Not going to lie, you really can hear everything going on outside. It's a very noisy place. As we tried to sleep you could hear car doors slamming as if they were right outside the room and people walking above us. You could hear people outside more so then the people in the surrounding rooms but it still made for an uneasy stay. The noises just makes you feel unsafe. On the other hand the staff were very knowledgable and friendly. A great team of staff working there.

i stayed here quite a few times because of the price, but everytime the service was subpar at best. this time took the cake. i was in my room for a night then the chain on the toilet broke so we couldnt flush the toilet, the tub had a leak, and one of the burners didnt work. there was no plate in the microwave. after speaking to the front desk we were able to move, we checked out of the room but had to wait until a room was cleaned to switch. while waiting one of the workers bust into the room w/o knocking because his paper said the room was vacant. when our room was cleaned we went to it and it was dirty. they sent us to the wrong room. after settling into the new clean room the same worker knocked on the door then came in before i could open it because his paper said this room was vacant. all the girl at the front desk could do was smile like this was funny to her. well they wont get anymore of my money and neither will extended stay. another location we went to had poor front desk customer service.

Got Lost in Ft. Lauderdale..checked into a different hotel, which was very uncomfortable and in a bad sections of town. Got re-booked into Extended Stay of America. SO HAPPY More than I expected. Service was wonderful and friendly...clean met all my needs ..and then some. Thank you.

Just want a clean room with good shower, refrigerator and microwave. This place has it. A/C is nice and cold. Need another blanket available in room. The microwave is adequate, but small. Would like to see a larger one.

For the most part the room was an acceptable place to sleep after a night of sight seeing and partying. There are a few rather off-putting things that I encountered, though. First off, there seemed to always be quite a bit of noise coming from surrounding rooms as well as outside of the room (the walls are rather thin, so you hear just about every whining child, etc.). Secondly, (and I'm not quite sure why this is), 6 out of my 9 nights at the hotel the police were parked out front responding to a call, taking reports from guests, etc, which doesn't really make you feel all that safe. Lastly, on the morning I woke up to check out, I was greeted by a roach in my bed, which seriously drops the rating of the room's cleanliness. Sure there are some good things about the hotel, but these three negatives were enough to warrant not booking a room at this hotel again.

Room was very run down- carpet was nasty - toilet seat had chunks missing from it- bathroom sink had tiny hairs left on it and a dirty sock was still under the stained dirty chair in the room. Will pay the extra $$$ next time for a sanitary comfortable room!

When I arrived the front desk girl did not assist me kindly. The room conditions are bad, specially the bathroom. The room has not closet and the parking lot is very small. Breakfast is "missing" because there is not a dinnig room as well. They just put some coffe and muffins inside the front desk room and I tried to get coffe but there wasn't anymore. I will never go again to that hotel.

The neighborhood was scary! The only good thing was the people were nice enough!

This was booked for me by my office manager and usually we have had good luck using Hotels.com based on the ratings and reviews. This hotel was not in the most desirable part of town. I was even uncomfortable leaving my car there overnight.....thankfully there was a patrol car that I parked next to, in hopes this would ensure some safety. The hotel had no ice machines and only offered plastic cups in the rooms. Additionally, I was concerned with the amount of "professionals" (to keep it clean) that seemed to be lining the road and even the entrance area of the hotel. I definitely would not recommend this particular location.

Not a bad hotel, room was supplied with good ktichen, bed very comfortable. only big downside is that the hotel was a bit far from main tourist attractions.In most comments it stated that it was very loud, i did not have this experience, no problems with sound or loud noises other than the neighbor.

Hotel too near to highway. I bit noisy at times, specifically at nights.

My stay was horrible. The room was not clean and it smelled of smoke. My bed was not comfortable and it was very noisy from the other occupants. I was very displeased.

Not very nice. I asked for a non-smoking room, when I went to check in at 3 they told me the room wasn't available and the cleaning staff were all at lunch and to come back later. When I came back the room was available but when I went to the room it reeked of cigarette smoke. The walls are thin and the people staying next to me screamed at each other all night.

Businesspeople did need new towels.

The quality of the hotel is what I have come to expect from Extended Stay, I have used the Chain frequently in different cities and some are slightly better than others. The thing I was not too comfortable with about this location was the surrounding neighborhood, it made me a bit nervous to leave my car in the parking area, but overall the hotel was good.

It's an ok place to stay if you don't want to spend lots of $, you want to cook & you don't mind the train or hwy traffic noises. Rooms are good for the price, office staff nice & you save a few bucks w/ free grab & go breakfast.

this should get a 1 star rating untill they up grade

Hotel is in a less-than-desirable neighborhood...would definitely not stay there again.

It was convenient for the reason we were staying. The staff was so helpful, they were overbooked, but let me check in early, and when the air conditioner in the room wasn't working, they allowed me to change rooms. The condition of the room was somewhat run down, and it was loud, however I knew that going in, so I can't complain about that. Overall, great deal for what we paid, close to the interstate and other attractions, only about 10 mins from the beach, and close to the airport.

We were very impressed. Room was clean and comfortable. Only complaint, my husband left phone charger in room and it was not turned in to the office. Would still stay there again.

I like the hotel it was too close to the H. Way I could hear cars , I was not happy about that . The Breakfast was a joke and I was not happy.

I stay at this hotel often. By often I mean at least 4 days a month. This is an extended stay so you will get neighbors that do contract work such as programmers, construction workers, truck drivera, and such. So expect some rough although generally good characters. This is Ft. Lauderdale so you may see in the surrounding areas a bit of trash people. So lock your door, park your car in the well lit parking, and take your valuables with you at all time. This is true of all of Ft. Lauderdale so its not a mark against this hotel. Generally speaking good hotel for single long term travelers or short term family trips. Oh my last stay I did find one issue. The rooms all have kitchens and kitchenware for your use. I decided to stay in this time instead of eating at the nearby restaurants. The plates provided in the kitchen cabinet all had hair on them (yuck). I can't even imagine how that happened being in a cabinet. Anyhow the 7/11 across the street had paper plates.

Hotel too close to the highway. If you are not a heavy sleeper and you plan on sleeping while at this hotel don't book it. We requested one room and got another. Other than that this hotel is nice

The Front Desk staff (Sophia ) was very pleasant and welcoming. Unfortunately the location although perfect for commuting via tri rail was not ideal. Would not leave my hotel at night. The overpass and dead end street were.less than desirable but for the cost of a last minute need was what kept me there. I would not.bb pick that as a hotel for vacationing

The hotel itself was ok for the money. The only bad thing about the hotel itself is the squeaky bed and the bad wifi. The guest at the hotel were loud and running around all hours of the day and night.

The property is easy to get to from I-95, and the rate was fair for the type of property and this time of year. The property is in pretty good shape, the room was clean and comfortable and everything worked- especially the A/C! I'd like to see a better mix of channels on the TV (less ESPN, wider cable channel selection), but that's not a deciding factor for my travel dollar. The front desk personnel were pleasant and helpful.

The front desk staff were very professional they always make me feel welcome. Way to go guys!!!
