Misty Hills Country Hotel - יוהנסבורג - חאוטנג (פרובינציה)

This was the best stay & service ive had in a very long time. This place is awesome.

Noce place to stay in SA if you are on vacation possibly. Very friendly staff, great feel!

Basically this hotel is a mini-Paradise. The rooms, their surrounds, the swimming pool, the restaurant and bar services, the staff - all perfect. The Carnivore restaurant in the hotel grounds, is great fun and reasonably priced. We can't wait to go again.

The hotel is situated a long drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria but is worth the trouble. It is set in its own substantial grounds. The public areas are set in separate buildings in lush, beautifully-maintained vegetation - it feels more jungle than gardens. The room we had was a good size; its only problem was that it was quite dark because of the lush vegetation surrounding it. Most rooms looked much more light and open. The Carnivore restaurant on site is a must for dinner. Cooked meats on Masai swords are brought to the table and carved to order. The breakfast buffet is fresh and ample, with eggs cooked to order. We have used the restauant before, but not stayed in the hotel. We would say that it is great for a night or two to explore the local area, but not as a base for visiting Johannesburg or Pretoria. We will be staying again.

Excellent service. Personnel are very friendly and helpfull. The gardens are well maintained and is beautiful. Food is excellent and tasteful. Resturants well organised and clean. Room 203. I think your cupboard under the TV is unstable and old. TV connections not properly done and therefore bad TV picture(signal). Spider webs should be removed before quests move in. Pillows are to flat. Proposal: Keep certain amount of prefered drinks in fridge for quests. This can be done when they arrive. According to a list, quests can mark the consumed items and pay the following day. Thus no need for a lot of room service requests after hours. Keep a ice machine for self service at reception. Also a sweets,chips and cool drinks machine for self service at reception.

Great stay out in the country. Very relaxing way to recharge yourself after hectic tour of SA before long flight home

Parking is 1/2 mile from the room in a dirt field. Resort is in the middle of nowhere. Luckily the nights were cool since "air conditioning" consisted of a 10 inch fan with bad bearings. The bell hop was carrying an Uzi over his shoulder. My wife asked if that was because of the animals. I told her "Yeah, the two legged type!"

Fantastic service, Misty Hills was out of this world. We really had the time of our lives. We will definitely return.

Veldig hyggelig og stilig hotell, et stykke utenfor "allfarvei". Nær beliggenhet til Løveparken (som ikke anbefales) og Lesedi Cultural Village (anbefales). Flott og stort hotellområde, men vi var der litt før hovedsesong - noe uteområdet var litt preget av. Hjelpsomme og hyggelige resepsjonister, men de kunne med fordel hatt litt mer info og kunnskap om dagsutflukter med guide. Bra spa-avdeling med flinke folk, og det beste av alt: en fantastisk restaurant (Carnivore), der man får en veldig spesiell og god matopplevelse! Kan dessverre ikke anbefale Gin Box, et annet spisested; dårlig service der. Hotellet anbefales på det varmeste!!

Mukava hotelli lähellä luontoa. Asiakaspalvelu oli erittäin ystävällistä, paitsi ravintolavaraukset eivät menneet hotellin vastaanoton kautta kertaakaan läpi.

Fikk kjenne på noe av det ekte Afrika ute i naturen. Ikke vakreste årstid, men kunne forestille meg en grønn regntid. Vinter og kaldt inne i husene. Koselig å bo i bungalow! God mat, spennende med stort utvalg av vilt til middag. Rimelig prisklasse. Avhengig av taxi for transport til severdigheter og opplevelser. Jeg trivdes der!

Vi var uheldig at få et fugtigt værelse da der var et vandfald ved hoveddøren, ellers ville vor bedømmelse været højere. Men hotellet ligger flot i et jungleagtig terræn med små huse. Der er en fantastisk restaurant med en meget stor grill hvor de serverer forskellig vildtkød. Så vil du smage krokodille og elefant så er det den perfekte afslutning på ferien.

O hotel é muito bom. Barato e tem tudo o que um 4 estrelas na Afreica deve ter. O restaurante Carnivore, que fica dentro do hotel é uma experiência que não deve ser perdida (rodízio de carnes exóticas; zebra, corcodilo, etc). O hotel fica a 2 km do Lion Park, Para quem quer acariciar filhotes de leão.

Her møter man gjestefrie mennesker som gjør alt de kan får at du skal få et fint opphold i Livingstone. Vi ble innlagt på sykehus under oppholdet,og eieren av stedet var innom sykehuset flere ganger daglig med mat,vann,juice osv. Han betalte selv for alt han kjøpte til oss, og ba oss ringe når som helst uansett hva det skulle være. Han har hentet oss,kjørt oss rundt,hjulpet med handling osv. Ingenting skulle han ha tilbakebetalt penger for,da han hadde stor medfølelse for oss som havnet på sykehus i et fremmed land uten noe familie å støtte oss til. De ansatte for øvrig er veldig hyggelig, viser stor omsorg og hjelper til med hva det skulle være. Rommet er i veldig god stand, og området er koselig med et lite basseng i hagen. Absolut et sted vi vil anbefale!
