Laguna Hills Lodge - לגונה הילס

This is the 3rd I have stayed here. Very convenient location for me - airport is 15 minutes, Mission Viejo less than 10 minutes. Rooms and beds are clean and comfortable, breakfast is simple and adequate. Excellent value for the price

Very nice.......the only thing was the mattress needs to be replace.

We stayed 4 nights and it was wonderful. we were on the 2nd floor and it was very quiet - the beds are super comfortable too! the breakfast was the best continental breakfast i've ever seen. We will definitely be back!

It was wonderful. Very friendly service, great breakfast, clean comfortable rooms, easy parking, and close to freeways and fun.

Walk to restaurants, the mall, movie theatre. Close to I-5 which connects to everything. An older but well kept motel with mature landscaping. Unfortunately, right across the street from the fire hall. Handy in case of fire but loud whenever the trucks roll.

We enjoyed our stay very much, the only comment would be that the bed mattress was too hard. It was very convenient to all the things we were doing in Aliso Viejo. And I gave the Hotel service a 4 because when we went to check out there was no one at the desk & we'd been told that it was open 24 hours a day. The hotel was very clean & the staff was very friendly. I loved the landscape around the hotel, lots of beautiful flowers and trees.

Everything at the hotel was nice except when we ask about the half marathon the next day, the people at the front desk knew nothing about it. The start line was right around the corner and it would have been nice if they could have answered some of my questions. Otherwise our stay was fantastic.

The courtyard is just a small area with grass (which looked much bigger in photo). Had to wait after 3 PM to check in then was given the wrong room. The guy at the front desk was extremely rude and had to tell him that he should not be working there for his rudeness. Spa was good although it was a little too hot.

We flew in for my husband to have surgery at Saddleback. The rooms were recently renovated, clean and comfortable. Location was convenient to freeway for visiting famiiy and friends and the grounds were beautiful. Wifi was Free and personnel were very helpful. They did not have fully cooked breakfast but had a great variety to fill you up. Would return again. Very Satisfied.

We enjoyed our second visit even more than the first. Close to everything, Great breakfast, clean and well maintained. This is the place to stay when we are in this paart of the country.

We were completely satisfied with our May 2013, 5-night stay. We chose the hotel because of the location - easy freeway access and near all our favorite restaurants. The property was affordable, beautiful, quiet, and VERY conveniently located. The beds were comfy, our room was clean and had ALL the conveniences of home: microwave, refrigerator, ironing, hair dryer, safe. I mistakenly left a valuable ring on the sink while I was away for the day and came back that night to find it still lying there. The housekeeping service was wonderful. We will definitely return and have already shared the best-kept secret in town with our friends and family.

Enjoyed the hotel very much. Got the room at a reduced rate thanks to a sale on Hotels.com. The hotel was quiet, with a spacious room, king bed and spacious room. Very nice to have the refrigerator and microwave in the room as well. Big shower with plenty of hot water. Although the hotel doesn't offer hot eggs, bacon or sausage for their continental breakfast, there is plenty of other choices that makes this hotel a great value stay. Staff was pleasant, even though they originally tried to put us in a room that smelled off smokers (we are non-smokers). Would stay here again. Great location.

The location was perfect for what we needed. The room was comfortable and clean. My only issue was that when asking for an early check in they said the one room reserved for me wasn't ready, they could have offered me a different room. The spa was out of service and we were really looking forward to using it.

Convenient hotel location off I-5 and close to a variety of good places to eat. The general noise level on the rooms facing outward is higher than expected; suggest future travelers request the rooms facing the garden.

This was our second stay within 12 months and raved about the standards and value last time and they managed to exceed all our expectations for this stay(15 nights)-it was a total relaxfest from beginning to end-good people manage it,great people look after housekeeping and only 15 mins from John Wayne Airport and 5 mins walking from mall and plenty of eating houses-it's a gem!!!

Very pleasant... staff cordial & helpful. Within walking distance of restaurants & shopping mall, but tucked away; quiet & beautifully landscaped. Dated, "quaint" but very clean & well maintained. I would definitely stay there again.

Everyone was polite. That sums up the service. The bed was stiff as a board, and the linens were so thin I had to check twice to make sure there was actually a sheet on the bed. I guess if price is your paramount concern this is a good value. It is across the street from a fire station and the walls are thin, so don't expect to sleep in too late. It seems they're trying to do some renovation but I didn't see any specific work taking place. Everything functioned OK, but that's it -- just OK.

Great stay. Will stay again of we are in the area.

The customer service at registration was non-existent!!! I've never encountered such rudeness with checking into a hotel, especially one that was already paid for in full. I will never say at this hotel again!!!!! Many family members & friends stayed at this hotel as well since it was for a wedding, and others encountered the same rude treatment as well.

For the price, we were very satisfied and would stay there again!

Nice motel, lovely garden rooms, decent breakfast, ample parking. Don't expect much from front desk, There is a lost and never found. Housekeeping is nicely responsive. Pleasant outdoor heated pool. Great location - near every famous fast food eatery in southern California and close to many magnificent malls - from Irvine to Mission Viejo and the Laguna Mall is across the street. And of course Laguna Beach and Dana Point are pleasant drives and Newport Beach not that far.

Very convenient to Saddleback College. Free breakfast was a bit spartan, but not a big deal. Overall, a vey pleasant staff and stay.

Quite satisfied, especially considering the cost. Would recommend.

We would stay there again. Some of the office staff need to learn how to smile and be more friendly (men).

The staff at Laguna Hills Lodge went above and beyond to assure our comfort. Not only are the grounds and pool meticulously maintained, but our room was spacious and clean. We had requested a ground floor room for our elderly mother. There were none available but the staff called me to let me know that they had given mom an upgraded room right next to the elevator! The breakfast was sufficient, the dining room tidy and the staff welcoming. Location is PERFECT! with access to beach, freeway and shopping. We will definitely stay here again!

The Room was very clean and room service was excellent and breakfast was good but the coin-operated laundry and dryer are only 2 to serve 121 rooms which was pathetic and one of them was out of order ,in addition the pool was dirty .we complained about the laundry and the pool ,they apologized and cleaned the pool once after the complain but did nothing about the laundry .Their response to the complain really made us think twice before we refer anyone to the hotel or come back again.
