Tropical Princess Beach Resort & Spa - All Inclusive - פונטה קאנה

Our family of 5 stayed here mid-February for a week. We had our 3 young children, ages 5, 3 and 7 months. This resort definitely caters to French tourists. They even have French shows at night. The family room had three barely queen-sized beds, in two rooms. It also had two full bathrooms (showers, no bathtubs). The bathrooms definitely needed improvements, but were functional. During the weekend the water pressure was horrible! If you got any reasonable pressure with hot water, I'd be surprised! The beach was well kept and beautiful, but the waves were wayyyy to choppy for my children to go in.The three big pools were shallow enough and large, very nice. Finding a couple of chairs in the late morning was impossible. The worst thing about this hotel is that getting beach towels is impossible. No customer service at this hotel when it comes to beach towels!! The grounds were very well kept. The 'Royal vacations for life' 'timeshare-ish' guys are annoying. The food is ok. The fried chicken (tastes like KFC and Popeyes combined) at lunch on the beach grill is amazing! If you have small stroller children request a ground floor. They put us on the third floor with no elevator!!!!!! We requested a new room but didn't bother because we had settled in (we arrived at 10 at night). Overall, it's a decent hotel with some drawbacks. Definitely not a four star. Would I go back? With so many more hotels to choose from, probably not.

although i speak is english and spanish and most of the visitors were french speaking i felt wright at home....

As a Dominican living in the US, I think they are trying to keep the hotel for foreign tourists, which I'm not happy about. The Dominican dinner they prepared was not a good example of how delicious our dishes are. The Mexican night was really nice, but I have stayed in other hotels in the area and the services was so much better. The room was beautiful, the beach was really close, the pools were nice and some of the staff were good at their jobs. I just think that for a four star hotel, they should be doing better.

I liked my room, even so there was no table lamp on the night stand, so it was hard to read while in bed. Broken light bulbs in hallway, so I had a hard time to get around during the evening hours. Service bad, you should learn some spanish to get around. The food was plenty, but low quality. For the restaurants with service you need to make a reservation the same day. The service there was a little better, but still not good. Quiet resort, no party folks, lots of french people, who behave good, so this was a very good experience. Nice pools and beach, well maintained gardens.

recently went to punta cana for my bother's wedding and i stayed at the Tropical princess for 4 days from 08/25-08/29 and it was amazing, every thing was included, the food was great my favorites are the buffet restaurant & el pilon. you have to taste their orange juice & the coffee. they had all kinds of activities. i loved their disco. free alcohol ladies. Their staff are great folks,great sense of humor, joyful, down to earth. i will recommend it to anyone just don't use the phone.

The very first day I got there felt dissapointed of how dirty the beach was, full of this seaplants, but I guess it gets like that every day, the very next morning there were employees picking up and cleaning, so I enjoyed a beautiful clean beach in the mornings...

This is an excellent hotel with a superior customer service. I had a great time. The Show was great, but the best part was the food. The food is excellent and there is variety. The price was good too. You can really appreciate nature here, they have beautiful birds and the beach is great. The only thing is that is a big hotel, so it can be a little walk from the reception area to hotel room or restaurants, but if you are too tired you can always wait for hotel transportion, they have little cars that always drive around hotel to take guests where they want to go.

It is really a good experience. Nice personnel and they all had good attitude. I like most due to they had not only kid'sclub also teen's club. I highly recommend this Resort to others. What you pay for it, it's really worthy. Thanks,

Overall is a decent hotel, except that they charge you for everything, $15.00 for 12 hours of internet, $5 a day for the safety box. But the hotel is to spread out, they have golf carts driving you around, but the don't run that oftem

Reservei este hotel 'por engano', pois fiz uma reserva de quarto de R$ 260,00 achando q seriam para 2 pessoas, porém me enganei e era p/ apenas 1.. Tive q pagar a diferença.. Ou seja, o quarto para 2 adultos ficou em R$ 520,00/dia... e pagando esse valor espera-se qualidade compatível. As areas publicas do hotel são muito boas, varias piscinas, praia privada, tennis, atraçoes. PORÉM: como sao muitos funcionarios, tivemos desde de muitos simpáticos (principalmente garçons) até extremamente antipáticos (principalmente no lobby).O quarto é razoável, digno de um ** superior, ou no máximo *** . A comida é variada, porém de qualidade no máximo razoável. Existem vários bares, porém as bebidas do All Inclusive são ruins. Em resumo, não voltaria por um valor desses (Um preço de R$ 250,00 por dia por casal - seria o máximo que pode-se pagar nesse hotel no All Inclusive, daí p/ menos na minha opnião)

Mi estancia fue muy placentera, buena playa, rica comida, un paisajimos fenomenal, es un hotel para seguir visitandolo. El ambiente fue muy acogedor, los show nocturno espectacuales.

Dit was een vakantie om nog eens over te doen , kan geen negatieve punten opnoemen , enkel internet en dranken na middernacht aan de dure kant . heel vriendelijke bediening vooral in de restaurants en zeer net hotel .

Quarto fornecido tinha apenas a porta principal como ventilaçao e se, aberta, tirava a privacidade. Deficiência no sistema de luz acesa comandado perta porta. Cheiro de mofo no quarto. Dificuldade de comunicaçao com a recepçao para sanar as dificuldades encontradas. Recomendaria este Hotel, desde que sanadas esses inconvenientes, pois a localizaçao é ótima, os funcionários sao bastante prestativos e alegres, a proposta do hotel é boa, entretanto, falta profissionalismo na gestao do hotel.

Nosotras habiamos estado en el Bavaro Princess y aunque este es una estrella menos no pensamos que la diferencia era tan abismal.La habitación estaba llena de humedasd,el cuarto de baño parecia una discoteca de la poca luz que tenia,el espejo del armario lleno de manchas de humedad,la puerta de la nevera torcida....etc.No volveremos eso está clarissimo.Un Princess no puede dar esa imagen.

La primera impresion es que, viendo el hotel por internet la habitacion seria impresionante y sin embargo he ido a hoteles donde los precios son similiares y son mucho mejores. La primera habitacoin que nos toco la tuvimos que cambiar porque tenia olor a humedad y en verdad no estaba en buenas condiciones. Un vez hecho el cambio la segunda estaba en mucho mejor estado, el servicio a la hab es bueno, y por los valores que pagamos diria que no sobresalio. Con respecto a las instalaciones, tiene 3 piletas y puedes elegir segun tu gusto, desde aquella q tiene musica, mucha gente, barra hasta aquella que si bien tiene barra es mucho mas tranquila. Diria que en esto es muy bueno. Tiene para elegir y no aburrirse nunca lo siguiente, ping pong, arco y flecha, cancha de tennis, de futbol (aunque, nunca se armo partido), bochas y hasta veleros en la playa, diria que excelente. Para seguir diviertiendose podes optar por cenar (comida, capitulo aparte) y luego ir a ver una "obra", la cual deja mucho que desear no por los chicos que le ponen mucho animo y ganas sino por la falta obvia de presupuesto. Me hubiese gustado mucho ver algunos bailarines de merengue o bachata bien bailado.... Con respecto a la comida, en ningun momento falto nada, diria que es el punto mas fuerte que tiene el hotel, claro esta que uno sabe que va a un todo incluido y no aspira a tener gran calidad. En promedio de 1 a 5 le daria un 3,5.

excellent rapport qualite prix.......seul reproche: les mets chauds au buffet sont vraiment tiede quoique delicieux.

Vale a pena ficar nesse hotel. O pessoal que trabalha no hotel são super atenciosos e gostam muito dos brasileiros. O quarto que estava inicialmente estava com cheiro de mofo e fui transferido para um qto ótimo sem custo adicional nenhum. Basta saber conversar, ser educado e ponderado. O que se deve ter em mente é:definitivamente NÃO VAI CONSEGUIR COMER UMA COMIDA BRASILEIRA (TEMPERADA). Tentam te agradar ao máximo. O que acho engraçado é que brasileiro qdo vai para Miami aceita tudo, na Rep. Dominicana por ser menor que o Brasil, estão sempre reclamando das comidas. A comida é igual aqueles buffet dos EUA.
