Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Swansea - סוואנסי

The hotel was clean and conveniently located 5 minutes away from my sisters house. The water pressure in the shower, was awful. However the room was clean, the hotel was clean, the free breakfast was good, and the staff was attentive. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

It was good for our multi night stay.

Very comfortable, staff is nice. Rotting lemons in a water cooler in front foyer very disturbing!

Great stay. Nice, fresh, large rooms. Breakfast was weak, but that's to be expected at most chains. Worth it though, as the Exec. King room had enough space to do a P90X workout.

Excellent experience, pool very nice, breakfast delicious, staff friendly and helpful. Noise from floor above disturbed sleep, and plug could not be supplied for the tub, but other than that a great stay.

The hotel is clean and new. Great location. Breakfast was very good. Staff was nice and attentive. Only complaint would be the controls of the heat did not work well. Even with the air conditioning on in the middle of winter, our room was hot.

very satisfied with the Hotel and it's employees. Also the Ethnic Portuguese food in the area. Will highly recommend staying there on my next visit.

I stay at this Holiday Inn Express when I go to visit my daughter in college because the rooms are always clean neat and spacious. I work in a motel myself so I know what to check for and for the price this hotel is worth it and more. My only complaint would be thin walls. The staff is so welcoming and accommodating above and beyond what is needed and the complimentary continental breakfast is more than most would serve. I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for price= accommodation. If you are looking for gloss I suggest somewhere else but for family stay, grab a room here.

Room was clean and satisfactory on most counts. Did note the plumbing in the bathtub was not solidly mounted within the wall which worried us a bit, but it all worked fine. As for location, it would be fairly well-situated for visits to Providence, RI, but it wasn't such a great choice for us as we were primarily interested in visiting Newport, Fall River and Cape Cod. But, it wasn't a huge problem since the hotel is located so near the interstate off-ramp. Complimentary breakfast was fine. I would recommend this hotel if its location meets your needs.

Good breakfast and friendly staff. Only real complaint was with "creaky " floors. Could hear people above and am sure folks below could hear us move around as well.

Really nice clean friendly place. The breakfast bar was well beyond what we expected. Next trip up we will stay here again.

easily able to travel near and far with the location. Room was much larger than expected and clean. Breakfast was different both mornings I was there which was great. And never ending am coffee is always nice. Front desk and house keep staff were wonderful and friendly.

Stayed one night with family. Two rooms. Overall experience was excellent. The hotel was clean and comfortable while the staff provided great service. The breakfast was also very good.

Nice newer facility.Large room with all the bells and whistles. Check in staff very helpful, nice location as well. Only issue was I felt it was overpriced by 20 percent or so.

Was pleasant. Came in late at night and left early. One tiny complaint: you need to change the shower heads as there wasn't very good water pressure. Thanks

I checked in feeling apprehensive when everything else was booked for Waterfire but was very pleasantly surprised. I was worried a 2.5 star hotel would be run down but this was not the case at all. The room was huge (314), well decorated and beds were comfortable. Staff well trained , very friendly and outgoing. Breakfast offerings were plentiful but highly processed...most people eating standard american diet won't notice. Glad they had granola, peanut butter and oranges. 20 minute access to Providence, 45 to Newport and coming in from the East side of RI you get to skip the traffic of Jamestown bridge. Sorry that we ran out of time to get to historic Tiverton 4 Corners nearby. Note to hotel staff: Figure out a corner guard barrier that you can install to prevent water dripping off of tub corner onto floor. Good condition of bathroom will soon deteriorate if not corrected.

Good place and comfortable to stay

We were pleased with the general appearance of this hotel, our room was pleasant and neat. The level of service was exceptional. We would have preferred a larger indoor pool though, the present one almost seems tiny. Also, a decent sized, flat-screened tv in the rooms would have been nice. Not many attractions nearby.

I had read that the room had a refrigerator, so I had the rest of my dinner wrapped up. Upon initial entry into my room, I was disappointed to find out the refrigerator didn't work; I checked the settings, the electrical connection, but it was completely dead. Then upon taking a shower that night, I looked up only to find mold spores on the ceiling. After seeing the amount of steam on the bathroom mirror, I checked the vent, and that was also broken. Then around 10pm, when I was trying to go to bed, I had to listen to my neighbor's TV going all night. The walls are paper-thin in this place. I could hear them talking plain-as-day, too. The continental breakfast in the morning, had cold eggs and coffee. STAY AWAY from this hotel. It had the potential to be nice, but the management obviously could care less about things.

My wife and I wanted to see the 4th of July Parade in Bristol, RI and enjoy the festivities there. We had booked a room ahead of time in Bristol but they changed conditions on us, leaving us without accommodation just before the holiday. This hotel saved our trip by giving us great accommodation and service (the size and equipment of the room was above standard) at a great price, and their complimentary breakfast was excellent as well. If you have business or vacation plans in or near Swansea, MA, check it out!

Quality was as expected for Holiday Inn.......the entrance off the road was a little inconvenient due to the fact that you had to cros oncoming traffic at the top of a hill..........had a couple of close calls

I have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express before. I was pleased with my first stay there and was just as pleased this time. The reviews I read were not all positive but I didn't have any problems. Will definitely stay at Holiday Inn Express again!

Pool was tiny.

I would, without a doubt, stay at this hotel again. The cleanist hotel I have ever stayed in and they offer a very very good breakfast.

The hotel itself is pretty basic, and if you just need a bed and shower, you'll get what you pay for. The staff was very attentive to needs, and the location was just where we needed it. The room also came with a good amount of supplies, such as shampoo and soap, and extras, like makeup remover. However, the room was not clean at all. Specifically, there was a fake eyelash still stuck to the shower wall, and the bottom of the shower was stained by what looked to be hair dye. The hotel needs to do a lot of maintenance as well: some curtains were hanging off or broken, the shower's faucets and shower head looked like they were coming off the wall, etc.

When visiting family in the area, this is our Hotel of choice. Consistantly well maintained and their breakfasts are great.
