The Arctic Club Seattle - a DoubleTree by Hilton - סיאטל

Loved the old world feel of the place. Quality linens were appreciated..Staff was attentive and the bar in the lobby is a great place to have an after dinner cocktail.

Hotel staff was friendly and helpful

Really unique, smart, classy hotel. Loved staying there. Tons of history attached to the building. Not your average Doubletree...Fabulous

This was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at and we travel a lot. It has been very comfortably and stylishly remodeled. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The downstairs restaurant, Juno, was also excellent. We went to the Arctic Club Seattle by someone's recommendation, and we will certainly tell our friends about it.

Walking into the beautiful lobby after a long day was like a big exhale. The welcoming furnishings and decor enveloped me. That feeling continued into my room, a 2nd floor room with extreme high ceilings and beautiful moldings. It felt royal - yet not too precious. Probably the most comfortable hotel bed I have slept on, ever. I travel a lot for business and the little things mean a lot to me. I had stopped expecting anything from my hotels and just go for cheap rate/location, but finally in Seattle I have somewhere to call home away from home.

Overall the stay was great, room was a little small though and we could hear our next door neighbors conversations

Everything was right, comfort quiet supplies to the room, all very good!

What a neat place and the location is perfect. The staff was pleasant and very helpful.

If you're into old historic premium hotels this place is great, if you're not it's kinda boring. For me at this price point I like lots of new amenities, bright rooms, and lots of new tech. This had Motel 6 sized TV, basic cable, and old furniture. I must be one of those people that miss the point of this hotel, but I freely admit that it is a nice hotel overall. It's just too classic and too dark for me.

The only complaint was having the valet park my car they lost my mail key and I had to deal with that parking company they out source to. The location is frustrating because that's all one way streets near the freeway .

Perfect place to stay if you intend to go for a Seahawks game. It makes it easy to walk over to the local sports bars in preparation for the game and then just walk over without having to worry about driving in or out. However both I and some friends in a different room found the fan for the air circulation to be very noisy at night and I don't think even earplugs would be able to block that level of noise! The hotel itself is beautiful and the room is well furnished. One thing to know about the neighborhood is that most stores and restaurants are closed on Sunday so you have to walk quite a ways to find a variety of restaurants or do any shopping,

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. Normally we stay on 5th and Pike. The Arctics history is very interesting and the restoration is very well done. I loved the rooms decor and spacious feel. It was very clean and quiet. The common areas are also elegant and very clean. The only downside us the location. On a weekend the closest open coffee shop was 8-10 blocks away and local Cafes were not open as they cater to business M-F. The train is on the same block which makes for a quick ride to Westlake if you don't want to walk.

This hotel is in a great location in the financial district about a block uphill from Pioneer Square and something like two blocks uphill and ~5 blocks south of Pike's Market. It is right on the light rail tunnel and main bus lines. The ferry terminal is a few blocks downhill. The only slight negative on the location is that the street population gets a little more sketchy being close to Pioneer Square; however, not bad enough to avoid the location. The room and staff were fantastic.

Great location. Lovely hotel. Attention to detail extraordinary. Parking a bit spendy. But, overall, we had a fabulous time and would have loved to stay longer.

I was very happy with the walking distance to the Stadium. We also easily walked to all the Seattle sites we wanted to. Very comfortable room, bed and fabulous pillows.

EXCELLENT

This was our third time staying at the Arctic Club. We love the personal attention, the decor, and the luxury of the rooms. However, during this stay, there was a false fire alarm that woke us from a deep sleep around midnight. We spent about 30-40 minutes evacuated from the hotel. While this was not the fault of the hotel or its employees, we felt that they should have offered us something like a drink voucher or a bottle of wine.

Awesome location. About a ten minute walk from the market place and thirty from the needle. Only stayed one night but I would definitely stay again

I would stay there again anytime.

The hotel is beautiful but the service was awful. I would not stay there again just because of the service.

next door neighbor had TV blasting until 2 a.m. I had to call front desk. They did respond but I was really tired the next day.

Front desk was no help at all when trying to get our luggage sent up to our room. After 2 phone calls over half an hour and assurances that our bags were "on their way up", we finally had to go down and retrieve them ourselves, with no apologies from the front desk staff. Having worked in the hotel industry, I was not impressed, especially considering it's a 4 star hotel! The air conditioning sounds were so loud, we barely got any sleep, like having a jet engine right next to our heads! While it's a lovely hotel (although a little pricey & far from shopping district) and the bell staff were very friendly and helpful, we found some of the front desk staff quite snooty and not guest oriented at all. I would not recommend this hotel based on this alone.

We arrived tired and disheveled after a long day cycling and traveling. The staff could not have been more helpful to make us feel refreshed and relaxed from taking our bags, to checking us in, to suggestions for restaurants. We've stayed in many hotels, some much more expensive, but the staff here rate the absolute best!!!!

The staff where very helpful and welcoming. The hotel was very quite at the loopy I didnt see many guests. The room was nice and very noisy, all the traffic on the street seems to inside your room.

one of the bedside lamps was not working. The decor and furnishings of the room were a little too contrived for my taste. The citron soap didn't have a pleasant fragrance. Also, I prefer the standard issue coffeemaker. Trying to figure out a new coffee making system first thing in the morning is not my idea of fun. But I loved the Juno restaurant for breakfast. 5 stars for that restaurant.

Great location and very friendly staff.....you can walk to most sites and you need a cab it's very cheap.....the hotel restaurant Juno was also excellent....try the dungeoness crab omlette!!!!!

Neat, historic hotel just a few steps off the light rail that we rode from the SeaTac airport. Convenient to the Pioneer Square neighborhood and just a few blocks from the water taxi to Alki Beach. We combined this hotel stay with another hotel by the Seattle Center so we were able to see many different neighborhoods during our visit within bus or walking distance. This hotel was definitely worth the stay for it's decor, history and customer service.

I love this building and the refurbishment they did about four years ago now on it. The rooms thermselves are of the period but don't lack for any modern conveniences. Only a few metres from the Pioneer Square light rail station, it's great value as well.

The folks at the Arctic Club greeted my wife and I with a warm cookie and were extremely helpful. The exterior is in keeping with the historic Pioneer Square area, but the interior was beautiful, harkening back to an exclusive mens' club of yesteryear.

Really neat hotel. Amazing 1920-30's decoration. Awesome. It's also in/around Seattle's Pioneer Square which gets a little seedy at night. And our room's air conditioner was broken and it leaked quite a bit of water into our bathroom.

We very much enjoyed staying at the Arctic Club. The frontdesk staff were tremendously courteous and helpful. They provided sound advice about all the questions we had about seeing Seattle. The location is very good--short walks to Pike Market, Safeco Field, etc. and a tube transit station about ten yards from the hotel. The room was a bit small for three people, as is often the case with older buildings, but the walrus door number and TARDIS blue room door really made up for that.

We didn't get to fully enjoy our stay like I wish we could have. We got stuck in traffic Friday afternoon went to a M's game and they would only give us till 11:30 late check out and to top it off, it cost $41.00 to park the car.

Great place to stay if attending event at Centurylink Field. Rooms are clean. Beds are very comfortable. Staff are very friendly. A bit pricy but worth it for the comfort and location. Parking is valet only, the garage is couple blocks away and expensive. Suggest parking next door at public parking for the day the move vehicle to park on street at night. Street parking is free after 8 pm and free on Sun. We only stayed one night so this worked well for us.

Walking distance to the fields and the bars and only slightly uphill to get back to the hotel. Good value.

Stayed at the Arctic Club for Easter weekend. Loved our corner room, very comfortable and clean, high ceilings. I've lived in downtown areas, so accustomed to street noise at night, but if not I would request a room on the upper floors. There was a wedding reception there that had loud music but couldn't hear a thing when in the room, only in the hall way. Never order room service, can't comment. Had a mini bar, priced at usual mini bar prices. Downtown clears out at night, so dont expect to be in the center of the action coming evening. But easy cab or extended walk. Downtown has several large hills, the Arctic Club being on one, just so you know. Parking was valet and not cheap, but friendly and easy. There are garages around there too, but preferred to pay a bit so to come and go as I wanted. Bed was crazy comfortable, bathroom nice size shower and whirlpool tub decent. Interior lobby is very nice, old but beautiful, exterior entrance very nice architecture. Great stay, as I said, only issue is street noise if you are used to absolute silence.

After talking to the front desk we were told it was ok to park in the adjacent garage but were warned it was "unsecured". This was not true, the garage was locked up for the weekend which made us stranded in Seattle an additional day. We had 3 electrical items, including the air conditioning break down in one day and when the room was cleaned the next day they did not replenish coffee and creamer. Throughout the night there were police sirens in the echo of downtown skyscrapers. To his credit and after much negotiation the front desk manager contacted the garage manager and we were able to get our car out Sunday morning, however there was another couple that stayed at the hotel in the same situation, we don't know if they ever got their car out. The Hotel is a really cool notalgic atmosphere, go check it out, but don't stay there

The hotel was close to restaurants, we walked everywhere. The service was less than, our room was not ready at 4pm (check in time), although we had called earlier requesting an earlier check in time, they declined....saying the room had to be cleaned. They had 2.5 hrs to clean it before 4, and it still wasn't done when we got there at 4....frustrating when we had to get ready for dinner reservations, and the bell service delivered our bags (from our car, not the airport) late as well. No one offered to help find the restrooms, just overall sucky service. Dissapointed, as three girlfriends away from the kiddos & hubbies for the weekend...Gorgeous hotel though.
