Moffett House Inn - Provincetown

We love Todd! :o)

The room was adequate with exactly what was needed. There were DVDs and cable available as well. In the summer this would be an ideal place to stay since it is right in town but off an alley so it would be quieter. There was coffee in the morning and no breakfast since it was winter. A few restaurants were open and there was much peace and quiet. Nice time of year for those of us that need it!Although room was clean, the carpet was full of beach sand - just a small note because the rest of the room was very clean. As well, James was lovely with his help!

I loved the Moffett House. I've been going to Ptown for YEARS, and you'd never know that it was there. So central, yet so removed and quiet.

This was a last minute find for us and we were very pleased. It should be noted that this is a guest house, not a hotel, so you can expect to share a (clean and close-to-room) bathroom, but rooms are private and comfortable with sink, TV, and mini fridge. The location is absolutely central, too.

Friendly hotel-manager, room was very small, also hotel itself, I hardly couldn't find it. Prize too high for a room without private bathroom. Complimentary bike for the whole stay, which was appreciated. You don't have to be gay to stay at this house, but it helps. Traveling as a single woman, I felt somehow strange in this hotel (and in town).

This beautiful old New England home is right in the center of town and close to all the action in Provincetown. Yet, you'll feel tucked away in a quiet corner when you want to rest up for more fun. Clean, pretty, convenient... The hosts were WONDERFUL!! I will definitely be back. Thanks guys!

I was pleasantly surprised by this little gem of a guest house. Within minutes of booking through this site I was called by the owner Russ to welcome me and offer directions to the place (it is tucked away down a laneway just behind the main street making it quiet but more than close enough to the action). Upon my arrival I was welcomed by the Assistant Innkeeper Todd who I found in the kitchen baking. Moffett House is the friendliest and most relaxed and welcoming of places I have ever stayed in. They even supplied free bikes to the guests to explore the town. I used the opportunity to ride out to Beech Forest, where the beach and sand dunes meet the forest. I highly recommend this place and would have stayed longer than the two nights. I hope to get back there one day soon.

The owner and manager were both very friendly and accommodating. Great location, parking, and quiet.

We had a fine little room. But I think this place was more like a bed and breakfast. It was small overall but we had everything we needed. Nice little extras around for ones convenience. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. This place was a bit tricky to find ,fortunately Todd had called me at the exact time we were circling around looking and guided us in. The location was perfect! Close to everything we wanted to see,parked the car once and walked all over.

We had a great time! Russ and Todd were the most amazing hosts ever! I can't wait to go back and see them, they truly made this trip to P-Town very memorable. Go stay with them! Trust me!!!!!

Location is great, in the center of the town, close to everything. Owners are nice, caring, and considerate. Definitely will stay here again. Highly recommended.

Located in a small alley between a shop and a restaurant. Very lovely surrounding and great staff.They want you to feel at home.

The staff was very friendly and the location was perfect. We were able to walk to everything. It is almost off season but stores and restaurants were open so we had a great time. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel is very centrally located yet very quiet. Our room had a shared bath which explains the cheap price. The owners are very kind and accomodating, they made sure our stay would be perfect. The room was very very tiny, however.

The hosts, Mark and Luciano get an 11 on a scale from one to ten.... They are the best. The mattress was very comfortable and the location is the best!!!!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Moffett House. We took the ferry and walked over, (with luggage -- we came from the west coast so we had large pieces too), so we had no need to rent a car. It's within walking distance of everything. The staff made us feel like family. We have been to Provincetown many times and this was by far our best trip and it was definitely due to the accommodations. The location, use of bikes, friendliness of staff & owner can't be beat!

We had a great time and will be returning. Russ, One of the owners was a great help with all of our questions like; places to go and what to see.

Based on the price, it exceeded our expectations. Seconds from the heart of downtown, yet very secluded, private and comfortable. Our hosts were extremely hospitable and accomodating. Free bikes were a bonus. We look forward to returning!

This place was definitely a great value. No bathroom in room but there was a sink with a mirror so bathroom was usually empty. Bed was extremely comfortable and room was cozy. Super great location on Commercial street right in the thick of things but off the street so not too noisy. Extra bonus is that bikes are available to everyone. We took bikes out one day for a really great ride and beach adventure. I'll stay here again next time I'm in town.

Very attentive and friendly service from reservation to check-out. Used the complimentary bikes for a jaunt around the P-Town dunes. Location can't be beat and the value for the price is wonderful. Would highly recommend - only reason would not is would not want it to be full next time we plan to visit.

Nice and cozy

First, I have to stay that it was quite a decent place to spend the night in - nothing was horribly wrong and other people may have different experiences. That said, the experience was strange. It was kind of like crashing at the house of someone you barely know and who's not even there. After I booked the room, I got a call from the owner asking when I was planning to arrive. The owner then told me the room number and where to find the key. He also offered me a parking space for extra charge, which I declined. I was able to find a street parking spot a couple of blocks from the house, but I suspect it's harder during vacation season. I arrived, found the keys, spent the night and left, all without seeing anyone working there. I met a few of other residents, who were very nice and told me where to find the internet password, the dishes in the kitchen, etc. The room itself was quite clean, although not very comfortable. The furniture was old, and the refrigerator was really loud. It really felt more like a guest bedroom in a house of college students than a hotel. In the end, this B&B was not a bad place to spend a night in, but it did not measure up to other hotels I stayed in on the trip for similar prices.

The bigfest advantage for this place is the location! A few steps and you are in the middle of everything! The room was not very big but it was perfect for our needs (we could even get a 3 person room which was exactly what we needed). Cozy and clean without luxury. Friendly host who called us in advance with detailed directions to make sure we were able to find it.

I loved this place! What a great location. The room was clean, the guests friendly, and as I said above, Mark could not have been a better host. I would go back in a second!

Moffet House ligt ingebouwd tussen andere huisjes in het centrum van Provincetown. In de zomer waarschijnlijk zeer druk, in de herfst heel leuk. Maar de kamer met eigen badkamer was piepklein, het tweepersoonsbed was bedoeld voor hele kleine mensen en de vloer was helaas niet schoon. De badkamer wel trouwens. Maar erg klein allemaal. Buiten het hoogseizoen hebben ze leuke aanbiedingen. Je mag gratis van de fietsen gebruik maken.
