La Concha Renaissance San Juan Resort - סן חואן

This is an excellent hotel and overall I had a positive experience. I was in a room with city view: the streets gets very noisy until pretty late during the weekend and would avoid this room if you plan to go to sleep early and don't have much tolerance for noise. Other than that, great hotel that I would visit again and again.

this place is gorgeous in and out. And the beach is amazing. The resort and it's staff are just a pleasure. The only thing that may bother people is that the rooms racing the pool and the street are quite noisy especially late into the night. Pay the extra to get a ocean view room to avoid this. Otherwise place is gorgeous. You will not be dissapointed. perfect distance from airport and cruise port- only a few minute taxi ride. Lots of places to eat nearby too.

The staff could not have been any nicer. The hotel and the facilities were very nicely maintained. Nice pools and beach. Great location, convenient to everything.

This is a great central San Juan location, but may not be right for a family vacation. There is good night life in this area and the noise makes it difficult for anyone that wants to get to sleep before 1am. We typically stay at 4-5 star hotels. This was more like a low end 3 star compared to US hotels in terms of cleanliness and quality.

Easy cab ride from airport, the entire staff from A - Z were SO friendly and helpful. La Concha is a fun spot. 4 pools, beautiful coved beach. I recommend getting an ocean view room. Some of the rooms have an entire glass wall which opens so we had a fabulous breeze and sounds of the ocean all day and night. We were not interested in the casino although it looked like a happening spot at night. If I had any complaints, I'd say they didn't do a goodt job of making sure the pool bathrooms were stocked adequately with toilet paper and paper towels. They got quite dirty but I'm sure it was due to the very crowded conditions because of Spring Break but that did get a little annoying. Also, just know that Puerto Rican's go at a little slower pace so food can take a bit longer, getting the bill takes a while, etc. But we would definately go back because the people were so nice and we liked the hotel.

My wife and I were here for our honeymoon a little over 40 years ago. We enjoyed the hotel then but it's much better now. The hotel had been renovated. This trip we had a jr, suite for two nights and it was very comfortable and the ocean view from the room was fantastic. Would go back again.

My boyfriend booked this resort for a romantic getaway in early February and we loved everything about the hotel except the beach isn't private as advertised. That really irritated me to no end....... There were locals and surfers everywhere using the hotels chairs and towels. Concierge often had a long wait. Perla was delish and so was the breakfast buffet. Rooms were cleaned daily and I felt comfortable walking in my room in barefeet. Loungers were easy to get in the pool area and drink/food service was always walking the pool perimeter. I did wait for 7 minutes one night in the lobby bar for a drinks hen it wasn't really busy. The bartenders walked right past me repeatedly. We had a beautiful view from suite 704. The only thing wrong with our room was the door. It slammed every single time we went in or out. There was a wind suction thing going on. The night before we left, house keeping grabbed ou towels and my new designer bathing suit was picked up with them. The hotel took my info and called me 24 hours later to say they had it and made me pay $27 to send it to me. I really felt it should have been paid by them since they grabbed it. All in all, we will stay there again next time.

This hotel is very modern, well maintained and in a wonderful location. The staff is attentive and well trained and the grounds are fabulous. We have nothing negative to say about this property and cannot wait to go back

Plain and simple romantic, waking up in the morning with the best view of the caribbean sea simply unforgettable. One of the best hotels in San Juan, location, location, location and beautiful crowd.

It was wonderful! We only stayed a few days after having chartered a catamaran to venture the SVI. But we loved it so much we're planning to come back to San Juan just to stay at the hotel.

Great! Staff is highly trained, surroundings are beautiful, the pools are heated!!

Overall, it was a good stay. The hotel amenities are very good, with Restaurants, pools, bar and very friendly staff. I was disappointed with the room. The doors on the 8th floor all need to have their hinges fixed to avoid slamming, as it was quite disturbing at night. The furniture has more wear and tear than I was expecting. The building seems to be getting worn on the main side, perhaps the upgrades have been done in the tower section and i would have preferred to have stayed there. The location is very central to the airport and old San Juan, however, not much to see and do around the hotel. Overall, a good place to stay for two or three days, as the service and amenties are very good.

La Concha is definitely a very nice, modern hotel. The pools and pool areas were very nice. The beach was pleasant, but the ocean was a little too rough for casual swimming. Perla is a beautiful restaurant and the food was delicious- a great experience all around! Breakfast at Aroma was sub par at best; however, we ate there only once, so perhaps it was an off morning. The staff were generally friendly and helpful. We specifically appreciated all of the help from Kristina, Francisco, and Victor- it really made our stay all the better! If you enjoy going to bed on the earlier side, you might want to consider a room with a balcony on the "newer" side of the hotel, as these rooms are reportedly further away from the weekend night action, which WILL keep you up! Overall we had a lovely time and would recommend the hotel to others:)

We loved this hotel! Finished our honeymoon with a short two day stay. The main floor lounge was swanky, W-esque style! Fun to have a casino, great food options, fun to have a casino, several pretty pools, great outdoor ambience and eating area, and great spot on beach! Highly recommend this hotel!

Possibly the greatest hotel stay Ive ever experienced, Doesnt get any better than this in San Juan, PR. Sauna, Inside pool, outside pool, clean beach, great restuarants on site, casino, and decent gym. Super friendly staff.

well the only thing i liked about the hotel was the italian restaurant..... the pool was not for kids too deep...... maintance in the room ..i had to call front desk cause it was already 2pm and the room wasnt done.....i booked a two bed room and they overbooked so they had to give me an airmatress that in the morning was flat.....for what i paid it is not worth it .

The hotel was beautiful and very modern. We had fun at the halloween party that took place in the hotel lobby. The beach was good, but not great. But that could have been contributed to Hurrican Sandy passing through. Overall, we would most definitely stay here again.

Have nothing but wonderful things to say about this property. From the moment you step onto the property, you are greeted warmly and enthusiastically. if the line starts to get long at the desk, suddenly a manager appears out of nowhere to make sure everyone is being served and to see if there's any questions. The rooms were immaculate, the pools were clean, and the food was outstanding. Would definitely return.

This hotel is on a very nice beach. Staff was very friendly and helpful. No free parking available. Valet parking is a bit steep, $20 per day.

The La Concha is a great hotel for anyone who wants to stay in PR. Once my friends and I arrived, we we greeted by everyone at the hotel and was treated very well. Our room was awesome, with a great view of the beach and ocean. The best part of the hotel was the 24/7 pools. Every night we would all end up lounging by the pool till the sun rose. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Amazing hotel

Had a five night stay at La Concha. Bottom line, this is one of the Top places to stay in your in or near San Juan. Great location, with view of the beach, three pools to choose from. Romantic beds spread out throug the property. The costumre service was Top notch. Theyll do whatever they can to make you feel welcomed, and you really have a since of family here. Shout out to the Concierge crew, namely Frankie. Aswell as the Vallet crew, all were amazing fellas. I would definitely stay again.

I go to PR about once a year, and i think this will be my new go-to hotel. Three infinity pools, one other pool, and a substantial beach. Rooms were modern but not overly so, lobby was trendy. Location was great- walking distance to many restaurants, Walgreens, etc. Fast cab ride to Old San Juan. Bathroom is well appointed with shampoo, conditioner, soap, shower gel, and lotion. Hair dryer is provided. Wish bathroom had a fan but that's minor.

Only complaint is someone pulled the fire alarm.

would have to say satisfying overall. good counter attention and all. Some areas not as clean and maintained. A little puzzled maybe lost (ha!) finding the way to the car in the lot, roomservice was average but good. Think I'll be back for a family weekend stay or so....

Our first room was on the 5th floor. Upon entering we found the room to be worn out looking, stain on carpet, rust spots on the metal furniture legs, etc. The deadbolt on the door would not lock. Strong food smells coming in from room door from the restaurant ventilator fans. They did move us to another room which was in better condition on the 10th floor. This was a "deluxe ocean frnt room, which is what we paid for( not an upgrade). Still had food smells coming through the closed door. Noisy people and traffic from steet also coming through front door all all night long.

beautiful hotel...rooms in new tower are very nice with great views to the water...lobby bar is gorgeous and a great gathering place for tourists and locals...I would return.

Me a two of my girls were here from LA for my 30th birthday. This place rocks! If you came to party this is the spot to be. Pool, location, ambiance. The people who posted bad reviews must be older or looking for something remote and relaxing.

I loved this hotel. It is beautiful! Great location. We even got an upgrade for an ocean view room on the top floor! There was still some noise heard from street level even on the top but your air conditioner is loud enough to cover it. I guess my only complaint is the noisy air conditioner and the shower water was never hot enough. Just luke warm. Taxis are really expensive. Anytime you want to go old town its a min $30 round trip. Old town is NOT walking distance from this hotel, its about 4 miles away. Prices are high for everything in San Juan. Min $15 for a basic entree. Even Subway (which is located across from hotel) is way more then you are use to.

Service was good except for the fact that we couldn't get bar service at the pool or beach until 11:00 a.m. Perla restaurant was exceptional, both for food and service.
