Nice hotel. Friendly stuff. Good location near train and local transport. Rooms OK.. Near the Prater.

The single room I had was pretty tiny but still good fro laying your head. The bar has no food at all and after 11PM there is only a Pizza take away play at the U-Bahn to fill you stomachs.

It is conveniently located quite near the Praterstern Station in a quiet neighbourhood. The staff is good and goes an extra mile to make guests feel at home. Overall, it is a good place for business travellers.

We enjoyed the kindness of the hotel staff. The room was comfortable, plenty warm on our cold days. Good breakfast, with plenty of choices to satisfy. We would stay at this property again.

Very accessible to underground transport system which made entire city accessible. Staff was super helpful and pleasant. Room was modern, well decorated, clean, comfortable and we loved the shower.

Hotel Vienna is one of those pleasingly delightful Hotels! Situated in the second District, Hotel Vienna is very close to all the must see and do excursions in Vienna and the Hotel staff are most helpful. There is a 24 hour front desk service, breakfast comes with your stay and while you’re out and about arrangements can be made to have your clothe washed and ironed for a small charge. It has an old world charm yet is very stylish and modern with your comfort in mind. My husband and I visited Vienna in autumn and we look forward to returning, perhaps winter time. Air-conditioning is not available so I cannot say what summer entails, since I am from Australia and temperatures rise well above 40 degrees in my world. Maria

The hotel was recently renovated. Wi-Fi is available. Very good place to stay. I would definitely come back. Not very expensive. Overroll, it's a very good deal. Highly recommend.

I recently stayed (June 2012) at the Hotel Vienna using Hotel.com. I was returning from a business trip to Moscow and wanted a few days of holiday in Vienna. The hotel was clean, service was good and the front desk was helpful. The buffet breakfast is only a cold breakfast but relatively expansive, including Austrian sparkling wine. The location was near to two metros but was on a relatively bleak looking narrow street which seemed to magnify street noise. It is best to get a room at the rear if possible (try phoning the hotel after making the booking). The hotel does not have airconditioning which I guess is common in these types of properties but unfortunately the weather was in the 30s (90s for Americans). This necessiated keeping the window open but as noted above, any noise from the street was amplified. The hotel tried to get me to pay upon check-in even though I had pre-paid. They quickly and apologetically recognized their mistake so there was no problem. That being said, take a copy of your Hotel.com receipt with you. I made one 20 minute call to a local Viennese cell phone and it cost me about Euro 23 so watch your phoning. The hotel arranged wakeup calls and taxis as requested and served me a complimentary coffee during my early morning check-out. If you go in the summer and it is very hot, there is a great out-door swimming pool on a barge in the Danube about 15 minutes from the hotel. Highly recommended and only 5 Euro for 1/2 day.

Excellent value in central area. Near to the Prater U-ban puts you minutes from the VIC. Also the train station gives easy access to the airport at 4 Euro. My room was modern with AC or if you prefer a window that opens.

Car parking must be pre booked otherwise your'e in the street, i had a single room on the 4th floor the room was very small, bed was old and uncomfortable. resturant was only open for breakfast! i would not reccomend this hotel or would i ever stay there again Male 50's

Make to order scrambled eggs at the hotel were just fantastic! We liked the easy access to the city and many restaurants on the main road near by. The hotel staff was friendly and very co-operative. Some rooms are more tastefully decorated than others, but they all are fairly pleasant to stay in.

The hotel is next to a metro but the service is bad and they have no regard for the paying customer. Two examples. I asked for an iron late in the afternoon before i could go out. I was told i could not get an iron in my room as they dont allow irons in the room and the stuff that usually iron for 3 euro a garment have gone home. I pleaded to go to a laundry room where i could iron for myself. There answer was NO! I was shocked!!!! In fact i thought it was a joke...! The ventilator in the bathroom does not work ...see other review, as a result the bathroom stinks! In the morning its pain, the rude cleaners make noise and scream loudly as if they are sent to wake u up indirectly. Blatant disregard! The neighbour hood is dodgy...just about 100 metres, about red light club ! I WILL NEVER EVER STAy in this hotel again!!! Breakfast was nice though!

This reasonably priced small and quiet hotel is located close to the metro in a rather shabby side street near the Praterstern, a couple of stops out of the main tourist destinations. The newly renovated inside room we had was clean and comfortable with a fabulous "rain" shower, but lacked the comfort of air conditioning in the unusual thirty Celsius weather. An excellent breakfast was included. Staff were very helpful and friendly. One of our criteria was being pet-friendly, and the courteous night clerk immediately supplied a dog biscuit upon check-in. Parking, although advertised, consists of only two spaces in a garage, the remainder on the street and difficult to find during the day, as well as requiring a city daily permit that the hotel front desk can supply (5 EUR).

The hotel was very nice and the rooms were very clean. The location is close to the subway stop but is a little further away from the heart of the city and was a little hard to first locate. The staff was very friendly. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

tha hotel was in a very convenient position to get around vienna.A Ustation and bus station were just a few minutes down the road.Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby.the rooms were very comfotable and staff helpful.

I booked this hotel for my husband who was staying two extra nights after a conference. Not want to continue on at the expensive conference venue - he asked me to find him a hotel at a good price still in Central Vienna. He has not stopped talking about it since he got home! The location, staff, and service were all wonderful. His only neutral comments was that the room was small (but it was only him so he was fine with that), and that there was construction going on across the street which created some dust.. We are planning a trip together than includes Vienna and he's ready for a repeat stay.

No parking, construction going on across the street and noisy people at night. No restaurant or bar, mediocre breakfast.

Im Allgemeinen entspannend, da das Personal an der Reception auch zu später Stunde für einen netten Plausch sich Zeit nimmt für den Gast. Wenn vom Haus noch eine in absehbarer Zeit Parkplatzlösung für Hausgäste gefunden wird, finde ich das Hotel als durchaus empfehlenswert und von der Preis - Leistung her gesehen absolut mehr als im üblichen Rahmen für Übernächtigung mit Frühstück geboten wird.

Hotellet ligger ca. 400 m från Praterstern som det är mkt lätt att ta sig till från flygplatsen! Väldigt trevlig, snabb personal, bra frukost, bra städservice! Nyckeln lämnas i receptionen när man går ut, och det går snabbt att få den vid ingång igen, så man riskerar aldrig att tappa den. Positivt överraskad - utsidan ger inte sken av det man får uppleva på insidan!

Ein gemütliches Hotel, zentrumsnah und doch ruhig mit moderner Ausstattung

Godt hotel med dejlig morgenmadsbuffet. Tæt ved togstation - gode U-bahn-forbindelser. Området trænger til byfornyelse. Good value for money.

Ett hotell som man når lätt. 7 min promenad från station Praterstern som man i sin tur når direkt från Flygplatsen med linje S7. God service och trevliga, modernt inredda rum gör inte vistelsen sämre. Frukostbuffen får väl godkänt med såväl varm mat (korv och ägg) som yoghurt och ett brett urval av bröd och pålägg.

Excellent! Near underground and trams, 20 minutes walk to citycenter. High comfort and friendly staff. Champain to breakfast !

Das Hotel ist relativ alt, jedoch wurden die Zimmer und der Empfangsbereich inkl. Hotelbar vor einiger Zeit renoviert und sind in einem guten Zustand. Leider gibt es kaum Restaurants in der Umgebung. Ebenso ist es fast unmöglich einen Parkplatz zu bekommen. Während der Nacht ist es ruhig - auch bei geöffnetem Fenster. Das Personal war absolut freundlich. Frühstück wurde nicht konsumiert, das Angebot scheint aber sehr ordentlich zu sein.

It was said it is a 4 star hotel, which it really was, but the furniture inside the room is a hundred years old. Small, box style TV, othervise, nice, claen. Breakfast was good, but we had to stand in line till we could get a table?!

Primeiro problema, reservamos hotel com estacionamento, pois estávamos de carro; chegando lá, não tinha onde colocarmos o carro. Segundo, o hotel fica num local meio decadente e tem caracteristicas de 3 estrelas. Vantagem, que dá para caminhar até o centro e a estação de metrô está a 400m; lá tem excelente padaria e bom supermercado. Tem um restaurante italiano nas proximidades que é tudo de bom e o proprietário é muito simpático.

Das Hotel liegt in Top Lage für einen Wienbesuch und dennoch absolut ruhig. (Schlafen mit offenem Fenster). Jederzeit wieder, vielen Dank

Staff members are nice. Breakfast was good. You can enjoy glasses of champagne at breakfast time.

Ich habe nur eine Nacht in einem Einzelzimmer verbracht, insgesamt hat alles sehr gut gepasst: Das Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich, genauso das Badezimmer. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr ausgiebig, das Personal zuvorkommend, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Nähe zur U-Bahn Station ist ebenfalls als Plus zu bezeichnen. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Das Zimmer war sehr schön, genau wie auf den Fotos abgebildet. Das Frühstücksbufett war sehr vielseitig. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel
