Great property, friendly staff, clean rooms, delicious breakfast and cookies every afternoon. What more can you say!

Staff was great - super location.

Very please by this hotel that we had never used before. Selected by price and previous ratings. Lobby-pool-breakfast areas well arranged and decorated for Christmas.

I was impressed with the check in process, very friendly and efficient. The lobby was beautiful and the room was fine. The manager's reception was not utilized, and the comp breakfast was only partially utilized because of my dietary restrictions, but it looked like everyone enjoyed it! There are other restaurants near by and the lake resort is just down the road a bit. The price for this property was good, and with a new hotel being built next door, may even get a bit lower with more competition. Dodger the dog was a treat! I would recommend this hotel.

Wonderful stay here at the Express, loved your shower head, and your breakfast was just perfect. And the complimentary drink and meal was a great idea.......thanks so much.

Everything was great

Exceeded our expectectations! Clean, Excellent service, great location, and lots of extras - like evening beer/wine, hamburgers/hot dogs, cookies/milk, in addition to breakfast! Also a very well behaved resident dog named Dodger!

I got a room at your hotel for my daughter and son-in-law on their honeymoon and you upgraded them to a honeymoon suite, where they discovered that you had beautiful rose petals strewn about the room and on the bed, and there were choc kisses and a bottle of wine, AND a welcome/congtratulations card to greet them!! They were highly impressed and felt cared for and pampered!! Thank you so much for treating them so special for their short stay!! What a delight to hear the happiness in their voices when they called to let us know!! =)

I would add this hotel to your list of things to do in coer d'alene. Complimentary breafast dinner and drinks. Friendiness and service 200%. When a customer on the table next to me hinted to the server he fancied an oatmeal raisin cookie, the server went and baked some for everyone!! When I forgot my phone charger they hotel provided one for me. Will stay here again for sure.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights with our two children ages 3 & 6. The free breakfast was a great way to start the day and made the morning much easier to manage (if you have little ones than you know what I mean by this). The staff was very friendly and helpful. On our 3rd night there our daughter came down with a stomach bug and we ended up having to strip the entire bed. The hotel staff was very understanding and accommodating and quick to help with removal of the linens and assistance with remaking the bed. We were also able to wash her clothes on site. Location wise we loved the fact that we were within walking distance of a Starbucks, a theater and several restaurants. The hotel is also just a short drive to downtown where we went just about everyday to play at the Fort Sherman play structure. A must if you have children who like play grounds. It's a bit of a drive to Silverwood (25 minutes or so) and there is another Holiday Inn located closer to Silverwood but the location of this hotel to downtown and the other places I mentioned earlier make it worth the extra time in the car. Honestly the only thing that was a tiny bit disappointing was the fact that the outside balcony could have used a broom to sweep off left over tabacco from a previous guest. Considering that's it I would still highly recommend this hotel.

Staff went out of their way to ensure we were having a great stay and Dodger was a highlight too! Would recommend this hotel for it's staff, cleanliness and all the extras that come with being a guest here. Great value and service.

Overall it is a satisfactory budget hotel. Has a noisy in room air conditioner. Only major drawback is the low quality breakfast. I don't know how they find food that bad.

It was right off the freeway and one turn to downtown. Employees were extremely friendly, including the dog dodger who is the greeter for the Hotel. Rooms were very clean and neat. Breakfast area very nice with pool and hot tub through the window. will stay here again in August with family.

This hotel was great. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was really clean & comfortable. They have a average continental breakfast-waffles, bacon, cereal etc. Not bad for a free breakfast. They also have a hotel dog & he was the best trained dog I have ever seen. very sweet & good with kids. Would highly reccomend this hotel to anyone staying in or near Coeur d'Alene.

This is a beautiful hotel, it felt as if we were at a B&B or Inn. The staff and owner are wonderful people, and we felt so welcome there. The place is very clean and our rooms were so comfortable. In the evenings the temps were -8 or -10, and the whole hotel, was at a nice tempature, didn't even have to turn on the room heater. The morning breakfast was very good. Plus they mention that they offer a couple nights a dinner, for their guests. Wow! We travel for work, but this was a pleasure trip, and this Holiday Inn Express was a pleasure to be at!
