The hotel was an amazing value for the price. The front desk staff did everything in their power to make our stay as comfortable as possible. This hotel is literally across from the beach and only a short walk to the bangla road party scene. The rooms were a bit small and dated, but the air conditioner worked fine and we were provided with plenty of towels and fresh linens. Compared to beach hotels in say, southern california, this hotel is more than adequate. If you are looking for a decent hotel near the beach and the action, and you are on a budget, look no further. I would definitely stay here again.

The overall stay at this hotel was so so. Nothing spectacular to talk about except that the location is superb. Be prepare to climb stairs as this hotel does not have a lift. The wifi in this hotel sucks a big time as it break down often.

Hi, I stayed in this hotel in my recent visit to Phuket between 6-9 April 2012. I had read the reviews and was not expecting much, but had read that the hotel location was good. And I completely agree. The hotel location was definitely good, right across the street from Patong beach and in the vicinity of lots of food outlets and shops, so you have lots of stuff to do when free. But the experience inside the hotel was not that good. The staff was friendly but knew very less english, the room was on the second floor, and they didnt had any lifts available, so you have to climb the stairs, even after a long day of shopping and with loads of stuff in your hands. Then the room, although it was a superior room and the size was good, but there were literally no window, just blocked from every side. The bathroom had cockroaches inside and initially you had to keep your feet keepng them in mind. After a couple of hours, they dissapeared, and then it was better. Hotel did had a small pool at the fourth floor, but we didnt tried that. So my recommendation will be to look for someplace which atleast has a balcony, it doesnt matter if you are so close to the beach,if you cant see it from your room. So stay here only if any other hotel in a similar price category in the vicinity is not available.

The only thing that I can say is the service was good, the people were very friendly. It was close to the beach and all amenities. But the room was not clean and very small, (not like the picture). I don't think they know how to clean, as they never used cleaners, just turned on the water to rinse. The bathtub had scum that had probably been sitting there for a long time and the shower curtain was black at the bottom. They put us on the fourth floor (I think thats were all the people who have a deal go), which is a long climb as there are no elevators. After being there for a week, we found other hotels cheaper and cleaner. Breakfast was good. I would not stay there again.This should be rated a 2 star only!

Nice, clean and cheap

It i snot value buying , with the same amount u can get better hotels and good rooms. This rooms are average. We would recommend this hotel only for person who is looking for place near patong beach. This hotel is very close to patong beach and market. Many Indian hotels are very next to this hotels. But if u want to be little away from city crowd and very good room condition than there are many options

We had a good time, however, it was annoying how the hotel had no elevator. We had a 1 yr old with us, and lugging the stroller up and down got old. The location is perfect, across the street from the beach. The bad part if that the beach charges you 150 per CHAIR. No matter how long you spend. If you sit down, it's 150 Baht. We chose to sit on the sand on our towels instead. The WIFI in the room worked 3 out of the 6 days we were there... Also, it's cheaper to book tours on the street than at the hotel. Same for taxi to airport. Tailor on the side of the hotel ROYAL KING was great. Hotel pool is ok.

5 min walk to bang la road (tourist stip) and beach at hotels door step. Very good location. McDonalds and burger king are also right next door. All and all great stay.

Little budget hotel in the heart of phuket beach area. U can step right into the action, go straight to the beach and there are lots of shops and restaurants in the area too. There is also a small air conditioned waiting room for guest at the lobby area. It's good as we waited for our taxi and had our rest in air con comfort. The weather in Phuket is extremely hot! It's a nice little hotel to stay with a budget! There are steam rooms and a tiny swimming pool for guests to use too.

For the price we paid, there's not many complaints. The only problem was that their wifi was not working while we were there. The staff were generally helpful (save for the wifi). They were also doing some renovations while we were there, so it was a little noisy. The location is really good though. The beach is right across the street, and the hotel is only a short walk away from Bangla street. There are plenty of eateries around. It's also a short walk from the market where prices are somewhat cheaper than the beach road. And Hard Rock Cafe is nearby too. All in all, I would say that you generally get what you paid for with the Royal Palm Beachfront.

STAFF VERY VERY HELPFULL AND KIND

Most convenience hotel you could ever think off in Patong. Price is very reasonably compare to others. Breakfast was excellent! Although the staff have a bit of language barrier, we had a great time staying here. Just a step to the beautiful beach where the fun begin and to the nite life of Patong that never sleep. We would definitely come back and stay here. In fact, I've already recommended it to our friends. Keep up the good work and please maintain the service.

Hotel has a really good location. Rooms are ok, breakfast was ok, pool was ok... All in all it wasn't amazing, but definitely ok! Not a bad choice for the price. The staff were always polite and usually friendly too.

Buffet breakfast for the package of 7 additional Singapore $ was a good deal. Plenty choice. However, I'd booked a superior room with 3 beds, more for the feeling of extra space, but turns out it was only a 2 bed. Didn't argue since I didn't need even the 2nd bed but they should be more specific in advertising. Some of the staff are good although speaking and understanding halting English. Others are pretty much in their own world, like for instance those who service the buffet area. These things can matter if you want a seamless holiday experience so if you want better, you'll have to spend more on another hotel. Bangla road, the liveliest part of the town and a must-visit no matter what your choice of lifestyle, is closeby, but can take about 5-7, maybe 10 minutes to walk to its centre. If you like to stroll across back home quickly after a night of drinks, remember this can be quite a walk unless you're high and maybe need the exercise. Otherwise, it's nicer to be even closer to the nightlife. The tuk tuks would be a rip off to go to those close distances so don't even think about them unless 200 baht, as someone told me, is okay for you for a half kilometre distance. Of course part of the reason for the huge fare must be that it's a one-way road and the tuk tuks need to circle all over town to come back to the original spot. The Wi-fi password for my room didn't seem to work but I didn't need it badly anyway so didn't bother to check at the reception. Maybe it does, so don't get disheartened as they seemed professional when handing out the envelope for the passwords for individual rooms. Cleanliness is good and even the basic amenities like returning to the airport and co-ordinating the times for your mini van (170 baht) pickup are close. Actually they're in the same hotel and for no extra charge. There's a travel agency rep who sits in the hotel foyer and she's likely to take you to the next building where the office is. Great location, very central and walking distance to the buzz of Patong. Staffs are very friendly and the rooms and toilet are clean.

Very nice well prices hotel in the middle of exciting Patong. Just a cross the street from the beach and in a very busy area it still is relatively quiet. Nice morning buffet. Room was small and older, but for the price was an excellent deal. If you are in Phuket with plans to be out of your room most of the day and only need a place to crash at night this is a great place to stay.

The Royal Palm Beachfront was a great place to stay. Great location directly opposite the beach and only a 10 min walk to Bangla road. Nice room and great breakfast. The omlette lady was awesome and remembered exactly what we had every day. Would recommend anyone to stay there. Only problem was that they were doing room renovations opposite our room and down the hall so there was a lot of noise and dust but once that's finished it should be a good place to stay. And they started work around 9:30-10am so you could at least sleep in a bit. Also the bath tub was a bit stained but nothing too bad.

This hotel is very convenient and the beach is just a min away. Many restaurants, shops, bars around as well. The worst thing is the shower was too weak in the hotel room and I did not dare to wash my long hair after swimming. The water just like dripping and no toothbrush would be provided.

Bra beliggenhet ved stranden for vårt 4 dagers opphold i Patong. Litt under middels mht renhold og standard - bærer preg av manglende vedlikehold. Pluss for svært bra restaurant

入住时房间外的空调噪音很大，和酒店协商换了个房间，开始说客满，但我说有小孩就給换了；房间较小，透气性差，空调直吹床头有些冷啊；不过，服务不错，一般要求都会满足，而且离海滩、酒吧饭馆等非常近，买东西也方便；楼顶的泳池我们去时没人玩，虽然很小但我的小孩很喜欢；个人认为，这家酒店很适合两个成人在芭东的住宿选择（带小孩要斟酌），周围到处是繁华的街道，把这里当成个睡觉的地方就好。

bestillt rom til 3...men kunn 2 senger. tilbud om ekstraseng til 900 bat døgnet. trodde og tror jeg betalte for rom for 3????? og det har jeg bilder og hotell stemmer ikke helt. gamle bilder,men var da mye hygglig personalet. dro opp oplevelsen. men tilbake nei

расположение ателя не далеко от торговых точек рынка и торгового центра в близи улица бангла роуд,поэтому в номерах шумно,отель одной из своей сторон стоит в плотную к другому отелю поэтому в окна на этой стороне даже днем не попадает дневной свет в номер,а на рекламных роликах на окнах закрыты шторы.кондиционер работает в номере очень шумно,старая мебель,требуеться косметический ремонт в номерах.

Läget är bra och nära centrum och strand. Personalen var trevlig men hotellet i sig håller inte kvalitteten som 3 stjärnit och är inte värt pengarna. Finns betydligt bättre hotell för samma pengar och läge

Super a part les chambres sans fenetres, mais c'est un detail.
