Casa Del M Hostel - קאטו

Well our hotel was good and the receptionist Pat was way to good to upgrade our room to honeymoon suit. The was very courteous and the person at tour desk went an extra step to guid us to what all places to visit in Phuket area. I am pleased with hotel and if I come again to Phuket I would certainly like to stay in this hotel. The only problem is that distance to sea is almost 1.5 miles and to main Patong area is 2.5 miles.

the hotel was nice and staff are very accommodating. the room was big and tidy. if it was not the location, i would recommend this place to everybody. they have a shuttle to bring you to the beach for free but for a certain time only. it's just the price riding back and forth to the hotel especially at nighttime is like paying an extra dollar to a hotel nearby the beach.

The hotel is lovely, the only downside is that the hotel is far from the beach and other important places. You have to rent a bike if you want to stay here. Otherwise everything else is perfect.

The shortcoming is that the hotel is a bit far away from the Patong downtown area. You need a taxi or tuk tuk to get down there which cost 200 baht each way. The pool access room is great. Your balcony is directly linked to the pool which is fantastic.

We reached the hotel after a tiring journey by 12.30pm (local time) & inspite of pre-booking the room, the room was not ready. We were made to wait till 2 hrs before they handed us the room key. We were given a room at the lower ground floor in some corner of the hotel.We had booked the superior room & the room featured a double bed, a minibar and a small balcony which overseas the pool side area.The bathroom & bathing area was somewhat not convincing and old fashioned floors. The toiletries provided were also bellow average. Our bathroom had no handwash, nor soaps or baththing accessories. It was when we asked the room service, we were provided the details. Same goes for the bathrobes. The bathroom door was made out of plastic and the knob was left out hanging inspite of it being a honeymoon suite. We informed the staff a couple of times about the door knob but they failed to comply.The hotel also features a tour information service desk which can be used to book your local tours.The staff rarely understands english. Be ready to really break it down to the last word to them. The location of hotel is a bit far from main market area and the beach. Taxis loosens your pocket for 200 bath one way. On the way back usually taxis ask a 100 baht more to climb up the hill where the hotel is located. Food is really average. Only one option if you are a vegetarian. Also do not hire a bike unless you know to ride on hilly area's. I witnessed 2-3 accidents.

The hotel staffs were very kind, however, the description of the hotel didn't meet the room type. We had to ask for an upgrade and we got it, however, the staffs had lots of trouble because the hotel was almost fully booked.

Very nice rooms, excellent views, although the location is a bit from the beach (10-15 minute interesting walk), which really isn't that big of a deal as there is a shuttle on offer. The balcony restaurant provided ror an excellent meal with superb service. Casa del M is definitely worth a stay.

Located in the hills with slight sea views if you're lucky. The walk to the beach is around 15-20 mins unless you walk at commuter speed, which of course you don't on holiday. They do run a shuttle service but timings are restricted. Hotel was clean and tidy though, with friendly staff. They offer a pick up service from the airport which you pay for if you get a good deal on the room, or if you've spent big they'll probably do it for free. It's worth it in either case for the ease of transition. Had a massage which really was superb, and cost about a fiver.

Really nice friendly, clean and very cheap hotel. Is a little out of the way. But you can walk to the beach in 10 or 15 mins. Cant really fault this hotel.

I have stayed in many hostels in Thailand and booked this stay as the price was marginally more, it was well worth the money. I would recommend this hotel to most people who are looking for a cheap alternative. It was very clean and staff were friendly. The location is not too bad. About 20 minute walk to the beach/centre.

It is a wonderful place to stay yet still close to all the maddening of Bangla road and Patong beach. Very easily going staff and amazing amenities. unet on the rooftop is stunning...

Booked this hotel in the morning and arrived at noon, they upgraded us to a room on the level with the pool and the room was available straight away even though check in wasn't until 2.00pm. The hotel is fairly new and modern and very open and airy. The open air restaurant on the 5th floor has fantastic views of Patong and makes for an enjoyable evening. The hotel is away from the action of Patong and is very quiet. If your looking for a nice hotel with good food then I would recommend this hotel.

Make sure u get full pool access rooms not the kids pool access thats what happened to me I booked pool access and it was a kids pool access room and too much noise as kids start playing early in the morning.

This is the perfect place to stay....................if you want the worst holiday ever!!! The only good thing about Casa Del M is the look of the reception. Everything else is awful!! What you see on the website is not a true representation of the hotel and should not be taken into account - do not be tempted to stay at this hotel. Need I say more????

we had two pool access rooms booked for 9 days but they were kids pool access not the main so be carefull when you book pool access beacuse they have 3 kids pool access rooms and we asked them to change our rooms and they said they all booked out but 5 of the rooms were empty till 2 days before our departure, i could only recommend this room if u have kids otherwise it'll be very very noisy, also hote provides a free shuttle to patong 4 or 5 times a day if u miss it u'll have to pay 200baht but there's a local taxi driver called monte lives around the corner he'll charge 150 baht and cheaper than hotel if you want to book a car for a day.Breakfast wasnt good as they always had pork not a good choice for muslim people, apart from that hotel was nice n clean,nice rooftop restaurant and view of patong,

Overall experience in this hotel is ok due to it's not very convenient location. Unless you are on a tight budget, this is the place for you. Service staff is not well-trained and I have to keep waiting while the staff called for help on my check-out! The resort is located in a deep end of the town and is about 30mins walk to/from Patong Beach. This is the most disadvantage to the location. Total number of steps we took from main road to the hotel lobby is more than 60 steps! I am however impressed with their value for money city tour at THB1000 for 5hrs! The driver we had is good and sharing lots of information with us.

We had taken the airport shuttle to get to the hotel...we were the first to be dropped off...but the minibus could not turn into the narrow road that leads up to the hotel, so we had to cross this insanely busy road (not red light or street crossings near-by) and walk about 0.3 miles up the hill to get to the hotel. Hotel only has limited one-way shuttle to Patong Beach. We decided to walk the 1 mile or so...but it was rather treacherous and dirty along the main roads. There are hardly any metered taxi...and the drivers tend to charge a lot for the short distance. On the way back to the hotel the first night, we were on the narrow road back to the hotel, a nice M Resort taxi driver stopped and gave us a free lift back up the hill. He offered to drive us to a morning cooking class...but when I called him at 8:30 in the morning, he wasn't up yet...we ended up going to the front desk to arrange taxi. This was when the driver who we booked the ride with (after speaking with our cooking class instructor on the phone) told another driver to drive us. I suspected that the new driver didn't know exactly where to go. I paid the 500 baht at the front desk and this other driver didn't really get the location right...so we had to call our cooking instructor for direction again. Then halfway there, he stopped on the side of the room and demanded that we pay him couple hundred baht more since we were going further than Phuket Town, what was written on my paid voucher. We explained that the other driver had spoke with our teacher and gave us the price. This driver became belligerent and very unpleasant. After we made him call the driver that booked our taxi at the M Resort on the cell phone, he finally agreed to drive us to our destination. Lesson learned: 1) if you book any activities, make sure it includes prearranged hotel transfer (our cooking class instructor later arranged for us to go to our next beach resort), 2) only go with driver that agreed to the location, time, an

eigentlich schönes Hotel, ich fand aber die Zimmer in dem älteren Gebäude nicht so schön, war sehr abgewohnt und dem Preis nicht entsprechend.

It's a nice place if you want to stay away from the crowd of patong but not so far from there if you want to get back to the crowd. They have a free shuttle service to junceylon mall patong and return to hotel. They have 2 swimming pools, one for hostel and one for resort on 2nd floor. I booked a superior room and i got just near the pool bar and swimming pool, but i recommend you to ask for the upper room because you'll get a balcony with a very nice scenery. The room is fairly clean but the bathroom aren't so clean. It is still have a 90's TV, so although it's a cable TV, the image quality is still not good enough. We also get a complete bathroom amenities, but both soap and shampoo are the same and referred as 'body lotion'. When i ask for shampoo, they give me 'body lotion', and so does when i ask for soap haha... Unfortunately i haven't try a dinner on their restaurant and bar on the rooftop yet. They said it's nice to have a dinner there. The resort and hostel building are different but still on same management, so if you book on hostel you still allowed to swim on their resort swimming pool. Overall, i recommend this place for you. It's nice, quite, and simple with a fair-moderate price.

新年出發去旅行, 機票及酒店十分之費. 基於budget 有限, 我地決定選擇Casa Del M hotel 廉價酒店. 因為地方十分近巴東海灘, 行路大約30分鐘左右到達海灘。酒店設有車去巴東海灘附近，只有由酒店出發那程, 回程車沒有。酒店位於山上, 要經過村屋小路才能到達酒店。房間有兩個景觀, 一邊內園景望泳池，另一邊望巴東海灘。我們十分之好彩, 被安排入住望巴東海灘的房間, 每晚可以出露台望著海灘休息。房間尚算整潔，不提供牙刷，一般沐浴用品都有提供。酒店內亦設有按摩商店，入住客人可穫折扣按摩可以一試。酒店整體滿意，只有一少少美中不足;我們到餐廳取坐位食早餐的時候，服務員態度不有善。之後發現自助餐食物中, 只用中文字寫明 "不要一次取得太多，被免浪費食品", 並沒有用英文或泰文提點。可能太多同袍到入住此酒店，令餐廳的服務員留下不好印像。

Frukosten - fylldes in på tillräckligt snabbt, man fick vänta. Personalen var trevlig, men språkkunskaperna varierade. Polen på den andra våningen kunde ha varit trevligare med tex med växter. Hotellområdet var lungt. Servicen i övrigt var bra, fritt vatten på rummen, nya badlakan att ta till poolen, taxiservice, fri körning till stranden varannan timme. Känslan på hotellet var inte en 4 istället 3+.

Huonevaraus kannattaa tähän hotelliin tehdä ehdottomasti sen uudemmalle puolelle. Uuden puolen huoneet siistit ja tilavat eikä ympäristön äänet häirinneet unia. Vanhan puolen huoneet ovat pieniä ja kuluneita. Henkilökunta hotellissa puhui huonosti englantia ja asioiden selvittäminen oli välillä työlästä. Aamiainen oli mielestäni huono. Tarjottavaa oli niukasti ja munajono pitkä ja hidas. Ravintola hotellin ylimmässä kerroksessa viihtyisä josta avautui upea näköala kaupungille ja merille. Hotellin sijainti hieman syrjässä ja lavataksista sai maksaa 300 bath /suunta. Hotellin puolesta parin tunnin välein kuljetus rannalle tai ostoskeskukseen.

Hotellin vanhanpuolen huoneet olivat pienet ja kuluneet. Uuden puolen huoneet oilivat ihan toista luokkaa. Aivain kuin olisi asunut ihan eri hotellissa. Hotellin aamiainen oli todella surkea!!! Henkilökunnan palvelualttius ei aina ollut ajan tasalla. Hotelli hieman syrjässä, muuten sijainti hyvä.

Discreto hotel vicino al centro di patong

酒店在半山腰，走上去很累。去巴东和SHOPPING MAIL有酒店车接送。有免费WIFI.房间有阳台，正对游泳池。离闹区有点远。

Jag är otroligt besviken på detta hotell. Det är jättefint och rummet var stort och modernt! Men vi fick för det första fel rum, 1 timme sent dessutom. Servicen var fruktansvärt. För detta fick vi bara en "complimentary dinner" då vi fick välja mellan 2 olika thairätter. Vi begärde efter några dagar mellanskillnaden för rummen tillbaka då det rum vi bokade kostade mer än det vi fick. Personalen ville inte ge oss pengar utan tyckte att middagen skulle räcka för detta. Efter mycket om och men fick vi tillbaka lite pengar. Eftersom hotellet är så pass fint och lyxigt förväntade vi oss god och fräsch mat, men icke.. Färdigköpta hamburgare och felbeställningar. Inte nog med det så fungerade inte wifi och förklaringen från receptionen var att "det kan vara så ibland". Att göra sig förstådd framför personlsen var också lite svårt då deras engelska inte var så bra. Sammanfattningsvis är hotellet mycket fint men lite långt ifrån centrum, ett plus var att de har shuttle (gratis). Men vi är mycket besvikna och kommer nog inte besöka Casa del M någon mer gång.

Jeg syntes at værelser og senge slet ikke levede op til de 4 stjerner hotellet er angivet til. Og servicen på hotellet kan der slet ikke skrives hjem om.

La situation n'est pas au top mais des navettes sont organisées. En revanche, nous avons été très déçus de la qualité de la chambre, ne correspondant pas du tout aux photos du site (chambres témoins du bâtiment rénové). C'est une déception. Une autre fut le petit déjeuner. La promotion (-50%) a fait passé la note.

Hôtel sympathique

vi boede i den gamle afdeling , meget slidt , max 2 stjerner , især efter Thailandske forholrd . Meget dårlig placering , kan faktisk ikke gå nogle st eder hen . Utrolig dårlig morgenmad . 2 dejlige pool og det bedste en lækker restaurant på 5 etage .

酒店的设施有点老，但床还是蛮舒服的，拉开阳台的玻璃门，就可以进到泳池，感觉不错！空调蛮给力的。但没有拖鞋和牙刷，要自带哦。酒店在山坡上，很不好找，附近的交通也不是很方便。总体性价比还行。

Rauhallinen hotelli lähellä Patong beachia. Suosittelen lämpimästi. Lapsiperheille varmaan hankala kulkemisen kannalta koska kävellen on jokseenkin hankala päästä kylille. Taksi tosin kulkee hotellinkin puolesta muutaman kerran päivässä ostoskeskukseen ja rannalle. Henkilökunta todella ystävällistä ja huoneet siistit. Oli oikein onnistunut loma.

Hotelli on kyllä kaunis ja viihtyisä, mutta turhan kaukana kaikesta. Hotelli tarjoaa kyydin rannalle, muttei takaisin, ja välillä kyytien aikataulujen kanssa oli ongelmia. Eli jos sinulla on aikataulu, harkitse muuta kyytiä. Hotellilla kävi myös pieni kömmähdys suhteemme, koska joku oli ottanut toisen huoneen meidän huoneemme numeroa vastaan. Hotellin henkilökunta vaati meitä maksamaan tämän huoneen, mutta emme tietenkään sitä tehneet, koska meillä ei tuon asian kanssa ollut mitään tekemistä. Asia jäi lopultakin epäselväksi kielimuurin takia, ja he lupautuivat kustantamaan huoneen. Vaikka alue onkin hieman epämääräisen oloinen, koimme sen rauhalliseksi. Kävelimme useina iltoina myöhäänkin rannalta hotellille, eikä kukaan kertaakaan häirinnyt meitä millään ikävällä tavalla.

Hotellet lå i utkanten av alt en turist kunne tenke seg, så taxiservice må tas i bruk (Tuktuk, motorbike eller hotelltaxi) Vedlikeholdet på det eldste bygget kunne vært bedre, når det da var enkelte ting som kunne vært gjort for at ting skulle se bedre ut. Men alt i alt, kjempe bra hotell. Hyggelige å smilende ansatte.

Hotellet var bra generelt over det hele! Noen minus er at det er en dårlig plassering, og frokosten er litt i dyreste laget. Utover dette så var det ett veldig bra opphold. Første gangen i mitt liv hvor jeg har fått 5 thaier opp på rommet for å montere en dobbelseng når jeg forespurte bare en ekstra seng. Hehe

酒店很新，设施完善，早餐丰富，room service价格也不贵，在旅游的旺季，这个性价比不错。但是位置有些偏远，到海滩只能用酒店的shuttle bus或者tuktuk才行。总体而言，还是很舒适的酒店。
