If you are used to 1 room only then you will appreciate the extra living room kitchenette area. The hotel did major renovation and is very clean, appliances are all new but they didn't address the windows or the A/C system. There is a moldy smell in the whole hotel .The windows are from the 1950's and open with a tourniquet, none of the windows would close shut. We had to put pillows to muffle the outside noise and try to insulate the room. The a/c is a noisy wall unit which blast the bedroom with cold air but leaves the rest of the place warm.No screens on back windows so mosquitoes heaven in summer for sure.There was a mistake on the bill at check out time and they charged me for a pet staying in the room when we don't even have one.This issue is still not solved .

The outside needs some updating and we kept having a problem with our room keys. We literally had about 15-20 new keys made for a 5 day stay. We aren't sure why our keys kept getting de-activated but they were really nice at the desk. Another problem was, the website stated we were getting a 2 bedroom 2 bath, so we assumed it would be 2 full baths including a shower. We had only 1 shower for 6 people, so it was inconvenient but manageable. We were also not as close to the actual beach as we thought we would be. The positives.. The interior of the rooms were really nice, clean and updated. The staff was very accommodating and friendly; They also gave us some great tips for attractions and dining and provided us with the name & number of a free taxi company (they work for tips). The breakfast was good, as there were quite a few options; They had snacks available also for purchase. Overall it was a very great stay for they money. I would recommend for anyone who isn't concerned about being oceanfront and is looking for something comfortable that isn't terribly expensive.

Enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were clean and had good space. The pool area was nicely done. The staff was nice and the breakfast was adequate. Didn't realization it was "pet friendly" which was fine until I saw the bottom of our bags and there was pet hair all over them.

The room was very nice. The only complaint is the room was too close to the road. We could hear the traffic late night and early morning.

Updated, clean, spacious, friendly staff. Had no ideas what to expect, and was pleasantly surprised . Denise was great...made sure we were taken care of.i ll be back!

Recently updated, great value. Everything was great- and it was 3 minutes from Siesta Key! We will Most definitely return!

I use to live in the area and I came back for a short stay. When my wife got the reservations I told her to get reservations at the Hyatt too. When we arrived I was nice and a great price for us with our four legged friends. If you don't mind not staying at a four star hotel and need to bring your pets, this is the place. I would go back for another stay again.

Booking a last minute getaway, just the Mrs & I, We chose this hotel for price & location. We were taken aback & VERY Pleasently surprised how quaint & charming this hotel is. The rooms were spacious, had a full working kitchen, with REAL silverware & glassware & coffee cups. (Imagine that). The check in staff were friendly & kind, even invited us back on our way out the next morning. When we travel, i'm usually very critical of restaurants & lodging, HOWEVER I could not find ANYTHING to critize. Next time the wife & I go to Siesta key, this WILL be our 1st choice.

Close to the beach & local shoppes this hotel was a lovely place to stay for the weekend. I was able to cook & family was able to stay over on the pull out sofa. A few things weren't working such as the blind in the window but staff was friendly & prompt to meet our needs. I'd stay again!

The hotel is very nicely situated and very clean. We specially like the fact that you get an actual seperate bedroom so it worked very nicely for the children.

Location convenient but car essential. Very impressed by spacious room, price, cleanliness.

When my husband and I travel we look for lodging that is pet-friendly with safe surroundings, with cleanliness, comfort and reasonable prices. The Hibiscus suits our needs. We have been enjoying this hotel for get away days for nearly 2 years. We enjoy nearby Siesta Key Beach and Siesta Village. We come here to get away for long weekends as often as we can living only 2 hours away. The pool was very clean and the deck had plenty of chairs with cabana and fountain and a gas grill. Although we did not use it, it looks lovely. For those who are looking for the things we enjoy in travel this will suite you. If you are looking for a 5 gold star, beach front luxury hotel this is not that. One drawback we did have with this visit our The lid on our toilet seat was missing--quite odd. We called for help or a plunger as our bathtub drained very slow but no one showed. All the while the room still met our needs. The king size bed we had was comfy, fresh and clean. It balanced out the slight inconvenience.

Great location, 5 min. drive to Siesta beach. Clean room, very comfortable mattress, friendly service. Breakfast is modest, but sufficient: cereal, milk, bagels and cream cheese, yogurt, danish, muffins, cookies, coffee. Would be nice if they served some fruits. They were in the middle of renovations when we stayed, but you couldn't tell, there was no noise. It was nice to have the convenience of the stove and a fridge in the kitchen. Overall, very nice.

the staff were helpfull and friendly and fixed any problem right away. the hotel gave us a feeling that the staff cared. we would stay here again!

I wasn't dissapointed. Hotel was average. Better than expected. Will return for another trip.

We loved the all Suites Inn. It was comfy but met all of our needs. We must have been in one of the renovated rooms because everything was updated and looking great. The hotel is only about a 5 minute drive to the best beach in the USA(it really is the best here in the states) The staff was really helpful at check in and check out as well. When i visit again i'll be staying at this same place. Loved it!

we needed somewhere to stay for an event in siesta key, and this place fit the bill for an inexpensive stay. it was not a modern hotel by any stretch, but it was clean and comfortable and fine. The only weird thing was that our bedroom door opened up to a not-so-nice neighborhood. good, free coffee in the office!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hibiscus Inn. The staff were friendly, helpful and always available for whatever we needed!! The rooms were very clean and spacious! We ended up cooking in our room a couple times and were very pleased with the kitchenette. If I had to pick something to change or comment on, it was the pool temperature. Don't get me wrong...it was very clean and the pool area was very nice. We even used the grill one night...it's just that after being at the beach and the fact that it was summer time and hot as all get out, it would have topped it off to jump into a little colder of a pool than it was. But really, everything was still perfect!! We WILL be going back there again!!!

The surprise continental breakfast was wonderful. In addition, we asked if we could borrow a few chairs to go to the beach & the front desk staff gave us their own beach chairs to use. Great customer service & quite friendly.

Loved our stay! The room was comfortable and the beds were truly amazing, we all slept like babies. Ellentown outlet mall was only 20 mins. away, where we were able to get some fantastic deals for back to school. Pool was clean with perfect water temperature. 5 mins. to Siesta Key Beach and Village. The staff was fantastic!

Very nice for motel setting. My only complaint is that the bedroom was stuffy. AC vents in front room not able to reach back room where the bed is so if you need a cooler atmosphere you will not be happy here unless you sleep in front room pullout which is not comfortable.

Enjoyed everything about this Inn, except the a/c was in living room,and could not get comfortable in the bedroom. It needs to be updated, so there is a/c in bedroom. Too hot in there! I'm sorry, but that's the truth. If it gets fixed, wouldn't mind returning.

The hotel was just about five minutes away from Siesta Key Beach. Its is just 10 minutes away from restuarants and shops. The room was comfortable and very clean. I loved that it has a full kitchen. My friends and I really enjoyed our quick trip away. The comfort and convience was a plus. Will definitely stay there again with my two girls.

Just what we needed for a short visit to Sarasota. Renovation of units is well done. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Would stay at Hibiscus again!

We had a great stay here. We had a two bedroom suite and the only problem was in the one bedroom the airconditioner didn't seem to reach in there from the living room unit so it was warm. Had to turn ceiling fan up on high to get air circulating.

Is a very nice hotel to enjoy as a family.The people that work ther e are very nice and they take care of whatever you need.I'll defenetly will go back.
