Boxcar Willie Inn - ברנסון

The staff was very friendly. Our children enjoyed the indoor pool that stays open until 11:00.

We are not picky people, we don't require much of a room because we didn't plan on spending much time there, too much to see/do around Branson! The only thing we liked about this hotel was it had a nice, big, heated indoor pool. The first room we got had signs of being cleaned, but someone was obviously occupying/living in this room unbeknownst to the front desk. I pulled back the sheets to check before I complained and the beds were GROSS! We would have left had we not already paid thru this website. SO we went back to the front and had our room changed. That one was clean (or seemed to be!) and was "ok". We would not stay here again. The beds were very uncomfortable and the hotel looks like it's just off the main strip but it's in kind of a weird place that's easy to get turned around in (and we are very familar with Branson, almost locals we are there so much.) I can honestly say that is the worst place I've ever stayed in and we've stayed in some low budget hotels in our travels. I can deal with old.. I can't deal with dirty.

We had a great time--we didn't use a lot of the ammenities (pool, breakfast, etc.) but the staff was very friendly on check in, the room was a nice size and was clean, and we were very comfortable. Excellent for the price! It is a little difficult to find (at least using our GPS) because it sits quite a bit back off the main road, but after we found it we liked being a bit out of the way.

We really enjoyed our stay! The room was clean and the people were very friendly. The breakfast was hot and wonderful! The pool area was clean, the hot tub was just right, and the sauna was bliss!

Wonderful place to stay. We will definitely visit again!

Good place to stay..great price, clean rooms...we stayed night before opening day silver dollar city...

Friendly staff. Stayed on New Years Eve and some fellow guests were partying all night long keeping us awake. Not really the hotels fault.

The stay would have been perfect if it wasnt for the kids that were running all night on the floor above us, because of this we had less than 2 hours sleep. Notes are posted in the room " to please not disturb the manager after 11 pm". The next morning we found out that other guests had called the Branson police and they came out to take care of the situation, the night had already been ruined for us though. The following morning the manager on duty said nothing like that had ever happened and please give them another chance.

Clean room. Comfy bed. Nice People. Breakfast is good not great and not bad just ok. Stayed here twice would stay again. I love the price.

Desk personnel very helpful. Sauna controls were broken. Nice indoor pool area.

It was quiet and clean

The hotel was fairly clean but looks like it could use some updates. We couldn't complain too much as the price was very good and breakfast was included. There was something on the bedskirt and on the floor beside it, I left a note for the maid but it wasn't changed. There was some mold on the wall of the bathroom also. We were only in it for sleeping really, so it was quite satisfactory for that.

Had a ground floor level room. Close to office and swimming pool. Very nice breakfast and nice people too.

The stay was good other than my stool and sink was clogged up. I go to the hotel and drop my things off in the rooms and left cause we only came down for the night. so i used nothing in the room until we returned later that evening around 11:00pm or so. I called the 405 number best the front desk was closed. I was calling because the sink and stool was clogged. The guy that answered the phone came to my room with in 10 - 15 min which was great. The bad thing was he handed me the plunger and left. Thank God i'm a Plumber so i wasn't a bad task for me. But, i that the normal thing to do with visitor to have them plunger out stools and sinks? I was offered any money back or nothing. Then the hot breakfast was everything but that. Maybe someone needs to look into the breakfast microwave eggs, canned gravy and fruit and water orange juice. It was really a continental breakfast other than he served you and griddel the sausage.

Over all I was concerned when w first arrived. However it turned out to be a gem in the rough. The location is not far everything. 10 minutes from silver dollar city and 1 minute from the strip. In door pool and spa made it nice to be able to go back late and swim. I'm going back next year!

again, it was a lower graded hotel from the past decade. rooms have been partially upgraded based upon need. still needs lots of improvement . but he cost was good. you get what you pay for

It was very enjoyable; we have one of Boxcar Willie's CD's and love the songs on it. When we saw Boxcar Willie Inn on the list, we knew we just had to stay there. Even the curtains had the name of the hotel on them. We were impressed. And the guy fixing breakfast in the mornings were special too. Loved it and will definitely recommend it to our friends.

For a motel, this inn was more than acceptable. The room was very clean, although a bit of maintenance was needed in the room (i.e., toilet seat wobbly, parts from sink basin need replacing). The complimentary breakfast was adequate, although we skipped it on our second day in favor of something more flavorful. Each staff member we encountered was pleasant and efficient. For the price, it was a good choice.

The first thing we wanted to do was hit the hot tub, after our long drive. It was cold, and they said they didn't even know. Breakfast was typical of free breakfasts, we ate out. The second night the people above of us literally sounded like they were running races and jumping competitions. We gave them until midnight to calm down and called the desk, to get a recording that no one was home. 3 * hotel without night service, I don't think so. The price was right, but we won't be back.

Hotel looks very nice on the outside but the inside is kind've dark and rustic. Not very modern. The pool was nice but jets on hot tub didn't work. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast left alot to be desired. Young man working was not a good representation for the hotel. Kitchen area very run down looking. He had sausage and eggs pre cooked so just took them out of tupperware container. Made waffles to order, though which was good. Orange juice machine did not work. It was a decent hotel for the money but definately not upscale if that's what you're looking for.

We stayed for 2 nights with connecting rooms. The staff was very nice and helpful. The front desk girl from Ukraine was especially helpful and talked to my daughter and gave her directions as she was lost. She was very friendly, too. The pool was too cold, even for the kids and the hot tub didn't work very well. The guy who cooked breakfast kept going outside to smoke, not sure why we couldn't cook our own. Waffles were not done and tasted sour, left funny after taste in your mouth. There were 6 of us and nobody liked them.

Our refrig. froze up our food and the maid kept pushing carts along the balcony all night and I kept getting woke up , I thought we were having a earthquake . I tried to speak to the maid and she said no speak english . We left a day early and lost our money for the room . Also there was flys all over the food in the kitchen for breakfast .

Breakfast was terrible. Yes they have a cook but it's all prepackaged stuff. Nothing was fresh. Hotel cleaning crew LEFT OUR ROOM OPEN ALL DAY. We left that morning and came back to a door wide open. The room was so hot our sons medicine was ruined. Staff refused to make it right with us. Went back to room upset and tried to sleep. The ac in the unit was broke from trying to cool the outside all day. They let us switch rooms. New room was at least cool, smelled horrid and the mini fridge in the room would periodically make a loud high pitched grinding noise all night. The constant wake ups to my 3 year old made for a very early grumpy morning. The front desk clerk was the only bright spot in the day. She was very friendly and helpful. The rest of the stay here was bad and I'm willing to stay just about anywhere that is low priced. I siimply can't get over how "whatever" they seemed to be about their staff leaving our dooor open like that all day. Thankfully nothing was stolen but I give credit for that to the decent folks on our floor and not to the hotel in any way.

We have stayed at this Hotel Several Times. It is clean and has very comfortable beds. There are 4 pillows per bed which is a plus for us. Each room has a refrigerator in it. Plenty of towels in the room as well as shampoo & makeup removing towelettes. There is an indoor pool & hot tub. The breakfast is not amazing, but fine for a quick bite before you start your day. The Hotel is away from all the Busy Traffic which we really like. We have stayed at this Hotel on our last few trips to Branson and for the price we have been very pleased.

Room was clean, hotel staff courteous, maid service prompt. Room interior a bit tired and sported an old CRT TV. Parking on a pretty severe slope makes it a bit tough for physically challenged folks to use their cars, load/unload luggage, etc.

This is a nice hotel with a good location. Close to all attractions, but not right on the strip. It was quiet and we had a nice hillside view! Overall a decent hotel for the price.

We had such a wonderful time! The hotel is very clean and maintained. The pool is awesome!!! All of the employees were welcoming and treated us so great. They couldn't of done more to make our vacation perfect! Thank you and we will be back.

Nice hotel, would stay there again when in area.

This motel is just a hop skip n jump from the main strip. The hotel was nice and clean. I was there on a quick business trip and got to the hotel early (9:30 am) - I had an 11 am business meeting and the front desk clerk was nice enough to switch rooms for me (since the one I had originally booked was still occupied since check out isnt until 11). That act alone shows me that they are customer service oriented. Was the room perfect? No - but it was clean and comfortable. I think we would all like a new flat screen TV and a jacuzzi tub in our rooms - but a lot of us penny pinchers can't afford those luxeries. If we could, we wouldnt be staying at the "less flashy" hotels. Only problem I had was that the hair dryer was very noisy and you could smell that it was overheating and on its last legs. I did notify the front desk and the gentleman did make a note of it. It was clean, the staff was nice, they gave us a free HOT breakfast and it was a nice 2 day stay. If you are hanging in downtown Branson for shows, it's a great place to stay. If you want to spend your time at the lake or at silver dollar city, stay somewhere on Indian Point! 8-) A thumbs up from this traveler, for this specific trip the locatation and hotel was just the ticket!

My sister and I went to Branson for the weekend to play. We wanted somewhere that was not to expensive. This hotel was pretty decent for the price. The rooms were comfortable for the price, the tv had cable, you got a REF in your room. Breakfast was cereal, english muffins, fresh waffles, sausage patties and eggs(the eggs were preshaped eggs). So I guess you could say it was decent, but I would suggest them to get fresh eggs and maybe some fresh fruit. The Pool was a little chilly, but large and not to many people there. They also had a hot tub and a sauna which was nice. Overall the quality of people was very good.

enjoyable weekend stay wanted a place a little off the main drag, but close enough to drive with little effort.

It's not right on the main strip, I thought it would be a bit closer, but I enjoyed it. It was pretty quiet, minus the small dog a few rooms down that barked throughout the night. The pool is just enough to get wet in, but mainly for children (3-1/2 ft. to 4-1/2 ft. deep) They have a 4-6 man hot tub which felt nice after walking around Silver Dollar City all day. They also have a small sauna (1-2 people). The complimentary breakfast while not the best I've ever had, wasn't the worst I've had either. It was adequate. It was the first time I've ever been served by an employee for a complimentary breakfast, but it's one way to keep waste/cost down. Not a lot of room to manuever where it was served & not enough seating really. The water pressure wasn't great in the shower, but what hotel usually has great water pressure? I would stay again, though I might request to be placed in a room no where near guests with pets. (No I didn't complain to the front desk, I could have, but to heck with it, I was there for family vacation & enjoying myself I wasn't going to let a little yipper quash my family fun time) I loved the fact that we didn't have room cards, it was real keys. This is something I liked, been a while since I've stayed at a hotel with real keys. All in All - a good stay, the rooms were clean, the neighborhood is quiet, not a lot of traffic, pretty nice view of the surrounding trees from the backside of the hotel, adequate free breakfast & fairly relaxing. I didn't speak to hotel staff, so no clue what they are like.

Our stay was wonderful. There were very few hotel guest because of the time we went. Mary was very helpful and provided anything we needed. We would stay here again.

We stayed through the Christmas holiday. It was wounderful, we got the Zypher King, with a fireplace in our room! The staff and the hotel were great. kind and very curtious. We got the 3rd floor all to ourselves until the last day; the view of the mountains and the city in the valley were breathtaking. There is actually a cook the prepares breakfast for you; and there's a large selection of food items. Price was great! Will be comming back during the summer months to do some bike riding, beautiful, hilly roads to ride!
