Desk clerk was very helpful in recommending places to go and where to eat since this stay was early in the summer season and not all eateries were open.

Was great for the money. Nice place

First of all, the location is great. You've got the beaches on one side of you and the outlets on the other. My biggest problem is they start cleaning the rooms at roughly 10am and if you miss them, they're not coming back. My girl and I had a couple of late starts, not leaving the room until 11am only to come back at 10pm to find the room exactly as we left it. Unmade bed, wet towels. It wasn't until the final day when we left to catch the 11 am checkout did I even catch a glimpse of the cleaning staff, so they do exist. As long as you're out of your room by 9am, you probably won't have a problem. Also, it our room, the carpets and sheets had some staining, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Clean hotel. Simple breakfast. Well insulated for outside noise however poorly insulated between the rooms. We could easily hear in detail people in adjoining rooms on both sides. The room was unexpectantly small as compared to other hotels.

We enjoyed our time at the Microtel Inn in York. We have stayed there before and believe the quality and service is very good for the price. We would have liked to be closer to the beach but all things considered everything was in close enough driving distance that we did all the things we wanted to. Clean and pretty comfortable. The free breakfast is nothing to brag about but after all it is free.

I would definitely stay here again. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Everything was nice and clean. Kids loved the heated pool and fresh baked cookies we came home to every night.

Clean hotel, comfy bed, nice staff. Would have been nice to have a fridge in the room. Close to Kittery.

My son is a skateboarder, and occasionally we come to Rye Airfield for a nice getaway! This I think is the best hotel we've been in yet! Looks recently renovated, and the beds are so comfy! And not to mention outlet shopping pretty much down the street! And great food! Must check out 3 Bouys Seafood for some homemade food!

The hotel was clean and comfortable, everyone was great. The only complaint I would have was the ceiling vent in the bathroom was filthy and should have been cleaned. An easily overlooked item.

The room was clean and decor was very pleasant. The only downside was the "thin walls", which other reviewers have mentioned - the reason for the "3" rating on comfort. I could hear the neighbors' every step! Other than that, it was a nice room, I enjoyed having the microwave and refrigerator, and the hotel is ideally located within a few miles of York Beach and other areas along the coast.

Me and my other half have stayed at this hotel more then once and I enjoy everything about it. The hot tub and pool are my favorite. The rooms are clean and well kept, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and u don't have to go far for a delishes cooked meal with a restorant right out front of the hotel.

Carpet & paint worn , low quality housekeeping. Pool full of screaming kids with nobody watching. Poor selection for breakfast. Good location 2 minutes off highway. It snowed when we were there and walkways were not cleaned at 11:00 am when we left.

The price was good, but the room was really tiny. It was close to all the outlet shopping centers and easy to find.

The only down fall for me was that I was not aware that the pool was open to the public. It was loaded with birthday parties and very busy.

Newly renovated. Has small pool and decent Breakfast with cereal and waffles etc. good staff. The walls are thin so it can be a bit loud if you have loud neighbors. It's a great value given the price.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were in room 216. Matt did an excellent job cleaning the room. We greatly appreciate the time and effort he took in making the room so nice for us. Also, a special thanks to Nick at the front desk. He was very pleasant to talk with and very helpful. He directed us to a nice restaurant for dinner to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. The food was excellent. We really enjoyed our night.

Room was OK for price. Room heater was very annoying. Cycled on and off extrtemely often, no mater how much we reduced the temperature setting. Blower still cycled on after turning the unit to off. Air blew right on the bed. Verry annoying. Breakfast service was not very sanitary.

We were able to go downtown for a couple hours, very beautiful. Support local shops, their always the best!!!

If you can take a very small room I would say overall the room was good. The room it self was clean but carpet needed cleaning UGH

clean,close to major shopping area, very economical!!

We slept with the windows open in the front part of the hotel and it was quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. Go there.

We enjoyed our stay here in York, Maine. The hotel is right in the middle of Ogunquit and Kittery where we visited and shopped and walked the Marginal Way. Breakfast was fine and we'd stay here again.

We found the pillows and sheets covered in hair from previous guests. Easy to see wrinkles on used sheets and pillows. Did former guests stay a week? One thing is primary for any hotel establishment...clean beds! This was unacceptable and inexcusable. We requested clean sheets which we had to change ourselves because young desk clerk was at a loss. Management never returned our calls and it has been one week since our stay. Poor choice. Skip York.

Clean, large and friendly staff

We absolutely loved this hotel. It seems to have been remodeled recently as it still smelled like new carpet. The staff was very friendly, it was a great location and very very comfortable.

The hotel was pretty nice. Carpets were just a little dirty / grungy. Food offerings were fair and the coffee was aweful. The hotel was fine for its pupose and the room layout was nice. I may or may not consider staying there again. Price and availability played a large part in my initial decision to stay there.

The receptionist is very friendly. One thing that it might need to change is the sign outside. It's easily miss when you drive by.

Friendly service and clean room. The food nearby - Ruby's - was very good.

The hotel is back from the main road so our stay was very quiet. The room was very large (we found out later we were given the handicapped accessable room- I guess all the others were taken). We got in late but the manager was able to recommend a great little restaurant nearby. Based on our stay I would consider staying there on future trips.

This was a great newer hotel located in prime driving distance to outlet shopping (which was what we wanted) and a great price:) only complaint is that the walls were pretty thin and we had to listen to the adjoining rooms tv and snoring patrons... But overall, great stay:)

This hotel was perfect for our needs. The accomodations were clean and comfortable, the price was right, the location was great, and the staff was cheerful, and helpful.

A wonderful hotel. The home made cookies at night were a big surprise. The staff there obviously love their job.

We loved the suite style room. very large especially for money. Would return. good breakfast and nice indoor pool. Not on Ocean but still close to everything.
