Elysium Apartments - Palm Cove

The place was alright, self serviced (no room cleaning) and not really worth what we paid for it

friendly hosts, apartment very well presented, helpful advice on trips and activities. We loved staying there. Walk to the main street was fine.

My husband and I stayed at Elysium for a 3 night stay. They didn't clean our room every day unless you instructed them to, which was fine with me. The studio room was like a hotel room but had a microwave and basic items so you can eat small meals. There was also a patio which was nice. The hotel was almost at the end of the beach strip of "Palm Cove" but it was great to walk down to the beach and visit the shops along the beach. There are small grocery markets, internet cafes, and restaurants 5-10min walk from the apartments. The Cairns Zoo was just a few minutes away as well (which is an awesome attraction by the way - would definitely recommend it!). I liked Palm Cove in that we were in between Cairns and Port Douglas (ate and visited all three cities). Lovely vacation! We ate at Apres and Elysium had a discount with them as well as the restaurant right next to the apartments.

We upgraded from a studio to a 1 bedroom apartment which was very spacious an of excellent quality. The outlook was poor but we were happy with the spacious balcony. The family who mange this small block are superb,helpful and knowledgable. There is an absurd policy here unlike all the hotels( many) and other places I have booked for pleasure and business --- turn up early and even if the room is ready you will not be allowed to move in without substantial payment .We had to pay an extra payment of a night stay to gain entry at 8.30 am instead of 2.00pm. If you fly from Perth direct you will land,as we did,around 5.00am in which case book elsewhere or negotiate early entry.Other than that the quality,service and friendliness of the family team is superb.

My fiancee and I recently stayed here for a short 5 night getaway. We were thoroughly impressed by the cleanliness, size and decor of our apartment. It is not located on the main strip opposite the beach, but rather a short walk, which in no way impacted on our stay. There is a fantastic range of restaurants in Palm Cove, all of which we could access on foot. The beach is beautiful and clean and in no way over crowded. Our hosts Roger and Jocelyn were lovely and very helpful. They always took the time to answer our questions and assist in booking activities. If you are up that way we would highly recommend Ride the beach, which was a trail ride on horse along the beach and through rainforest, combined with a trip to Mossman Gorge!

パームコーヴの海岸からは少し離れていますが、部屋がとてもスタイリッシュで綺麗でほんと素敵なアパートメントでした。超お薦めですよ。トロピカル動物園にも行くバス停が前に有り、８：３０オープンのコアラと一緒に食べるブレックファースト付き入場券がお薦めですよ。　　　管理人さんもほんと親切でしたし、朝焼けの海岸は４００枚程取った写真の中でNo1のフォトになりました。ただ、ケアンズ着が早朝の場合、入口が閉まっているので、事前連絡が必要です。

パームコーブのビーチサイドの通りからちょっと歩く場所にある小ぢんまりしたアパートメントで落ち着いた滞在にもってこいです。部屋は完璧に清潔。 オーナー夫婦（？）が住み込みでやっているようですが、フロントの開いている時間が限られること、開いているはずの時間でも不在の場合（連絡先電話番号あり）、対応が英語オンリーなど、人によっては不安に感じることもあるかもしれませんが、フレンドリーでよい人たちです。アパートはホテルと別物と思ったほうがよいようです。 レンタカーで動く方には、ケアンズ市内を拠点にするよりもよいかもしれません。動物園すぐ、スーパー近く、キュランダらくらく、ポートダグラス、モスマン、デインツリーへもよい距離です。 家族の中でもここにしてよかったねと話しています。
