The Villas of Grand Cypress - אורלנדו

This became the place I'll stay with every trip to Orlando. I'm almost afraid to say how much I loved and enjoyed it because I don't want it to be fully booked the next time we go back! The Villas are set back into gorgeous golf course landscape, but still close to everything to be easy to get around. The service was impeccable and the room was large and beautifully decorated (I came back with new ideas for a bathroom remodel at my own place) Our next stay will be longer for certain, because we didn't even get to use all the lovely amenities the property offers. I'm already planning my next trip!

All the amenities of a "high end" resort at a bargain price

fantastic hotel, could not fault anything. spotlessly clean, fluffy towels/dressing gowns, pillows. Ifmyou get the chance definitely one to visit!

I just felt removed from Disney parks. The office was not an easy walk from the room. There are golf carts, but it seemed odd to have to use a cart. It was very quiet! The golf courses looked nice! We were there with children. I think it is better suited for adults who want to golf.

Fantastic service! Almost scary how efficient. Bathroom needs updating.. but ive heard they are scheduled to update all the villas by Feb 2013. Only 2.5 miles from Downtown Disney, and perfecting secluded from the fast-paced Orlando. Overall, fantastic service and experience.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The surroundings were peaceful and serene. Bathrooms large and accomodating, beds comfortable and kitchen a definite plus. Would definitely stay at this location again.

Could not fault this part of our recent trip to America. The complex was stunning, the staff extremely helpful and courteous. Our villa was simply amazing. Close to local shops and quite close to the interstate for easy access to the rest of florida. Will absolutely be looking to stay here again when we go back to Florida.

FIRE ALARM WENT OFF ALL NITE, NO SLEEP. NEVER EVEN OFFERED US BREAKFAST. SURPRISED BECAUSE WE STAYED THERE BEFORE

Hotel was easily accessible to the Disney parks, offered shuttle service to the transportation areas for the parks, but not to Downtown Disney, which would have been really nice. Overall, I have nothing bad to say about our stay. The room was very nice, staff very helpful in showing us where things were, climate control location and use for the room. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. We will definitely stay here again next time we go to Disney!

Ok, as a matter of ethics I have to praise the Villas of Grand Cypress, even as I fear its popularity and rates will explode with its pending remodel/update. We've stayed there 3 times and can't speak highly enough about the service--staff so friendly and responsive, seem to love their work, and many have been there over a decade. Good pool plus access to insane Hyatt kids' pools at hotel next door (free shuttle) and acres of bike riding trails w free bicycles (incl bikes w training wheels and child carrier seats), pitch n' putt golf at Hyatt also for kids. We love this place (and we don't even golf...).

The hotel was not verry kid friendly. The shuttle was nice, and was able to take you to their other hotel. The hyatt had a super pool. My family and I spent most of the time at this hotel instead.

Very quiet, relaxing, great rooms and close to attractions.

The good: Guard gate, well landscaped grounds, open spaces, peaceful, pleasant...the villas are clustered in the center in multi-unit buildings. Close parking, private entrances, spacious layout of the two bedroom unit (two story), rear patio nice, clubhouse restaurant good but overly expensive, located very close to Disney without being in dense surroundings, overall good value. The so-so: carpet, furniture, counter tops, appliances are all dated / worn, there is a non-refundable pet fee of $150 that isn't stated (or clearly stated) on Hotels.com.

We had complimentary Wifi in the room. Its a huge plus when traveling for business. The hotel is very well kept and for my one night stay I have nothing but great things to say.

We loved the Villas at Grand Cypress. The room was huge and clean and exceeded our expectations. The staff all treated us so kindly and made us feel important. We loved all the activities included in the resort fee and wish only we had had time to do more of them. It was very close to Disney and not far off the freeway. We would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is very beautiful and comfortable but not so close to Disney as I expected, therefore I could really not enjoy the hotel very much, for which our family felt sorry. The service provided by the recpetion staff was outstanding. The in-room service could be a bit better. There was one lamp missing in the room and it could not be replaced for it was a too old model... The bathroom was not as clean as should be.

Great place to escape the frenetic pace of theme parks and traffic. Clubhouse restaurants were convenient and staff pleasant. Room furnishings dated but clean and comfortable. Location a plus! Will retun.

We are very satisfied with the staying. Large living space and full kitchen, comfortable and easy access to must-see sights.

Be sure to avoid leaving the hotel during the hours people are arriving at or leaving Disney as it can take a full hour to drive two blocks.

first you enter the room, carpets smell dirt. You wake up in the morning there is no shampoo!!!

The staff at the hotel are all very helpful, friendly and cheerful. Everyone we met was very eager to help us. The grounds and villas were beautiful. It is a great location since you can see the fireworks at the Disney Parks from the property without the hassle of the crowds or the noise of the fireworks. We had room service each day and it was all very good food that was delivered quickly and was reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning to Grand Cypress.

What a beautiful place. My husband and I wished we could have stayed longer. From the moment we turned into the resort we were amazed at the surroundings. From the security at the front of the entrance to our warm welcome at the front desk we felt so special. We had a King Suite. The bed and pillows were so comfortable we slept like babies. The room was very clean, the balconies very private. We didnt' get to see the pool area as we wasted a day going to Universal Orlando (we wished we would have spent the day around the pool and taken advantage of the bike paths). My husband golfed one afternoon and I was allowed to go along with him, it was a beautiful course. At night the parking lot around the villas were full but we didn't hear the neibors next to us, the units were very quiet. We felt very safe, never did we see suspicious people wondering around like another review had suggested. This place is top notch, we are from Canada and if we go to Orlando again we will definately stay at The Villas of Grand Cypress. Just like another reviewer had said,'your in Orlando and huge city but you would never know it when you are at this resort, it's so quiet and private away from the hussle and bussle of the city'. Our last evening we did see in the distance fire works from Disney World.

The Grand Cypress is one of the prettiest hotels we've ever stayed at. The grounds contain an unbelievable collection of foliage, flowers, and trees. The view of the golf course - stunning. And the pool was fabulous. My suggestion: Go during the Florida golf "off-season" (hot summer months), and you will have the place to yourself! Off the beaten-Disney path, this hotel is quiet and serene. A great place to unwind after visiting the Orlando amusement parks (and is a stone's throw from Disney). Just one complaint: If you visit the pool during the hours that the snack bar is closed, bring your own towel from your room - they lock up the towels with the snack bar!

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was nice to be a bit away from the Disney scene, yet close enough to enjoy all of it. The room was very comfortable and clean. A resort fee of $22 per night is not included in the cost. However, we went to the Hyatt pool as the resort fee allows and found it to be very fun!

Limited service to Disney and Universal and was surprised that additional room fees were billed at check out rather than included in the advertised room rate. Nice room, staff is friendly and helpful, but if you are interested in doing the parks - not at all convenient.

A real standout in a forgotten service..courteous, helpful, respectful staff . This property is a serene "oasis" in the middle of a mass tourist trade. My daughter left behind her treasured kitten pillow. It was turned in by maid service and mailed the next day! Even if golf is not your priority, this was a pleasant change from the nearby crowds. Highly rated by this central Floridian.

Booked for comfort flew out the next day. Checked in at 6:00 PM for a one night stay and was hit with a $22 convience fee. When I asked what for I was told parking and the fishing pier????

My only negative is that the "in room wireless" is listed as a "B" format which it did functioned as; very slowly. This minor inconvenience was more than offset by the free upgrade they gave us. It was palatial!

We needed to find a pet friendly hotel and The Villas of Grand Cypress was one of the ones listed by Hotels.com. The reviews were great and so was the price, so we took a chance and we are happy we did. The staff was AMAZING, so helpful and courteous! The grounds were impeccable and although we don't golf, the views of the courses were fantastic! GREAT expericence all around!

The family and I had a great time. The room was perfect - plenty of space, view of the Disney fireworks, and fished off of the back patio. Will definitely return.

We got one of their Villas. It gave us a lot of space, two big bathrooms, a huge livingroom and nice kitchen. We used the free shuttle to Disneys transportation centre. Perfect! We could skip the car and all the lines for parking. The golf course was just awesome. Wonderful and friendly staff. We really recomend this place if you want to play golf and/or are visiting Disneys Theme Parks.

No Internet in the room 4042.Charged $18 for it.The rooms are isolated in the bushes.A worker was sitting in front of our room at around 6-7 PM with a bag. Scary!

Property had computer system issues upon check in. Given incorrect bed type in error. Front line people did not want to disturb manager who was "hiding" in back room while other angry customers came in and went . Heater and air conditioner did not work. Room walls so thin could hear entire conversations in villas beside and above ours.

The location is prime and the Villas are spacious. Beautiful location in middle of golf course. Great service. Great price. Disappointment in hidden nightly Resort Fee we had to pay at check out which were not disclosed at booking nor check-in. Extra nightly charge for regrigerator and microwave really lowered the class. Never have had to pay for appliances before. Tacky!! Overall, I still recommend it and will go back!
