travel frequently and due to some movement limitations, I always request downstairs room near parking. Upon arrival, all downstairs room was sold out. I told the clerk, it is specified in my reservation, he told me is not there. As I re-review my reservation here at hotels.com, I can see clearly it is listed. In addition, the breakfast did not start until 7 AM. For some of us, this is a workday, as in most motels; breakfast should start at 6 AM.

The room was good. It had what we needed. Beds weren't all that good but were okay. The location was good and service was very nice. Staff was friendly and breakfast was nice as well. Would stay again with family for vaction near seaworld. Overall good!

Service was excellent, housekeeping could do a better job.

Hmmm if its between good and bad id stand in between. Inconvinienced by that side door that didnt function!
